Delicious food and friendly service.. Surprised it wasn't absolutely rammed because it was so reasonable and tasty!

Absolutely disgusting food I can’t believe this is the second restaurant I ordered food from in Worcester I’m from Nottingham here for work felt like a curry but was very disappointed the curry was filled with onions less meat and taste sweet the naan was ok please avoid I paid £30 for rubbish food never order from here again so upset 🤮🤢the other restaurant was the same why!!!!!! I’m Asian I no how curries should taste like 🤮🤮🤮🤮 I had to give it a star to comment this restaurant deserves 🤮🤮🤮🤢👎👎👎👎

Tonight the balijuri Moris was exceptional. The freshness of herbs and spices was quite evident and noticeable. One of my favourites always but today it surpassed. Thank you.

Had the chilli garlic massala - so bland, sauce was way too watery, was really just like garlicky tomato soup. Also how can it be more expensive to order direct and collect than it would have been to order on Uber eats, AND lie about it being cheaper to buy direct? It is officially impossible to get a decent curry in Worcester.

Amazing curry house! Great service, delicious curries and very reasonable too. I had the chefs special, the Mahal and it was delicious. Possibly the best I’ve ever had. It was pretty quiet in the restaurant, but lots of takeaways happening. Plus you could take your own alcohol too. Perfect!

Ordered a takeaway including a veg biryani which normally packs a punch but this one was devoid of taste & was very bland. If I was blindfolded I wouldn't have know it was supposed to be an Indian !. Absolutely no seasoning, spices or heat whatsoever it was tasteless. Full of roughly cut chunks of raw onion & the French beans were inedible because they were so tough. Has to rank as the worst Indian takeaway I have ever had. So disappointed as normally the food from here is at a high standard but not on this occasion.

food was incredible and delivery was bang on time, information on restaurant said delivery is free over 10 pounds but we got charged a fiver for it, everything else was great though

Food was only ok, but couldn't believe we were charged corkage on a bottle of wine of £3 for a screw top bottle that we opened and supplied, and over £4 for a pint of bottled lemonade....ridiculous. for this alone we will not go there again...

Take away food is always really hot on arrival. Good size portions.

Food was only ok but overpriced for what we got, we were also very disappointed and annoyed to find that we had been charged corkage for the bottles of wine we Provided and opened ourselves.... This is the very first time we've experienced this in any other Indian restaurant in Worcester....so why ??????? We feel this should be revised if you won't folk to return .....we won't.

Not only was it late , when I phoned to moan I was rudely hung up on by a rude staff member

If you want food from Balti Mahal I would order the day before, had to wait nearly 2 hrs for my food and when you ask how long it’s going to be they’re just rude. If they can’t cope with the amount of orders stop taking them.

Table booked at 7:15pm and to their credit the staff allowed us to purchase drinks from across the road, as we were a little late. There were 4 of us. The restaurant was empty other than for a couple sat at the table next to us. We decided not to have starters and popadoms were served immediately. So far, so good. Main meals............served at 9:15pm! In the meantime the staff were continuously assuring us that our food would be served 'in 5 minutes'. Clearly this was a long 5 minutes! Furthermore they were clearly prioritising take out meals over us. We did, a few times, consider leaving and in hindsight I'm surprised that we didn't. This was a real shame, as the food was good and we have had positive experiences here before. However, the service was extremely poor. We will not be returning.

Birthday party with the family. Food was great and reasonably priced. You can bring your own alcohol, ( which if they have space will put in the fridge for you),but £3.50 for a soft drink ..ouch

The mixed vegetable and chicken balti wasn't the best - much too much cabbage and the onion wasn't cooked, and only three small pieces of chicken. Plus the sauce was more sweet than spicy. Rest of the food was awesome. We usually enjoy a nice meal from Balti Mahal.

Visiting my daughter who recently moved to Worcester, we all voted for an Indian meal. This place was a 4 minute walk from the house, what an excellent find. They seem to have a thriving takeaway business, so the place was ours. The service was fantastic, everyone was polite, no-one hassled us to be quick. The food was brilliant, we had Butter Chicken, Tikka Masalla and a Mahal special. They were great. No complaints at all. Looks like we have found our local restaurant, easy walking distance and we will be back. One small note They don't serve alcoholic drinks, just fine as we took what we wanted.

