Great place - spacious, with a garden too. Do a great carvery at a great price. Excellent service. Good music too.

Me and the wife had a day out in Worcester on Sunday 2nd June, stumbled across Mode for a drink, however we were surprised to see they had a carvery on. We decided to stay and try it. what can i say, for me I've been to loads of Toby's and this was way better. Everything we had was amazing, meat portion was great and the veg, potatoes was just as good. Really recommend this place. It was quiet as it was a Sunday but that worked for us. If you passing on a Sunday and want a good decent carvery then i couldn't recommend more. Super and if ever I'm back on a Sunday I'll be sure to revisit. :-)

Good place, lively barstaff, friendly locals and security team polite.

Very quiet but I guess the night was just beginning. The service should have been good for how quiet it was. Maybe some people skills are needed, or service with a smile even, it goes a long way.

Waste of time. Appointment cancelled via email an hour before I due to arrive. Called the night previous to confirm my plans and was told there was no issue. 100% false advertising. This is not a sports bar. It’s a part time bar that shows occasional sports. Just go to O’Neils instead. They do what they say.

Watched the FA Cup Final here and, ignoring the result, my wife and I enjoyed it a lot. The beer garden was fantastic too, especially in the sunshine. The staff were very helpful and chatty which always makes everything better! Never been before but will definitely be back.

Place is brilliant ok drinks cost a little more than should compared to other places and might be an entry fee depending on what's going on but the tribute band we saw was amazing the atmosphere was fantastic and a great night out

Visited the Christmas Market and needed somewhere to eat. Saw someone with a board advertising carvery so thought give it a go, was not disappointed and would definitely go again if visiting Worcester. Choice of large or regular so daughter had regular, whilst husband and I had large. Choice of beef, turkey or pork ( heard someone say no gammon as no room in oven due to turkey being popular) I had pork and turkey so 2 big slices of each, 3 roasts, yorkie, pigs in blanket and stuffing. The cauliflower cheese was to due for. Plenty of mash, carrots, peas and cabbage. All the sauces you could want and brst i have eaten for years. Daughter extremely fussy due to complex needs but her words were "can we come again". 10 out of 10 and gold star.

Went here for the football, and apart for the queue at the bar, all went well. Maybe need a few more staff on during busy games

Found this place by accident pre-Covid so when we visited Worcester recently we hoped it was still open because their carvery is bang on. Choice of four meats with all the trimmings. Well worth a visit especially if you love your sports with plenty of screens to watch.

The worst experience at a club. Tried to leave and was told to use another exit as the main entrance was apparently locked by going through their connected club. When I tried to leave through there I was told by another staff member that I couldn’t go through but they were letting other people go into the other club even after telling them I just wanted to go home. I had to turn back around and try the main entrance again and it was only because there was no one at that door that I was actually able to leave. Absolutely disgusted by the security, ruined the night and caused unnecessary stress and anxiety. Will not be attending again and I suggest no one else does too - I mean there are much better clubs in Worcester.

Came to play some pool with my partner. Had to pay 10 deposit at the till as they had no 5ers and i paid with 20. Which was fine. Then had barely finished the first game and was told that we had to leave as area booked. The rope was across when we got to the pool area , however we assumed that the staff would have the knowledge it was booked before taking my money. Very dissapointed and probably wont come back. We play pool together as a tradition on a night out. It ruined it.

Went out on a Saturday afternoon for drinks with old work colleagues, bar was very quiet and sat outside. The staff put up with our childish behaviour (all in good fun). If I am ever back in Worcester I would happily drink there again.

Gets quite busy. Very crowded, can hardly get to the bar. But is to be expected it it is a night out.

I'd question the prices in this place absolutely ridiculous £3.70 for a small apple juice even the waitress seemed embarrassed to tell me that it was right when it was questioned, love to know how they justify ripping their customers off, place looks like it's gone down hill too

We had our work party here the other night, I organised it with the help of Shane at Mode. He was so helpful and made sure everything was set up for us to have a great night. On the night Elaine and her team had prepared our tables and were so accommodating. The food was lovely for everyone, there was music and dancing everything was excellent. We will definitely come here again for our parties in the future.

