Massalla Lounge in Worcester

Was a brilliant night catching up with family, they’d travelled up from Essex and specifically ask to go out for a curry so after a bit of googling we decided based on all the reviews Massalla lounge was the best venue for our Friday night curry we wernt disappointed lots of banter they were very attentive and the food was very good, place was buzzing

Spent one night in Worcestershire, first time at restaurant, omg the food beautiful, came out with ice cream, drinks sweets, just brilliant service, Iam heading back Saturday 14 dec, nothing to much trouble , fantastic, restaurant 👌

Absolutely stunning meal, staff so friendly and nothing to much trouble. My husband’s first time bit differently not his last !! We are going to book for XMas day x wow amazing!! Thank you so much xx

Travelled to the UK from Sydney and have to say- wow. All the curries we tried were distinctly delicious and some of the most unique flavours we’ve tried in Indian food. The pashwari naan was also gorgeous, staff were kind and attentive, and not to mention we were given complimentary treats at the end. Would definitely come back here!

The bhuna was delicious! We had a chicken and a meat one. I had chilli and garlic rice which was a nice change. The service and the lovely treats offered after the meal were lovely and made the visit special. Would definitely revisit and recommend.

Loved this restaurant! Lots of areas in which to eat so suitable for intimate dining or a large group. Food was delicious, although a tad spicy, but they were happy to redo as a milder dish but we opted to add more raita. Couldn't have asked for nicer staff who were friendly and attentive. Lovely surprise ice-cream after the meal, with toppings which included a throwback to childhood!

We got a takeaway. The tikka masala itself was very tasty actually but portion seemed a little small for the price although did fill us both up in the end. Special fried rice was okay, keema garlic cheese naan was really good. Quick collection time on a Sunday and was 15% off for this

the sauce from the curry was spilt all over the bag, on the rice container and naan bread packaging. half the sauce from the curry was gone due to this.

Lovely tasting food but very cold

Happens every time , starter without no salad , but charged for at point of order , very disappointing for a top Worcester restaurant

The delivery time kept changing. I can’t say it wasn’t delivered on time according to the App. But it kept moving forward. The prawns were backwater malformed rubbery things. They were plain disgusting. I only gave a 2 because the lamb seemed okay, otherwise 0 would be about right

Time on app changed numerous times. Originally arriving way before 8pm. Arrived 8.30pm. We waited 2 hrs. Did call and they said 6 more minutes, was another 20. Finally arrived and stone cold. Worst service had

Amazing restaurant with outstanding staff. Food tasted amazing. In fact we over ordered. Digestive shots on completion of meal and fresh cut oranges. As an Indian restaurant should be. I can’t rate it highly enough.

The food portion was very small and tasted sour. My wife has suffered diarrhoea from the dining experience. The naan bread looked and tasted if it had come from a supermarket. We will definitely not going there again

Very very friendly staff couldn't help anymore always wanting to try help more food is lovely top quality can't fault it and you get ice cream sweets at the end just to top of what can a fun night worth going if you enjoy Curry's as plenty on offer

Travel all over UK and regularly dine out. Huge fan of Indian cuisine. Tandoori bites starter for 2 was delicious, lovely fresh ingredients. Followed by a fragrant and spicy lamb curry with a light and fluffy naan bread. Would definitely recommend a visit to this restaurant.

First time here, although it was a Monday night, I am afraid had to leave early, zero atmosphere, no thought put into this, everything white washed, only thing you could hear was a little child shouting! Surprised about all the reviews that are 5 stars, maybe coming from large party groups that are popular at weekends apparently.

Balti was Luke warm and bland compared to others tasted . Balti veggies were sparse . Unusual for this , one of our favourite restaurants

Always a brill curry never have any problems simply won’t order and Indian from anywhere else

10/10! I would definitely come back here. We came as a big group of 11 (the first time for myself) and was absolutely happy with all the items. We had a range of curries, biriyani, mixed grill platter and a few other items and each thing was delicious. The service was exceptional, everything was served really quickly.

Amazing food. I had ordered Lamb Achari and Garlic Nan. It was for home delivery. The Achari was tasted really good, well cooked, fine mix of spices and the delivery was as per instructions. I would recommend this restaurant. Sorry I have modify the review. So I went back and had a dinner sitting at the restaurant. The service and ambinence are excellent. However, this time I ordred Meat Biriyani. I asked for a recommendation which they couldn't do. So I ordered Meat Biriyani. And it was nothing like the Achari Lamb. Pretty bland and nothing tasted like biriyani unfortunately. Rather tasted sweet. That's why I have to bring down the food rating to 2 from 5. Other ratings may remains same.

