Came here with some of my mates and the man scammed up out of £20 and wanted cash bit weird . The chef wanted a £5 note for some “Charlie”

I have my takeaway from here and eat in on occasions. The staff are kind, friendly and professional. They listen to what you like and make great suggestions from their menu. They are happy to try and accommodate for all their customers. The food is traditional Bengali cuisine. I would recommend the chicken tikka pathia balti. Absolutely amazing. Price wise they are very reasonable but the quality is super. If you like curry this is a great place and you can bring your own drinks. Which is a bonus if you want to go for a sit down meal but on a tight budget. Thanks guys you are great.

The nan is good but the lamb Rogan Josh I ordered is not good. The taste is just very tomato-ish. The worst thing is there are only a few small dices of lamb for a price of about 12 pounds. The restaurant is pretty mean in its meat content. I won't visit this restaurant again.

I am forced to write the terrible review. I just ordered Special Biriyani and the taste is aweful. If you are looking to just stuff you stomach, it's ok. But if you have any expectation about the taste, just forget. I paid ~£17 (including delivery) for a "special biriyani" and it's such a disaster. Asked for diet coke, they delivered regular coke. I couldn't figure out how the dish was special? It was so bland. Even the vegetable which came along with the biriyani was not tasty at all.

Very small restaurant, management is struggling to keep it up. Cook has altered the recipe of most of the menus and that doesn’t satisfy the appetite. Though it claims that they make fresh food, I suspect they don’t have proper shelf storage process. We got the chicken biryanis, which was on the urge to spoil and we even couldn’t take a bite of it, had to bin it☹️ When we informed the same to restaurant staff, it was informed this is how it is prepared and no other customers complained about it.

Start to finish. Cheap paper disposable serviettes. Plastic wipeable surface on the table. Not a Indian ambience more like sitting in someone's kitchen . Had poppadoms to start but very thin kept snapping when trying to dip in to the salad . Yogurt dip not the best . Basic lime pickle and mango chutney like out of a jar. Main course both in balti type of dishes and not a lot. Rice again in a small bowl . Naan not bad . Certainly had better at other Indian restaurants from along the tything. Couldn't believe it cost nearly £40 and we took our own drink . In all not the best for the price . Would we go again definitely not for 3 reasons . The place has not an Indian restaurant vibe its like being in a kitchen and scruffy place as well no atmosphere that you feel in an Indianrestaurant. The meal was small . Small balti dishes . The price was bad considering the portion sizes and we took our own drink . Good job the price would of gone over £50 and that's bad for 2 people..

A great little find for us, food was excellent and as part of the set meal was very good value. The owner couldnt have been more helpful and do not be put off be the lack of an alcohol license, the solution is close by.

Easily the best Indian restaurant in town. The range of curry types is so broad and also very veggie and vegan friendly. By far the best Pathia in town but the staff are what makes it Naz and the crew are just the best. Superb value for money and very generous portions.

We were disappointed with our dine in meal. It was very cold in the main restaurant as the front door is constantly opening straight into the restaurant letting in all the cold air in when people pick up their take aways etc. I also saw the staff reuse the chutney trays for popadoms from one table to another- simply topping it up- didn’t feel very hygienic. The toilets were grim. The food was nice so takeaways may be the best option.

What can I say meals are 2nd to none

Tried many Indian restaurants in Worcester and this is undoubtedly the bast in my opinion. Up against some stiff competition of course on The Tything. Naz, the owner is a lovely guy and the food is top notch every time. We often order deliveries and every time we just say how amazing the food tastes. Don’t hesitate to order from Dehli Spice - you won’t be disappointed.

Naz’s place is a true Indian restaurant with a service that is very welcoming. The dishes are great and very tasteful. A nice family type ambiance.

Nas and the crew are kings of the trade. After our favourite curry house changed their offering and service, we looked for alternatives. in the past week, i have eaten inside the restaurant and had takeaway. both for the first time, both were knockout, the price is fantastic for 2023. the chef will customise your main dish to your liking and the starters are to die for. i would always reccomend Dehli Spice 5/5.

Ate on my own whilst on a work trip. The owner was so friendly and welcoming: put me next to a radiator to keep warm 😊. He helped me choose a dish and his recommendation (South Indian Garlic Chicken) was perfect! Will definitely return if I’m back in Worcester, which seems to be a lovely place.

A visit to Worcester and a restaurant that had good reviews but more than lived up to them. A range of starters - mixed starter, chicken puree, and samosa, two main courses - chicken Naga and a special biryani - a sag panir and peshwari naan and pilau rice. The spinach dish was excellent as was the naan (best naan I have had). The Naga chicken was very well spiced. Flavours were very good indeed across all dishes. Portion sizes plentiful at very competitive prices. No alcohol license so do bring your own alcoholic drink but our meal for a family of four cost £46 including tip. Lovely, unassuming restaurant and if I lived in Worcester I would return fairly regularly.

Visited 10.45pm on a Thurs evening... restaurant was closing but they still provided us with a beautiful vegetarian meal for 2. Food was very tasty, hot and simply presented - I like a non pretentious plate!