We came in on a Saturday night for a birthday party, the waiter that welcomed us at the door was kind and always smiling. Food was good although the lamb chops were very very hard to chew, like when you forget your meat on the bbq and get hard. I personally didn't like the idea of serving plastic bottles of Evian water and unbranded ketchup from Aldi.

I usually order from somewhere else. Tonight I had an urge to order from here and I'm glad I did. They're super affordable. Usually I spend £30 on myself today I spent £20 on exactly the same order. The service was impeccable the driver was so polite and lovely I don't see that in other places. Overall 5 star well deserved.

Food was hot and tasty, only small criticism is that I paid extra for mixed vegetables and it seemed to consist of only cabbage and a few green beans, plus one slice of carrot, so not much variety.

Food was awful. Rogan Josh was watery and tasteless. Railway curry seemed to be the same sauce. No seasoning or spice. Very poor.

Came here with family for a late birthday treat. Eat in on a Saturday, great staff and very friendly! Food and servings all good, plenty to eat at a reasonable price. Less spicy than I'm used to but still very enjoyable. I think like many restaurants now more people have deliveries or collect than eat in ! The overall experience was very good. We will be back... I will try a hotter and more spicy dish next time !

We live so close to this place and have always said we’d try it out. We finally paid a visit last night a last minute decision for my soon to be husband’s birthday. It certainly did not disappoint. We had the Mahal special platter for 2. Served on a sizzling skillet with the most beautifully seasoned onions & peppers. I had the Tenga Mita Jahl. Whoever decided to put mint in a hot, sweet & sour curry deserves a knighthood. It was delicious. I can’t remember what my other half had as I was in shock that he had something other than a pathia. We will definitely return or pick up a takeaway. The menu from our usual takeaway has gone in the recycling bin.

There was a horrible yellow foam in he curry sauce. Also there must of been a load of additives in it because after eating I wasn't able to sleep all night. Won't use again

Just received a delivery from this restaurant, the food was extremely poor, I genuinely have no idea how you can get it that wrong! The rice, bread, curries, the lot was very tasteless and bland. It was our first and last time that's for sure.

Honestly never had something so tastless in my life, it was like eating a tube of tomato puree. The naan tastes like soap and is wet and soggy the rice was so bland I genuinely couldn't swallow it. Just grim.

Tandoori mixed platter was average. The Lamb vindaloo was probably the worst I have ever eaten (and I have eaten alot). two mouthfuls and the rest went into the bin.

Both dishes too hot and over spiced !sorry for bad comments but couldn’t eat our meals ! I like food spicy but this was too much ! Went in bin

Good food with nice flavour really enjoyed

Had a family Christmas dinner for 8 there last night and was well looked after and all enjoyed our food which was served hot and at the same time. They have a great menu with lots of choices for vegans and vegetarians.

Food tasted great. Expected delivery time was 50 to 60 mins but arrived within about 40 mins. Delivery driver was very polite. I received an extra poppadom and an extra mint dip that I had not ordered :-)

No alcohol licence so bring your own, shop opposite with alcoholic drinks group of 28 tested the service had to wait for main meal after the starters

Me & my husband went mid week with a ‘buy a gift’ voucher, which we’d booked using Facebook messenger. A sign on the door approaching the restaurant read that they don’t serve alcohol….but there’s an of license across the road! We were greeted by a lovely young gent who showed us to our table & gave us time to look at the menu 😃 We chose our mains, rice, sides & bread….within 20 mins of deciding, they came out fresh, hot & beautifully served! 5🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Came here with my partner last Tuesday! Great food, decent portions. BRING YOUR OWN ALCOHOL ! We had a voucher and came here to use it as it was the nearest Indian Restaurant to take it...... so glad we came! Friendly staff, clean and tidy restaurant! We went for fairly mildly spiced food and I might try something hotter next time! Well worth a visit !

After seeing so many positive reviews, I ordered a takeaway for dinner today. I ordered a vegetable Bhuna and requested paneer be added. Firstly when I opened the container instead of paneer, it was grated cheddar on top!! Secondly it was basically frozen garden vegetables with cabbage … including the very hard core of the cabbage! The taste was bland and I was left hugely unimpressed. Then peshwari Nan was cold and tasteless. All in all a completely terrible experience which I’m truly gutted about.
