Rajkot Restaurant in Worcester

It's not Indian food.. Fake. Calling it Indian does not make it so. Food tasted sweet, parathas inedible. Horrible experience, waste of time and money. Only non Indians or people who have no knowledge of Indian food could possibly get fooled.

Rapid service, food spot on, no mistakes and relatively quick turnaround

The foods was really basic, very bland no flavors, I would class it as below average, salads was probably 1 weeks old (went straight to the bin)foods did not taste fresh at all, pakoras was very dry , samossas were very tasteless, wasted over £100 on terrible foods, will certainly not be using them again!!

Food left restaurant 7.15 arrived 7.50 not bad for 200yards so food was cold, put note to have madras hot which was ignored in overall very disappointed

The Rajkot came highly recommended to me, however I was left somewhat underwhelmed and failed to see what all the fuss about the quality of the food was about. Tandoori chicken didn't taste particularly fresh and the massala sauce was very poor too. Far better to be had elsewhere.

Food was not up to Rajkots usual standard, put me off ordering again

On just Eat,it says you can have a delivery from 6pm but our food was 40 Minutes late. The restaurant says it doesn’t start cooking until then!!

The food was nice, I would order food online as I couldn’t find much fault with the food, apart from the onion bhajis which were the smallest I had ever seen, they were dry and over cooked, definitely not what I would expect to be given in a restaurant, maybe from Iceland! Dining in was what let it down, the tables are very close together, when getting up for the toilet you’re literally having to put your bum in the face to the person next to you, there is just no room to get out between the tables, luckily the table next to us were nice and she didn’t mind when I stepped on her foot, we both laughed at having to virtually sit on each others laps when wanting to get up, was still awkward! The staff were not very polite, quite abrupt, first time we haven’t left a tip as the service didn’t at all warrant it. We weren’t offered any water, normally being offered water is always a given, there was a bottle of water on the table which I opened and had one glass, which cost £2.80 when we got the bill! There was no mention of that, any other restaurant I have been in the water is offered and not charged. We got the bill as soon as we finished eating as we just didn’t want to stay any longer. I understand they will want to squeeze as many tables in as possible, but it’s not an enjoyable experience as you definitely couldn’t have any form of private conversation, it was all just very awkward!

There is a strange sweet taste to all the dishes. It's not pleasing. Be careful. Fine in experience isn't the greatest. All in all, pretty average.

Having appreciated that restaurants get busy I waited until 10mins after the time had expired for delivery despite the app saying it was out for delivery a lot earlier. When I called I was told the book of less than 10mins. I asked if they were doing multiple drops and was told categorically not. 15 mins later IE 7pm the food arrives and what is more insulting was the delivery driver just left the food on the front doormat and by the ti

Great night. A large party all well looked after.

They claimed they never received my order, even though they knew my name and address. After contacting uber eats, they suddenly decided to cancel the order that "never existed" two and a half hours later.

Have tried all the curry restaurants in Worcester, this is easily the best. Always open, always busy, staff are friendly and curry is consistently flavoursome. Get the vindaloo 😎

Lovely, tasty food. Peshrawi naan and garlic and cheese naan were excellent - full of filling and flavour.

Placed delivery order @ 1844, i’m a patient person, not arrived @2014. Assuming 90 mins is reasonable . Rang up to check status… no record of order.. when ordering tried paying by card, but told to pay on delivery! Maybe that’s the issue. Really poor!when I rang to check status just told ‘really busy, can’t see your order’.rubbish service

Would prefer to give 0 stars...son has been horrendously ill for the past 24hrs after having a takeaway from here. On reading the reviews I'm disgusted by the way women have been treated here. Needs inspecting and investigating.

He also was winking at me all the time ( it went to the point that I wouldn’t look up from the table so I don’t see him ). He kept talking in his own language even though we said many times that we only speak English which made us very uncomfortable. When I ordered my food I told him about 5-6 times, please make sure there is no onions anywhere as I am ALLERGIC. My food comes and guess what, the sauce my fish was covered was full of ONIONS. And when I told him that I have onions on my food he said: “ oh it’s just in the sauce “. Would not recommend. Would never go back!

food was great but containers had tipped over in transit so we had a bag full of mess . consequently, will not use again.

