Anarkali Indian Restaurant in Worcester

After ordering food there was a delay until told it was on its way, 45 minutes later and phone calls between me and the most useless driver, our address is easy to find, the food turned up cold. To be fair to the restaurant they instantly sorted it

We always order from here and on this occasion we were left disappointed. The coconut rice was missing from the order, and the chicken and prawn tikka masala sauce was watery.

Always really good food. with a coeliac in the house its nice to be able to rely on the menu guidance.

Great quality and value for money

Wasn’t quite up to the same standard as normal. Ordered chicken tikka and got standard chicken. Order delivered at top end of time slot but came suitably warm.

The popadoms did arrive with the order this time but they were smashed to bits . My starter was cold and the salad accompaniment was very disappointing.

Had a table booked for 16 people with the Gurkha next door. Who took too many walk in's so they couldn't give us our table that we had booked weeks ago! Fortunately, Anarkali managed to squeeze us in and provide excellent service last minute! Well done and Thank you.. Food was delicious and service outstanding. everything cold and can't get order right ..then charge extra 10 pounds when u get there

Unfortunately sent out the wrong meal, rang restaurant who said they would send the correct meal out straightaway, but nothing turned up! Very disappointing.

Food arrived 3:30hrs later Restaurant would not answer phone to help with query-well they did twice out of 70 calls and out thr phone straight down. Poor, delivery driver turned up looked exhausted and soaking wet, explained they were one driver down. More than we heard from the restaurant. Absolutely shocking customer service. We always order from here too. Then when plating up turns out we are missing parts of the order. Absolutely appalling service from the restaurant on new nye too. Feel absolutely awful for that poor delivery driver who is working his Socks off and thr abuse he is probably getting tonight because the restaurant can't look after their customers or their staff.

Restaurant didn’t deliver all the food, had to phone 4 times to find out what was happening, staff not helpful and didn’t resolve issue. Manager was asked but could hear the conversation in the background sounded like they couldn’t care less about the order. It was late as it was!

Ordered takeaway delivery at 7pm chased at 8.45pm said the driver was in the area. Still no food at 9.30pm tried to call numerous times and when they eventually answered they hung up on us twice. We've paid £50+ and no food. Trying to get a refund. Do not recommend at all ! Such a shame as the food is lovely but customer service is shocking!

Ordered at 7pm and I rang multiple times for an update said it would be with us by 9:20pm and still didn't receive our food , tried to call the restaurant again and they hung the phone up on me , poor customer service and will not be ordering again

Curry arrived not warm and was very watery and the consistency of the chicken was not good. Starter was cold. Won’t be ordering again, shame as had been previously consistently good and used for a long time. Hope you can fix this.

outstanding once again. Its so good to have the gluten free options for my wife who used your resteraunt for a work get together last month and everyone enjoyed there meals. I won't be ordering from anyone else.

We came here pretty late on Tuesday night and were welcomed in. I was impressed by the vegan menu- not only was there a huge amount to choose from, but it was actually all great! With four non-meat-eaters at a table of seven, I had wondered how it would go. But everyone was very happy with their order! Staff were friendly too, despite it being after 11pm when we left.

We had a great meal here. I had the goan salmon curry which was amazing. My partner had chicken naga which he loved as well. All the food we had was lovely and good service from Bobby.

I'm not quite sure what to write, considering how brilliant the previous reviews have been... We asked it to be hot, and it wasn't... £40 for a lamb and chicken curry with 2 plain naan and a chicken chaat puree starter. Really over rated we're very disappointed. I wouldn't order a takeaway. Imo Rajkot is way better.

Bsst Indian I've been to in Worcester. Fresh modern menu and nice atmosphere. Food was absolutely top quality and we didn't have to wait ages for it either.

Excellent service from Suhel and all the team. The choice of food was extensive, every dish was authentic and delicious. We will definitely return and will also make use of their takeaway service.

Went for a quick meal. Friendly staff, quick service. I had a Pathia. It was very tasty. Wife had a Korma. All was as expected. Very reasonable priced food.

We absolutely love the curries in this fabulous restaurant, always a great experience when we dine in, so were a little nervous when we ordered a delivery as it can so often disappoint. No worries at all! All the dishes were exactly as in the restaurant, delicious and richly flavoured and perfectly spiced. Ordered at peak time Saturday night and was advised one hour which was expected and fine. Delivery arrived bang on time and piping hot, we were thrilled with everything, thank you!

Pete came here with two mates after watching a day of cricket. The food and service were brilliant and we were well looked after by Suhel. Will come again when we’re back in Worcester!

