I'm not quite sure what to write, considering how brilliant the previous reviews have been... We asked it to be hot, and it wasn't... £40 for a lamb and chicken curry with 2 plain naan and a chicken chaat puree starter. Really over rated we're very disappointed. I wouldn't order a takeaway. Imo Rajkot is way better.

Bsst Indian I've been to in Worcester. Fresh modern menu and nice atmosphere. Food was absolutely top quality and we didn't have to wait ages for it either.

Went for a quick meal. Friendly staff, quick service. I had a Pathia. It was very tasty. Wife had a Korma. All was as expected. Very reasonable priced food.

We absolutely love the curries in this fabulous restaurant, always a great experience when we dine in, so were a little nervous when we ordered a delivery as it can so often disappoint. No worries at all! All the dishes were exactly as in the restaurant, delicious and richly flavoured and perfectly spiced. Ordered at peak time Saturday night and was advised one hour which was expected and fine. Delivery arrived bang on time and piping hot, we were thrilled with everything, thank you!

Pete came here with two mates after watching a day of cricket. The food and service were brilliant and we were well looked after by Suhel. Will come again when we’re back in Worcester!

My favourite Indian. I have tried others but always end up coming back here. There are so many options for vegan/veggies that I often have difficulty choosing! The food is always hot, delicious, flavourful and in generous portions. I have enough for dinner and work the next day usually! Thank you Anakarli ;)

The tastiest indian food in Worcester, amongst the many bland Indian restaurants in the area. Garlic chilli chicken tikka absolutely spot on. Speedy delivery for a Saturday night

Absolutely brilliant menu, catered perfectly for me - a vegan. This is the second time we’ve visited and Suhel and the rest of the team greeted us warmly as always. We ended up going in really close to closing time (sorry lads) but still got absolutely brilliant service and the huge range of food we ordered was top notch as always. This is the only curry house we will be visiting in Worcester. Staff, atmosphere and most importantly the food were impeccable. Can’t wait to return and try the rest of the beautiful vegan options and also catch up with Suhel and the rest of the staff. Really sorry I can’t remember all their names but honestly such a lovely bunch. See you soon lads, will be in earlier next time so we can chat for longer. All in all 10/10!!! Great experience

I agree with the previous reviewer, we all had different meals and the sauces in each was authentic, strong, different unlike the mish mash in many places. Quality superb and the staff were very humerous and helpful, attentive. They even did me a special Tawa. Absolutely will go again.

I am always searching for a good lamb curry but am invariably disappointed by chewy, fatty mutton. Well, my search is over now I've found the Anarkali! They have several lamb dishes on the menu and I've tried 3 so far. All three have been absolutely delicious with beautifully tender lamb in completely different sauces - not just a generic base as is often the case.

Can't speak for the food but if it's anything like the delivery drivers I wouldn't bother. Gave me the finger after dangerously pulling into my lane, insane driving. 28/04/24

Excellent food, my favourite treat is the Railway curry, because the lamb is cooked with bone which gives it extra flavour..

Never had issue with Anarkali before. Tonight food was late. Everything cold. Poppadoms soggy. 90% thrown in bin. Will think twice about using in the future.

We order from here regularly but our last couple of orders have had food missing which is a shame. I’d rather my food be on time with everything I’d ordered rather than early with things missing

Ordered at 19:09. Been 1 hour and 40 minutes and still not received the food. Never use this again. Stay clear. Not a happy customer

Nothing actually wrong with the food, but unfortunately didn’t fully receive what I ordered. Received a Korma instead of the Korai ordered? Ate it because not prepared to wait for correct dish - but obviously disappointed.

Late kept changing delivery time contacted restaurant they couldn’t find the order advised I cancelled it. Cancelled and then turned up 20mins later. Ordered at 6.35pmorder arrived at 8.40pm

l previously ordered from them & they messed the order up meaning we ended up having our meal at different times whilst waiting for the right curry to be delivered & just warm😞& no apology. l then ordered again this weekend and the one curry was like soup and had no flavour & loads of ghee😞 plus the food was just about warm and had to heat it up😞l was very disappointed. We will give them one more chance & if no good will definitely look to ordering from another restaurant.