Best curry house in Worcester by far. I have been going here for many years but it just keeps getting better and better. The staff are so friendly and always look after you and find you a table even when they’re really busy. Fantastic I don’t think there is a bad dish on the menu, but the Thali is especially good being a variety of classics and great value.

Missing item from order after waiting over 2 hrs. Very disappointed.

The food was OK at best. Potato instead of chicken but it was the service that was atrocious. The way they spoke, touched and stared at my 5 year old daughter as if they wanted to molester her, was so obvious and uncomfortable. They never left us alone from start to finnish. the way they watched us, uncomfortably and even jumping on us passing our plates around as we were dishing it out was like nothing i have ever experienced before . The beer pipes have not been cleaned for some time by the smell and taste of it. But don't take my word for it read the other 1 star reviews on this place and please don't take kids there especially young girls!!! Disgusting!!!!

Was the rudest and most disgusting level of adult service that I’ve ever had and I’m 45!. This is my first and hopefully last time on a ‘feedback site’ and that should and hopefully does speak volumes….they were ignorant, arrogant, condescending and ‘bully’ like. Which was intimidating. please avoid and the food was average at best.

My son took me in for my mother's day present it was quiet the staff not very friendly the main meal was bought out before we finished starters we were rushed from start to finish ended up bringing some of the food home

Disappointed. Normally top quality. Didn’t get what I ordered. It was late but I don’t mind that. Ordered a Dansak and wasn’t sure what I actually got. I’ll still order again tho!

I visited for Valentine’s Day. The server was very inappropriate he spent the whole evening flirting with me in front of my partner and staring at me from afar. He then gave me a rose in front of my boyfriend and grabbed my thigh below my skirt. The behaviour was disrespectful and disgusting.

Fantastic food, lovely people, often have take away from here and sometimes dine in,great relaxed atmosphere. Menu is extensive and meats very tender, fish is excellent 👍

Unfortunately, very poor service & food tonight. Not the usual standard. Food arrived over an hour late and cold. Literally 5 pieces of chicken (poor quality) in my tikka masala and sauce very watery. Veg madras also very watery and poor standard of ingredients. Very disappointing meal and will not be ordering a takeaway from this restaurant again.

We recently went on a Saturday night for a meal with some friends. I will say firstly the food was very nice, we were all impressed with our meals and the quality and taste of the food. The reason for the 3 stars is a couple of reasons. Firstly we ended up in a middle table, this means anyone who wants the loo will bump past your chair to get to it and also one of the people on our table got hit on the head by a staff member carrying food. There is not enough room in the middle where they put these tables. If you go ask for a table on the sides. The second issue is the bill was wrong, they had added additional drinks we did not have. I hope and would like to think this was an accident as we spotted it and queried it and they did remove the drinks. The bills really aren't clear so check them carefully. We would go back though or get a takeaway as the food was good.

Ordered at 6pm, delivery came at 7.45pm, having spent £80 the food was mediocre at best, burnt nan bread, only one tiny salad with 2 tandoori mixed grills, no mint sauce, paid a premium price but didn't get a premium service or food, won't order again here.

Fantastic varied menu with great flavours and presentation. Staff obliging and friendly. Decor and bathrooms to a very good standard. Well priced. My new top spot for Indian food in Worcester.

Went last night (Friday 20th October) and the service is always so lovely and attentive. The food was really tasty especially the lamb chops and onion bhaji. Highly recommend!!! Best Indian in Worcester!!!

The food was nice but lukewarm. The naan bread was overdone. Delivery was later than the expected time shown. I wouldn’t be using them again.

Randomly picked this restaurant from a selection on the same street. Very glad we did, very good food, polite staff and reasonably priced. Only thing it missed was a lime pickle 😉 which is all I normally have with poppadoms

i the best tasting indian cuisine i worcester , no other restaurant gets anywhere near it . 100 out of 100, i recommend to everyone who fancies and spice fix .

Amazing food full of flavour that came out quick and hot, excellent and friendly service. However double check your receipt because they tend to change the price from menu to receipt. So be wary of that.

Just had a birthday meal, food was excellent and so was the service. Unfortunately the experience was ruined by a large table of young men, who were not only very noisy, but using really foul language. Very disappointed that the staff did not ask them to tone it down and let the rest of us enjoy our meals

Delicious Korma and mixed starter. Really pleased that the food arrived piping hot too. Chana Masala slightly disappointing. It'd be even better if you could order a plain sag bhajee online, without paneer or potato.
