Uber delivery trying this place for the first time. Couldn't fault it, one of the containers was leaking some ghee but it happens. Nice portion sizes, the chicken tikka dansak was delicious, would order again.

My dad went in and asked for a vindaloo. They don't do a vindaloo but instead of giving him the option for something else they just put a mentally deranged amount of chilli powder in some "sauce", chucked it over some chicken and charged him for it. Disgusting powdery mess, largely inedible, no veg. Shame really because the chicken was actually cooked quite well. One star for the chicken at least.

The dansak was very tasty, as well as the naan. The chips however were below average and tasted of stale oil.

Food was delivered on time, correct and hot. I can’t fault their service. My review would be 5 star, but I just didn’t like their versions of the class traditional curries they offer. I personally didn’t really like the Jalfrezi curry as it was really different to all the other jalfrezi I’ve consumed before. This is the same for the Pathia curry as well. But I suppose that’s just my personal taste and there will be many individuals who love these versions/interpretations. Unfortunately, I won’t use them again, but that’s just my preference and I wish them well.

We wanted to try somewhere different in the Tything so went to Bombay Palace. It was the worst meal I have ever had. Ordered Chicken Sharisha, it was the saltiest dish and neither of us could eat it (we had ordered the same) The service was slow, nobody came over to ask how the food was and to be honest I was emarrased to say something at the table so we left it and mentioned it to the man at the bar. 'This is how its served and it must be the mustard' he says. No understanding, no apology and charged us full rate. Obviously wont be going again but I couldnt recommend to anyone..

Ordered chicken jalfrazi and it came with tiny bits of chicken. It was very poor quality. Brought to the attention of waiter who just dismissed it no apology. He said that’s how it’s maid. I’ve had many jafrazies this was the worst. Sadly won’t be back. I always enjoyed it there too.

Our goto curry house in Worcester for last 5 years. Traditional vibe with carpet and table cloths etc. Extra seating and toilets upstairs. Smaller venue than some, but that's part of the charm. Staff very welcoming, and food is generally delicious. Although lately delivery is taking longer and paneer Tika delivered to home got bit chewy.

Very poor, sauce was like water and no taste

Ordered 2 naan wraps for takeaway on a Saturday night. Went into the restaurant in person to order. Asked for 1 peshawari naan with chicken tikka/salad inside, and 1 vegetable naan with chicken tikka/salad inside. Bill came to £14 total, so £7 per meal. Sat down to wait in the restaurant until the food came in a plastic bag, all wrapped up. Walked a couple of minutes down the Tything to eat it on a bench as it was a takeaway order. Opened the bag/wrapping up to my EMPTY peshwari naan. Absolutely nothing in it!! See photos. And the other had a few peppers/veg. No chicken in it. I can't comprehend how you could get this wrong, given the price point is £7 per meal for this! Not sure if incredibly bad communication amongst the staff in passing the order over, or intentional as was a takeaway order and thought we'd open it further away from the restaurant.... Went back to Bombay Palace, made it known we were disgusted and asked for a refund. Unfortunate timing for the restaurant, as whilst we were complaining 2 men came in to look at the menu. They heard our complaint, then decided to go somewhere else on the Tything due to this. 4 lost customers that night. Some quality control required in the kitchen. See photos.

Very disappointed. Normally best takeaway in Worcester tonight it was late and lukewarm. Had to put it in microwave to get some heat into it

A very nice little place. Good food with a very interesting take on Kardai. But, fantastic flavour and good quality food. Would recommend if you need a good authentic place to eat in Worcester.

Delivery was late and food was cold ! Not happy

Food inspectors were in on my visit, led to bug delay in the order. Probably bad timing to try this place. Not the biggest of portions. Never had a pathia that has been as red in colour as this, also have had better pathia before, many times. Lamb could of been a little less tough. Have most certainly had better curries in my life. It was ok, maybe I'd return to try again. Staff friendly.

Having just had a very bad experience at Masalla Lounge we decided to eat here, the staff, food and service was Exceptional. Would recommend eating here.

I really liked this restaurant. The staff were incredibly helpful. They let me leave my bicycle round the back, which which was so kind. They also let me use my Gourmet Society card for 25% off the total bill, without hesitation. Some places make excuses. On walking in, there's a very pleasant aroma from joss sticks. The atmosphere is warm and inviting. Service was excellent. All the food was good but just below what I think of as 'top notch'.

Have come to your restaurant many many times and had takeaways more then I can remember but tonight’s food was shocking Bhindi fingers were like slush Naan bread was burnt Curry was so watery you honestly could have drank it and tasted like soap Meat starter was minute I honestly had about 20/25 mouthfuls, so so disappointed ..was looking so forward to your usual standard but I’m afraid NOT TONIGHT..

This was my favourite Indian restaurant 30 years ago, and still is! Had chicken tawa last night, it was delicious. Excellent value for money.

One of the worst food I ever had..I ordered naan and stuffed paratha..It was so hard and burnt from sides. Channa bhaji was just boiled and sauted in tomatoes that's it.. It was really a waste of money 🤑💰..I cannot recommend anyone to go there .