Friendly service and great food

Ordered delivery through Just Eat. Fairly quick (half hour on a Friday night) Tandoori chicken jalfrezi was a little dry, but sauce was good. Chicken madras was nice. Well spiced in a rich sauce. Palak paneer was rich and good in taste. Didn’t see much of the paneer though. But I would order it again. Garlic naan was not very garlicky, more plain. Unusual to have to order rice as an extra. Missed the usual complimentary popodoms. But overall, would order again. Good Indian!

We went to eat at Delhi Spice on a busy Saturday evening, having been squeezed in at the last moment. That early the restaurant was quiet but the take away side of things was incredibly busy. The staff were really friendly, the main man clearly knew many of his repeat customer's by name, and sometimes most of their address! The popadoms and starters were good but the main courses were exceptional and piping hot. We would not hesitate to go back.

We always go to The Delhi Spice when in Worcester. The food is excellent, fantastic service there is nothing to fault. From the moment you walk in you are made to feel welcome. Everything tastes so fresh. Our favourite place to eat in Worcester.

We have never had a take away from Delhi Spice we always love to visit this wonderful little place. But in the tough times we are all facing we wanted to support our favourite restaurant and we were missing a curry. The food was wonderful, packed full of flavour and 'nearly; as good as a night in. Packed with care so the food was hot when we got it home. Please support this restaurant and treat yourself to a take away!

Fantastic curry house. Remember to take your own alcohol, pop in to the Tesco expires on your way there.The staters are excellent; pakora, bhaijis, all the normal stuff. Fish dishes are excellent.My wife and I love the Hyderabadi and is our go to fave. Naz, owner, is superb and so friendly. Can’t recommend this place highly enough.

It’s BYO, so we popped off to the local garage for supplies. When we arrived back the place was still empty, which seemed ominous, but we were reassured by the lovely smell and good reviews. It quickly filled up and seemed popular with lots of regulars. The staff were very friendly and efficient. The popadoms were standard and I had an onion bhaji, which was good. The curries however were disappointing, particularly the prawn. The prawns were especially, well pungent prawny and fishy. I did wonder if we were going to be ill later, although so far so good! The chicken was also not very tender. The peshwari naan however was however one of the best we have had. The tarka Dahl was also tasty, with plenty of garlic. Overall I suspect there are better places to eat in Worcester and I’d leave this restaurant to the regulars who seem to like it.

We came here on New Years Eve and despite it being very busy the service was timely and friendly. The restaurant is small but when filled with people there was a nice buzzing atmosphere. There was a large range of choices on the menu and all food provided was fresh and extremely tasty. The added bonus of it being bring your own booze made it a perfect, good value meal.We will certainly be back!

Tiny little Balti House on the Tything. Great food at reasonable prices. You can still take your own Beer & Wines to drink.

Had a meal for 3 on a saturday night, booked a table, as its only a small resturant, although do have a room upstairs, no licence, but got drinks from a local Tesco, interior is a bit jaded, but food was good, 2 starters and 3 mains for £48.0, not bad, parking tricky, but overall good evening, by the way food was good, as was the service, with friendly staff

We are regular Indian takeaway customers, albeit not at Deshi Spice, but we wanted to try a different menu, so opted for here.

Had high hopes due to quality of reviews but was disappointed. Nice friendly service and clearly lots of repeat custom. However food was poor. Saag paneer was like nothing I've ever had, just some frozen spinach mixed with some curry sauce with some grated cheese on top! Chapatis had clearly just come out of a packet. Tandoori chicken was sad and dry. Korma was sickly sweet. The madras wasn't bad though! Stomach has been distinctly dodgy for the 24 hours since I ate there. Amazed this is currently rated amongst the top 10 restaurants in Worcester. 3 out of 5 is being generous.

What a cracking meal. Chicken Naga, very spicy and hot and everything else spot on. The owner was a cracking chap who made me feel welcome and the food was a very high standard. When I am back in Worcester I will visit again.

This is our favourite restaurant to visit with our son and daughter in law. The staff greet us like old friends and the food is always excellent.

An excellent meal in a friendly, clean and simply furnished place. Owner very attentive and helpful with explaining dishes and making spice adjustments to suit. The food was extremely tasty and nicely presented. A very good price for quality food and service. Clearly attracts discerning customers in a relaxed atmosphere. Highly recommended. Our thanks to all staff, particularly the chefs!

Stayed in Worcester for one night and fancied an Indian so went on trip advisor reviews and it was spot on! Tiny place, very friendly staff, absolutely fantastic food, really delicious, incredible nann! Take your own booze as they don’t have a license.

I’ve been here a few times now, and it never fails to deliver. The food is cooked to perfection - easily the best curry around. The staff are also very kind, funny and accommodating and so create an incredible atmosphere for all their customers. Can’t recommend this place enough - great food, great staff, it’s fantastic.

What a little gem amongst the huge selection of Indian restaurants on the Tything. Take your own alcohol and experience a fully authentic Balti experience, just as they used to be in the Balti triangle in Birmingham years ago. The restaurant is small but has a great atmosphere, the staff are wonderful, accommodating any request and good fun. The food is stunning. Although a 45 minute drive for us, this has become our new favourite and definitely worth the drive.
