Rajkot Restaurant in Worcester

nowhere close to as good as eating in. got a chicken Rogan Josh instead of the ordered lamb. my husband who usually polishes off everyone else's didn't finish his meal as not great. chutney tray was not enough for even one person. it was very disappointing and waste of money considering we've always had such a nice meal when eating in at the restaurant. deliver time decent for Saturday evening and son said tandoori chicken was good.

The app said it was delivered 20 mins before it was! Popadoms were over cooked and oily! Ordered additional chutney which didn’t come

Reasonable class for Indian in Worcester but has gone downhill the last few years.

Excellent food great friendly funny staff, if ever back down that way I would most certainly visit again.

Sadly the Rajkot has not lived up to previous visits. The restaurantwaspacked and very noisy, the service was poor, it took over an hour for our food to arrive. There were not enough poppadoms and the second pickle tray arrived as we were finishing off the poppadoms. Some of the main meals arrived cold or over cooked. Service was terrible with the food 'thrown' down on the table, staff were slow at getting clean plates, cutlery and water for the table. I would blame it on the restaurant be very busy and the large amount of takeaway food they do too. The staff knew of our displeasure and did apologise for the poor service. There are too many Indian restaurants in Worcester for you to treat customers like this. Make your mind up if you're a restaurant or a takeaway. Certainly will not be back for more of that.

unfortunately food arrived barely warm and I'd ordered 4 poppadoms and received 1 broken one! usually good but disappointing this time

Over an hour late and wouldn't answer any phone calls, turned up eventually with no apology or reason . Food cold just terrible.

spent £22 food 40min late and cold. offered £5.70 refund. would rather have food replaced or full refund and collect food. very very poor...

Had lovely Xmas meal here with my good friend. Fantastic food, lovely people, often have take away from here and sometimes dine in,great relaxed atmosphere. Menu is extensive and meats very tender, fish is excellent 👍

1st time ive used them,was well impressed

Booked a table. Service was very slow and not good. Waited an hour for food after prompting them twice. Whilst other people who arrived after us and ordered after us were all eating. Food came, missing items, no apology. My dish was awful, too hot to eat then when I told the waiter, he went on to tell me that I’d been given the wrong dish and it wasn’t what I had ordered and didn’t even know what it was. Cocktails tasted more like mock tails with nothing to them. The waiter I spoke too was very rude and put it all down to being busy and it being my fault that I had been served the wrong food. He was even laughing about it not caring if I had allergies or was vegetarian! Overall the whole experience was shocking and pretty dreadful. Most definitely the worst Indian restaurant that I have ever been too. Avoid!

The manager is stuck up and blames the customers for the staffs mistakes

Ordered early on delivery and just can’t deliver it’s not the first time and just a terrible customer service argument over the phone the customer is always right !! Don’t offer a take away service if you can’t make that the times !!!

Even though the restaurant was busy we we seated right away and served promptly. Very large portions we had poppadoms plus a main good choice of veggie options too.

I've been having been eating at Rajkot since 2005 Eating in & takeaway, the food is amazing, must have had a takeaway menu from last year, I know we have a cost of living crisis but my order had gone from a reasonable £30 to £44.00

Let me be clear ... The food and the restaurant are superb. The meal was amazing and as usual quality was superb. Even when we had a cjallenge with the delivery driver tge restaurant were Superb. The driver was rude and totally unprofessional. Completely let down his employers. They have assured me he will be spoken to ... Im sure this was a blip ... so order and enjoy.

The foods was really basic, very bland no flavors, I would class it as below average, salads was probably 1 weeks old (went straight to the bin)foods did not taste fresh at all, pakoras was very dry , samossas were very tasteless, wasted over £100 on terrible foods, will certainly not be using them again!!

I ordered a mix of starters and dips rather than a curry. No dips arrived and mixed kebab and rice were cold. Utterly disappointing, especially as I’ve been to the restaurant and it was lovely before.