I'm a brummy visiting worcs for the races...fancied a curry and popped in here...very poor...onion pakora not cooked properly(didn't eat it)...King prawn bhoona wasn't a bhoona.. in fact I don't know what it was...tasteless...a bad choice of restaurant by me...won't make that mistake again.

Unfortunately a very poor quality Korma, barely any flavour to it and a beige colour. Burnt naan. The rice was okay. Only time I’ve had to badly rate a restaurant. I don’t know if it was just an off day or not but not very happy with what I received at all.

I had chicken makhani, rice, roti, poppadoms and chutney. £16.60. The service was really friendly and welcoming but the food was really bad. The chicken in a white bland sauce was processed, hard and just awful and the sauce which was supposed to be a rich butter sauce tasted like coconut and looked like milk The chutney, I think was just reused from Asda was really horrible and the onion salad was just raw onion. I really wanted to like this meal, I honestly did but this was just bad. If you can't cook a meal from scratch with fresh ingredients and that is your only job then don't do it. Sorry, just lazy cooking. Was not worth £16+

Best indian resturant in Worcester

I decided this evening to visit my favourite Restaurant in Worcester. I was not disappointed . My starter was Chicken Pakora. The batter was crispy and chicken delicious. Main course Chicken Achari this was strong on the lime pickle and tasted gorgeous. A first for me was the Keema Nan which was beautiful. Wash down with excellent house wine -Savuvignon Blanc. To finish one of the best cups of coffee. The staff were friendly with plenty of banter and attentive at all times.

Food was good and delivered well on time but quantities were poor. Half filled rice, half filled chips, small and over cooked Nan. Usually brilliant but tonight it was off.

Driver reckons didn't have any change then opened it to find the curry spilt everywhere replaced the curry by the time it came the rest was cold. Balls up from start to finish

Ordered my food waited over an hour till it arrived and when it did the food was cold.

Food was lukewarm and naans were both heavily burnt, with the keema naan missing its meat. Food came late despite preordering also. We won’t be coming again.

Very good quality. Arrived on time and hot. Generous portions. My husband had his favourite chicken tikka madras and I had chicken sagwala which had plenty of chicken and a delicious sauce.

I had high hopes for this place as there are lots of superb restaurants in Worcester and the place was quite full. The menu seemed varied and seemed to cater to all tastes. So thumbs up...so far..... I ordered a chicken tikka balti as I wanted flavour, but not mind blowing spice. The curry came in a metal, scratched and in parts, rusty bowl..should have been my first indication that this was not going to be nice, but I overlooked this. The curry consisted of about 4 smallish lumps of chicken and this odd coloured, brown, lukewarm sauce and the bowl was cold to the touch. I however, decided to give it a try. Now other baltis I have had have been full of meat and fresh veg, and lovely dimensions of flavour. This was bland, oily, lukewarm and quite frankly vile. The naan bread was cold, tasteless and again, swimming in grease. Looking at the curries my friends had ordered, some were served in similar beat up looking bowls as mine were, however most were simply dolloped onto plates and looked like the most unappealing school dinner slops that were common in the 1980s. All were cold, bland and looked like no care had been put into the cooking or the presentation. The pint of lager I had ordered was not cold, and I gave seen more fizz in a milkshake than I did in that glass. The only saving grace was it was not expensive. So I guess the old adage is very apt; you do indeed get what you pay for, but I will not be visiting this restaurant again

I went with a friend and it was fabulous best Indian restaurant in Worcester. The atmosphere is very friendly and cozy. I can't remember the Indian name for the dish I had but it described itself as lamb chops in gravy and u haven't seen it anywhere else; it's more tasty than spicy; but got spicy from the sides. It really is a lovely place with lovely staff highly recommended! Thanks for a great meal and a wonderful time ☺️

Curry was very good, portion size and taste. Poor naan breads (burnt, too doughy & very little filling in the keema naan).

I enjoyed the food, but a couple of comments. The chicken dopiaza had no real taste, whereas the vegetable dopiaza was lovely.

Me and my friends wanted to lovely succulent curry and to my dismay the curry was vile, oily and had no requisite crunch or bite. The order was tardy, and the food didn’t not make up for it. Just sloppy, wet, favour-less curry. The Kobra were the only respectable thing and even they tasted like dirty dish water. But this review isn’t over. The naan was abismal at best.

Food was so disappointing. Bland. Bland. Bland. Madras was watery, like hot water. Rice was clumped together in chunks. Peshwari and garlic naans were so plain. Honestly couldn't recommend this place to anyone. Only went here because our usual (Pasha Everest) was closed. Never again.

Mediocre food for a premium price. First time in a long time I’ve had a curry that’s been watery on the plate.

Food was absolutely awful. I ordered a fried rice and a chicken korma, the korma didn’t even look like a proper korma, it tasted watered down and the chicken was pink! My son complained to me about bellyache. Sorry, I won’t be ordering from here again!👎🏽

Food turned up cold, and with one korma leaking all in the carrier bag from where it hadn’t been sealed properly, there was no meat in the Keema naan either, food quality was poor and had to warm up in the microwave, also had to clean everything because it was covered in leaked food