My family and I ordered a curry each, onion bhaji, and papadoms. The food was all delicious and the curry was some of the best I have ever had. The staff were incredibly nice and the service was amazing. If you’re in Worcester and in the mood for a curry, this is the place to go.

Was over an hour late, order lost, cal to see if we had order, business was confused. Really poor service. Items missing. Not normal service from here. Service normally fantastic.

Just moved to the area and found this place for our first meal in town, and I am so stoked that we did. Everything about our experience was absolutely incredible. Firstly, the service was impeccable. The team were so wonderful and friendly, and super attentive. We had a chat and a laugh and felt very welcomed. We started off with a beer each and were offered poppadums with a side of assorted dips. We ordered our mains, and asked for suggestions, and once the food came out, we were not disappointed. Everything was so flavourful, really delicious and perfect portions. After our meal they gave us some sweet treats to finish off which was totally unexpected! We will absolutely be back and would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great meal!!

Simply the worst curry experience of my life! I have been eating curry since 1967 and this is the worst! Upon arrival we were asked several times by several waiters if we required rice. We replied NO! We ordered a few starters and found them to be dry and hard indicating that they had been cooked a few days ago and then microwaved! The same was true of the main course, dry and tasteless! We left it! Turning to the side dish. Chick peas, upon presentation of the bill, we found that we had been charged some £9.95 for stale and dry chick peas which tasted like fox excrement! We challenged the bill and were told that the initial order was taken by mistake by an inexperienced waiter! As if! By the way, I am a Consumer Lawyer and I do not suffer fools gladly nor charlatans in the food industry. Thls place should be condemned by the food standards department of the Local Authority. The only good thing I can say is that we did not suffer food poisioning last night but felt sick as pigs that we paid some £42.00 for sheer pig swill. Avoid!

Usually fantastic but my curry had only 5 tiny pieces of chicken in it and was the most expensive item being around a tenner. Might aswell have ordered a container of sauce and just had that

Was staying in Worcester overnight chose this restaurant due to the reviews. It did not disappoint. Food and service was excellent, better than our favourite Indian restaurant at home.

We have been visiting the Masala Lounge for years and have had many decent meals. Three weeks ago we had exactly the same takeaway order as tonight’s and it was excellent. Unfortunately, tonight’s meal was poor. The onion pakoras tasted of nothing but flour. The Keema naans were also tasteless. Overall a very disappointing experience.

Went here for a catch up with friends. The staff were very friendly and the food was fantastic! They even gave us some bowls of ice cream on the house! I would highly recommend this place and we will definitely be coming back!

Top quality food and top quality service,very friendly and helpful staff. Delicious authentic Indian food served with a smile. Big lumps of tender lamb in a thick tasty sauce. highly recommend for a great meal out. Chowdhury couldn't have been any more helpful and generous. he even gave all four of us free ice-cream. Warm friendly welcome from all the staff. They had an excellent knowledge of the whole menu, food was hot, fresh, tasty and delicious. Fast service I especially liked the little extras of sweets and ice-cream.

Full five star across the board There was not a single bad thing to say Everything was spot on I booked a table and we were early and still got seated, the drinks we ordered arrived super fast I decided on 'bangla premium beer' and the presentation on the pour was absolutely gorgeous and we were served poppadoms with a selection of dips and as we finished them up they took our food order and were very patient with my pronunciation our food arrived shortly after and we're very attentive to our table and would pass once to check and come over a second time to ask for clearance to clear the table I personally ordered chicken vindaloo and a side order of lemon coriander rice, my partner ordered sag paneer and peshwari naan and she was asked if it was as a main it side for the paneer and was swiftly served to us food was spot on and authentic after we finished they offered us a bowl of orange, sweets, ice-cream, shot of brandy and Bailey's and also provided complimentary wipes also. I was also able to take away what I couldn't finish and when taking payment they were again very fast and gave us a month each. I personally would say if you don't know what to order just ask but again amazing service I have not found anywhere else 10/10 for authenticity and amazing food Delivery advice poppadoms come with mint sauce and diced onions

As a Worcester resident this is the first restaurant I think of for a curry. The staff are friendly and attentive, the food is amazing and reasonably priced, and definitely not going to complain about the complimentary ice cream, sweets, and brandy after the meal!

Food was great and great customer service i would come here again. Had the lamb jalfrezi and the lamb was tender and the keema garlic and cheese naan was delightful 😊

Very underwhelming. My tandoori salmon was dry and flavourless, not been anywhere near a tandoor grill and I think was missing the saffron curry sauce? My partners garlic and chilli lamb was lacking flavour too. Very disappointing after reading the reviews.