My favourite Indian. I have tried others but always end up coming back here. There are so many options for vegan/veggies that I often have difficulty choosing! The food is always hot, delicious, flavourful and in generous portions. I have enough for dinner and work the next day usually! Thank you Anakarli ;)

The tastiest indian food in Worcester, amongst the many bland Indian restaurants in the area. Garlic chilli chicken tikka absolutely spot on. Speedy delivery for a Saturday night

Absolutely brilliant menu, catered perfectly for me - a vegan. This is the second time we’ve visited and Suhel and the rest of the team greeted us warmly as always. We ended up going in really close to closing time (sorry lads) but still got absolutely brilliant service and the huge range of food we ordered was top notch as always. This is the only curry house we will be visiting in Worcester. Staff, atmosphere and most importantly the food were impeccable. Can’t wait to return and try the rest of the beautiful vegan options and also catch up with Suhel and the rest of the staff. Really sorry I can’t remember all their names but honestly such a lovely bunch. See you soon lads, will be in earlier next time so we can chat for longer. All in all 10/10!!! Great experience

I agree with the previous reviewer, we all had different meals and the sauces in each was authentic, strong, different unlike the mish mash in many places. Quality superb and the staff were very humerous and helpful, attentive. They even did me a special Tawa. Absolutely will go again.

I am always searching for a good lamb curry but am invariably disappointed by chewy, fatty mutton. Well, my search is over now I've found the Anarkali! They have several lamb dishes on the menu and I've tried 3 so far. All three have been absolutely delicious with beautifully tender lamb in completely different sauces - not just a generic base as is often the case.

Can't speak for the food but if it's anything like the delivery drivers I wouldn't bother. Gave me the finger after dangerously pulling into my lane, insane driving. 28/04/24

Excellent food, my favourite treat is the Railway curry, because the lamb is cooked with bone which gives it extra flavour..

Never had issue with Anarkali before. Tonight food was late. Everything cold. Poppadoms soggy. 90% thrown in bin. Will think twice about using in the future.

Nothing actually wrong with the food, but unfortunately didn’t fully receive what I ordered. Received a Korma instead of the Korai ordered? Ate it because not prepared to wait for correct dish - but obviously disappointed.

Late kept changing delivery time contacted restaurant they couldn’t find the order advised I cancelled it. Cancelled and then turned up 20mins later. Ordered at 6.35pmorder arrived at 8.40pm

l previously ordered from them & they messed the order up meaning we ended up having our meal at different times whilst waiting for the right curry to be delivered & just warm😞& no apology. l then ordered again this weekend and the one curry was like soup and had no flavour & loads of ghee😞 plus the food was just about warm and had to heat it up😞l was very disappointed. We will give them one more chance & if no good will definitely look to ordering from another restaurant.

Excellent. We ate there just before New Year’s Eve. I have a really inconvenient intolerance to citric acid and also gluten/dairy. I emailed Pav in advance and he was fantastic and giving me the info. On the night he also already knew about it and confirmed that with me. He made took all the stress out of the meal. The other staff members are friendly and efficient. The food is great. They are able to take a large group which works well for us. Thanks to you all for such a good experience. We will be back soon. Especially for the gluten free naan!

Ordered chicken tikka jalfrezi but received onion jalfrezi with four pieces of chicken

The delivery time indicated was not reflected once the payment for food was ordered as we have been left waiting for food way past their estimated delivery time we ended up collecting our order . This is the last time we will be ordering from this restaurant. The curry my husband ordered was also very watery and unappealing

Great range of vegetarian / vegan food, although not clear from the menu if the veggie options are just vegetables or use a meat substitute (only the sauce is described). Food very good, and arrived warm despite being late. And although 30 minutes late would usually be disappointing, this was New Year's Eve... So 30 minutes late not too bad! Will definitely order again, thank you.

I’ve used the Anarkali a number of times now. The food never disappoints, it arrived on time nice and hot and was delicious.

Didn't get the naan I ordered Lamb was very rough and found bone in and chicken was rubbery... Disappointed

Watery. No flavour. Bland. Not a Balti at all. Just runny brown sauce. No onions. Shame on them for calling it a Balti.

Beyond awful. I doubt I will live to see tomorrow because the food and the fellow diners are equal threats right now.

Had our nhs Christmas meal here few days ago and it was lovely here, food drink friendly staff will be coming back here

Saturday evening delivery arrived early and piping hot. Portions were large and the food delicious.

This is by far the best Indian restaurant in town. Parvez has made this place the place to go. If you can't visit the takeaway service is fantastic too.

My husband and I ate here for the first time today. We were greeted and looked after by Bobby who really welcomed us with a warm , happy personality. It was by far the best Indian food that I’d had before. We thoroughly enjoyed it! 10/10 in all aspects. Looking forward to returning!

Curry leaked into the rest of the food

Placed my order at 6:57 and didn’t get it till 8:40 when it arrived it was freezing cold and had received incorrect items. The curry was bland and had no flavour, won’t order here again

Great food warm welcome, one of Worcesters best Indian restaurants I've been to.

Visited the restaurant early evening, very very strong smell of jos sticks on entry, food was ordered, apology from the waiter as he had to microwave the poppadums! Food was very mediocre, staff unfriendly, wish I had visited the toilet before eating rather than after as we would Not have eaten here. There are much better establishments in close proximity to this one, avoid avoid avoid