Excellent. We ate there just before New Year’s Eve. I have a really inconvenient intolerance to citric acid and also gluten/dairy. I emailed Pav in advance and he was fantastic and giving me the info. On the night he also already knew about it and confirmed that with me. He made took all the stress out of the meal. The other staff members are friendly and efficient. The food is great. They are able to take a large group which works well for us. Thanks to you all for such a good experience. We will be back soon. Especially for the gluten free naan!

The delivery time indicated was not reflected once the payment for food was ordered as we have been left waiting for food way past their estimated delivery time we ended up collecting our order . This is the last time we will be ordering from this restaurant. The curry my husband ordered was also very watery and unappealing

Great range of vegetarian / vegan food, although not clear from the menu if the veggie options are just vegetables or use a meat substitute (only the sauce is described). Food very good, and arrived warm despite being late. And although 30 minutes late would usually be disappointing, this was New Year's Eve... So 30 minutes late not too bad! Will definitely order again, thank you.

I’ve used the Anarkali a number of times now. The food never disappoints, it arrived on time nice and hot and was delicious.

Didn't get the naan I ordered Lamb was very rough and found bone in and chicken was rubbery... Disappointed

Watery. No flavour. Bland. Not a Balti at all. Just runny brown sauce. No onions. Shame on them for calling it a Balti.

Beyond awful. I doubt I will live to see tomorrow because the food and the fellow diners are equal threats right now.

Saturday evening delivery arrived early and piping hot. Portions were large and the food delicious.

This is by far the best Indian restaurant in town. Parvez has made this place the place to go. If you can't visit the takeaway service is fantastic too.

My husband and I ate here for the first time today. We were greeted and looked after by Bobby who really welcomed us with a warm , happy personality. It was by far the best Indian food that I’d had before. We thoroughly enjoyed it! 10/10 in all aspects. Looking forward to returning!

Placed my order at 6:57 and didn’t get it till 8:40 when it arrived it was freezing cold and had received incorrect items. The curry was bland and had no flavour, won’t order here again

Visited the restaurant early evening, very very strong smell of jos sticks on entry, food was ordered, apology from the waiter as he had to microwave the poppadums! Food was very mediocre, staff unfriendly, wish I had visited the toilet before eating rather than after as we would Not have eaten here. There are much better establishments in close proximity to this one, avoid avoid avoid

Went about 4 months ago and was really nice older Indian guy couldn’t do enough . Went today at 10.40 ish and guy was not pleasant at all said we are shut, went to Bombay palace and was brilliant , would not recommend anakaksli to anyone anymore

Food is usually very nice, friendly drivers, sadly extremely late on this occasion even after calling to find out what happened to my delivery. Not great service this occasion a bit let down hopefully better next time.

Ordered online, had a problem with the available time slots so called and was told it would be there within the hour. It took an hour and fifty minutes to arrive. When it did the poppadoms were soft. The Balti’s and naan were good but overall very disappointing.

I have no idea how late it is going to be as I am still waiting for food to be delivered 45 minutes after the original time,.. tried to look for a phone number to check on progress, but none to be found!! This is not acceptable! We used the just eat app, but that just told us when it was supposedly delivered!!

The site said 45 mins for delivery it ended up being an hour and a half. If you can’t deliver within the time you initially suggest its not ok to amend it on the just eat site . We wont be ordering from you again !!

Food arrived hot and in timescale quoted. Delivery man polite. Food was spot on!

