The room was drab and cold, the radiator wasn’t working so I was given a small electric oil filled radiator, the shower was full of mold. The shower took ages to get warm and once warm there was only a trickle that came ok. There was no wardrobe or closet to hang my cloths just a hook on the wall, it’s got to be in the top 3 worst places I’ve stayed in. On the plus side the staff were friendly but that’s about it.

Excellent, good old style pub. Popped in for lunch after a day out shopping. The service was great along with the food, we ordered fish & chips, steak pie & children's chicken nuggets. The food was faultless, the kids nuggets were fresh chunks of chicken battered not the frozen rubbish, the fish was crispy & large as for the steak pie... amazing. 100% I would return. Highly recommended

I went for lunch with my friend. We'd met up for the day and after looking around shops and the cathedral we decided to try this old pub out. We'd noticed it earlier and it looked interesting. It's table service, mid price range, lovely service and delicious food. I had the Mediterranean veg baked potato with brie. Filling and delicious. It's an old pub and the interior is quirky with the bar in the centre od the building. Worth a visit.

Quite small inside the bar area. We sat outside and moved in when it started to rain. Toilets not up to much. Needs a refresh. Put £1 in the jukebox. Only got 3 songs which I thought was a bit naff as others I've used elsewhere you get 5 songs. Music was already playing outside but when my songs came on it was turned down. Asked for the volume to be turned up so we could hear it outside. It wasn't but then turned back up again when my songs had finished!

Recently taken over by a new Landlord. Very friendly staff, and great service. New TVs installed that were showing live Football from the European Championships. Pool table situated within the bar area too. When I had visited the Farriers before the recent takeover, there was always "the old-school clique" about. However, upon my most recent visit, we didn't see any of that. Definitely one of my favourite pubs in town. We'll be back soon.

Fancied Sunday Roast, walking past thought what a lovely traditional pub, wonder if they do food. We’ll go in have a pint and ask. To our delight yes we do Sunday Roast. Took our beers out to the rear yard, not a huge space but a little sun trap. On the menu was Beef, Turkey, pork, chicken. Made our choices, on the plate itself was the meat, delicious mash, real roasties, roast carrot, , roast parsnip, roast swede, leeks, a huge Yorky and gravy. Then came a bowl of veg ( boiled carrots, cabbage, peas, broccoli) then a bowl of real baked colli cheese and more gravy. What a feast! THE BEST SUNDAY DINNER I HAVE EVER HAD SO FAR

Looking for a place to eat and not liking chain pubs or restaurants we found this lovely little independent pub just off the main shopping street. Due to local building work we didn't want to sit outside so we found a large table and ordered some food and drink. All the staff were friendly and helpful and took our orders. The hand pulled beer was local and well poured, my friends shared a well priced bottle of white wine. The food was excellent, four of us went for ciabatta with mushrooms & cheese or mixed veg with brie with side portions of chunky chips. My partner went for faggots with mash & mushy peas, all of the food was tasty and served in good portions. The food was very reasonably priced and we would definitely go back when next in Worcester.

We stayed here for two nights last weekend. There pub has parking which was the main reason we booked it. The room was clean and it had tea/coffee making facilities which was great. We've stayed in lots of pubs where it's very noisy but It was very quiet both nights. We didn't hear a thing and slept really well. The bathroom could do with a bit of an update but apart from that, no complaints. The pub don't serve breakfast which wasn't a problem as the lovely Molly provided us with lots of tea bags/coffee/hot chocolate sachets and there are lots of great cafes nearby for something to eat.

Many years since i have visited this gem of an "olde worlde pub" in Fish street Worcester, (opposite "Next" in the high street). Wonderful 17th century pub. Popped in after christmas shopping to a friendly welcome from the staff, and warm and cosy atmosphere. Very atmospheric in the lounge, a haven of peace from the christmas throng on the high street. They are very dog friendly,( and thankyou to the lady who brought our dog a bowl of water, blonde lady with glasses, sorry i didn't get your name). Great service, good selection of drinks, and food was excellent,( chips were heaven!) Faultless service , quick and efficient. If you live in Worcester, give it a try, if you visit Worcester, don't miss it, you won't be disappointed. Congratulations to the management and staff for providing very high modern standards, in a very traditional English pub.

I went for a Sunday Roast with my daughter and it certainly didn't disappoint, a great experience from from start to finish. The hosts were so friendly and welcoming with nothing too much trouble to ensure a positive experience. The ample roast beef was cooked to perfection and served with lots of lovely fresh vegetables and lashings of gravy . The cabbage was divine for which I was told the recipe thankyou so much! Although we didn't manage to eat it all and were very full we still attempted the desserts. My daughter had chocolate brownie with ice cream which she said was gorgeous, I opted for apple crumble and custard which was beautiful! All in all a fabulous meal and experience and for only £11 each for the roasts which was excellent value for money. We can't wait to come back! Added bonus for us being dog friendly!

Whenever we are in Worcester we call in to the Farriers Arms. Sometimes for lunch and other times just for a drink. This time it was just for a drink and we arrived just after midday on a Friday. It was busy and there was nowhere to sit in the bar, which has very few tables, so we went through to what is labelled as the lounge. It wasn't practical to stand at the bar as my wife has a broken leg and is using a crutch. We asked the barman if it was OK to be in there when we only wanted drinks and he confirmed that to be fine. We had just sat down when a woman with long fair hair and spectacles came along with menus. I explained that we were only in for drinks and her brusque response of "We are busy with food you know!" shocked me somewhat. I said to her that the barman had said it was OK and she walked off. Her attitude was counter productive as we may well have had something to eat, we hadn't actually decided prior to her intervention and we then took longer over the drinks than normal. Childish? Possibly, but it was of their making.

Creaky old characterful pub. We arrived just after opening and weren't quite sure at first if it might be a "locals only" sort of place, but it filled up soon enough with people probably in town for shopping or the music festival. After some deliberation we decided to have lunch here, and it was well worth it. Very reasonable prices, good filling pub grub. Nothing fancy, just very decent. Staff were cheerful and helpful. Worth revisiting.

Went here for our wedding anniversary meal. My husband's steak was fine. My vegan pasta dish came with normal parmesan cheese on ( I am checked it was vegan before I ordered and it clearly stated vegan on the menu), replaced with weak bland tomato soup with pasta in, that was taken away and replaced with the other vegan option of burger and chips. Picked the burger up and it literally dripped a pool of oil/water onto the wooden board it came on. No sauce dressing which it said on the menu. The waiter and manager were very polite and professional. Chef needs retraining or sacking! I ended up with a Tesco meal deal in the hotel room. Avoid if vegan