The Rajkot came highly recommended to me, however I was left somewhat underwhelmed and failed to see what all the fuss about the quality of the food was about. Tandoori chicken didn't taste particularly fresh and the massala sauce was very poor too. Far better to be had elsewhere.

On just Eat,it says you can have a delivery from 6pm but our food was 40 Minutes late. The restaurant says it doesn’t start cooking until then!!

The food was nice, I would order food online as I couldn’t find much fault with the food, apart from the onion bhajis which were the smallest I had ever seen, they were dry and over cooked, definitely not what I would expect to be given in a restaurant, maybe from Iceland! Dining in was what let it down, the tables are very close together, when getting up for the toilet you’re literally having to put your bum in the face to the person next to you, there is just no room to get out between the tables, luckily the table next to us were nice and she didn’t mind when I stepped on her foot, we both laughed at having to virtually sit on each others laps when wanting to get up, was still awkward! The staff were not very polite, quite abrupt, first time we haven’t left a tip as the service didn’t at all warrant it. We weren’t offered any water, normally being offered water is always a given, there was a bottle of water on the table which I opened and had one glass, which cost £2.80 when we got the bill! There was no mention of that, any other restaurant I have been in the water is offered and not charged. We got the bill as soon as we finished eating as we just didn’t want to stay any longer. I understand they will want to squeeze as many tables in as possible, but it’s not an enjoyable experience as you definitely couldn’t have any form of private conversation, it was all just very awkward!

There is a strange sweet taste to all the dishes. It's not pleasing. Be careful. Fine in experience isn't the greatest. All in all, pretty average.

When I called I was told the book of less than 10mins. They claimed they never received my order, even though they knew my name and address. After contacting uber eats, they suddenly decided to cancel the order that "never existed" two and a half hours later.

Placed delivery order @ 1844, i’m a patient person, not arrived @2014. Assuming 90 mins is reasonable . Rang up to check status… no record of order.. when ordering tried paying by card, but told to pay on delivery! Maybe that’s the issue. Would prefer to give 0 stars...son has been horrendously ill for the past 24hrs after having a takeaway from here. On reading the reviews I'm disgusted by the way women have been treated here. Needs inspecting and investigating.

He kept talking in his own language even though we said many times that we only speak English which made us very uncomfortable. When I ordered my food I told him about 5-6 times, please make sure there is no onions anywhere as I am ALLERGIC. My food comes and guess what, the sauce my fish was covered was full of ONIONS. And when I told him that I have onions on my food he said: “ oh it’s just in the sauce “. Would not recommend. Would never go back!

Best curry house in Worcester by far. I have been going here for many years but it just keeps getting better and better. The staff are so friendly and always look after you and find you a table even when they’re really busy. Fantastic I don’t think there is a bad dish on the menu, but the Thali is especially good being a variety of classics and great value.

Missing item from order after waiting over 2 hrs. Very disappointed.

The food was OK at best. Potato instead of chicken but it was the service that was atrocious. The way they spoke, touched and stared at my 5 year old daughter as if they wanted to molester her, was so obvious and uncomfortable. They never left us alone from start to finnish. the way they watched us, uncomfortably and even jumping on us passing our plates around as we were dishing it out was like nothing i have ever experienced before . The beer pipes have not been cleaned for some time by the smell and taste of it. But don't take my word for it read the other 1 star reviews on this place and please don't take kids there especially young girls!!! Disgusting!!!!

Was the rudest and most disgusting level of adult service that I’ve ever had and I’m 45!. This is my first and hopefully last time on a ‘feedback site’ and that should and hopefully does speak volumes….they were ignorant, arrogant, condescending and ‘bully’ like. Which was intimidating. please avoid and the food was average at best.

My son took me in for my mother's day present it was quiet the staff not very friendly the main meal was bought out before we finished starters we were rushed from start to finish ended up bringing some of the food home