We had two mains and one rice dish between two. More than enough for us. Add in the poppadoms with dips and we had a great Friday night in. Our food arrived hot, and within the expected delivery window.. It was also extremely delicious and full of flavour. 5 stars are not enough. Anarkali, we will be ordering from you again :)

The food is always excellent, the delivery is always hit and miss, last time we ordered it arrived 30 mins early luckily we were home. This time 35 mins late. I don't know how the Just Eat process works but it seems the Anarkali clicks that the driver is on his way long before the food is ready. The app advised me driver was on his way at 18.15, then nothing happened and the app stopped updating, At 18.45 I rang the Restaurant who advised he was 10 mins away, I asked the driver what was the problem when he finally arrived at 19.05, he didn't seem to think he was late and then said something about traffic. It's hilarious luckily the food is excellent otherwise I'd go elsewhere. Looking forward to next time 😉

Whilst the food was edible, it wasn't anywhere near the best Indian takeaway food around Worcester. The Jalfrezi had very little heat, I didn't even break a bead of sweat. The OH had a Goan curry which needed to be stirred quite well due to the excess oil on top. Tiffin bites were good though, with tender chicken and tasty kebab. The samosas were a little soggy for my liking, but nice enough. All delivered luke warm.

Delivery time over an hour however food arrived and it was amazing. First time ordering a takeaway as we normally eat in the restaurant. Prefer the eat in experience but would definitely order again

Food was very dry and the sauce was a paste !!!! not a sauce !! Very disappointing Payed for some extras but no real difference in quantity! At point of order delivery time of 820pm This was changed moments after the order to 925pm Not at there usual standard far far from it one of the worst we have had in a while 😟

This used to be our favourite food place in Worcester. Haven’t been for a while so treated ourselves. Quality has seriously gone down hill. Watery korma and the oil sat on top of my boyfriends meal was disgusting. Cheese naan has no cheese in. We won’t be bothering again. Such a shame as it used to be so lovely.

First time as was passing on my motorcycle and was hungry. Food was excellent ( spicey korma ) and the staff very friendly and chatty .our waiter Suhel was wonderful.......Will definitely be back , well done

Mixed bag really. My wife had a biryani which was nice. I had a chicken tikka jalfrezi which turned up with half an inch of grease on top of it, and was frankly tasteless. Disappointing as I have used quite a lot over the years. Poppadoms we’re stale and if not yesterdays we’re certainly hanging around in the kitchen a while. Chips were soggy. Garlic naan was really nice. Left with the dilemma whether to chalk it up as a bad day or not. All in all £40+ quid and not sure it was worth it..

A rare get together of 4 siblings with partners for a birthday celebration, and a most enjoyable night at the Anarkali. Bobby recommended their original recipe bhuna, and it was so good we nearly licked the plates!!!

Delivery not the quickest tonight - 40 minutes late. Have ordered from them many times before but tonight’s order was not the best. Some of the poppadoms were very burnt and had a strange taste so not edible. Ordered mango chutney and that was not included. Food was luke warm when it arrived. Really disappointed tonight as previous takeaways have been great.

This is the best Indian restaurant in Worcester right now, I have tried them all, this is my go to place, I have been looking for somewhere above average for a while since moving from Birmingham, this is it. They have some really good dishes, but my favourite, the lamb railway or staff curry, it is A+. The staff are friendly and it has a nice weekend vibe, not too expensive, no gimmicks, it hasn’t won the latest made up award (of which there are 100’s in every town, city, region) it’s just a good place.

Popped in this evening for Sunday dinner post a week away Was warmly greeted by the manager and staff We looked at the menus and were a little undecided The manager suggested an original chicken Bhuna ( a home cooked version that families would eat) I jumped in and was pleasantly surprised- great spice and a great taste with some mushroom pilau rice and naan bread - would throughly recommend Was also offered a kuchi biryani that we may try next time let’s wait and see Overall a great experience with great food

Popped to the Anarkali for a quick curry this evening and tried the lamb Kulchi biriani and the 'same as home' chicken bhuna, (apologies for spelling!) Both not on the menu and both really tasty. For me the lamb dish had an extra tick, but my husband preferred the bhuna. If these dishes get on the menu we will definitely be having them again.