Well worth a carvery,nice food,good friendly service

The security staff are under trained and do not have experience with working with the public. It is a shame that such a great venue can be destroyed by poor staff. I hope you reconsider your choice of recruitment in future to allow the venue to thrive. 0/10 wouldn’t recommend

I usually go here on a Sunday for the carvery. Beautifully cooked and a steal at £10. Very well organised and everyone is so friendly. Lovely atmosphere, plenty of TV screens and good variety of food and drink.

NOt bad. Went for the England Ukraine game so maybe giving an untrue score. They've not mastered the table service. Waited an hour for is with no option of getting our own. When we did get our drinks we ordered enough for the whole night as bo chance of getting served again. Not enough staff on and no blame on the ones who worked as they worked hard

Great prices, great music and amazing staff

Attended the England versus Croatia match. Management were extremely organised upon arrival following all Covid procedures and guidelines. Bar staff who provided table service were so friendly and attentive. The atmosphere was incredible and I strongly advise you use this bar for all your sporting needs! Fantastic day all round.

Lovely food, really good value and all freshly cooked. The menu had lots of options to suit all dietary requirements. My son has coeliac disease and upon informing the server he was able to provide him with a gluten free jacket potato ensuring no cross contamination. Service was excellent and staff all really friendly and helpful, would highly recommend for good value fresh food.

IF YOUR LOOKING FOR A FANTASTIC NIGHT, MODE IS WHERE ITS AT! First of all the atmosphere is brilliant and I must mention Barney S the manager is absolutely brilliant! The second we walked in we were greeted with a smile and his fun up beat personality rubbed off on us and turned our slightly boring night into one of the best I’ve ever had! I don’t usually write reviews but mode and especially barney deserves a good one! All in all, if your in need of a class night and a safe but fun environment to enjoy (whilst Covid is in place) get yourself up here! AMAZING!

"The best Carvery I've ever had" my girlfriend announced when I sat down (she didn't wait for me before she started) and it's easy to see why. Beef, turkey, pork AND gammon available (I only have beef.) Parsnips - I asked for crispy and the carvery carefully picked crispy ones. Carrots - soft like they should be. Mash - should be a given, but most places exclude them. Not Mode though. They even gave me extra dollops. Stuffing - good Cheese Sauce - I didn't have any because I have gravy. Girlfriend loved it though. BONUS - Pigs in blankets!!! Definitely recommend.

Plenty of room both indoors and outdoors with some very friendly staff. This was our first time going out for drinks since lockdown and all the staff were relaxed, helpful and took everyone's safety seriously. Highly recommended!

A big place. Plenty of space and lots of quiet or outside zones. Friendly staff who were working hard to keep things clean. Reasonable prices too.

Beer selection is good, but it's also a great place to watch sport

The Sunday carvery is superb. They also do a loyalty card and your 7 th meal is free. Very friendly helpful staff. Crown gate multi storey is close by and only £1 all day on Sundays.

Not really sure what this bar is. Is it a nightclub or sport bar? No real atmosphere and caters for 18/25s. Cant say to much, it has its demographic so who am I to knock it.

Only found this pub by those sandwich boards that walk around the town. What a find a really nice sunday carvery and the lady was so so friendly and helpful my wife has allergies and she told her what she could have . The 3 meats where nice and all fresh veg which makes a change from other pubs using frozen veg . we will be returning .

Well, wasn’t expecting this Saw a man with a board advertising this so we went and had a look 3 selections of meat along with Yorkshire pudding, stuffing, pig in blanket, roast potatoes and parsnips. Then you have a choice if at least 7 vegetables It was delicious The lady serving was so friendly too

Visited yesterday with my husband. We were staying in Worcester and I really wanted cocktail. We were the only people in the bar. The 2 members of staff just looked at us when we entered, it made we query if the bar was open? I asked for a cocktail and was handed the cocktail menu, none of the usual cocktails eg mojito were listed. I settled on a mango dacuri they were £7.95 for 2 but omg how disappointmenting! The cocktails were served in tiny plastic glasses that did not look the cleanest.. ! No ice, no straw, no fruit such a waste of money!! This is why mojito’s are not served as they would need to stock fresh mint ect.. All of the staff were moving tables and chairs around for a ladies night, men strip show. Did not feel they should be doing this whilst we were trying to relax. Staff made no interaction with us and chatted amongst themselves. The bar did not feel very clean. I would not visit again

We went to watch the England game in there beer garden as they advertised they were showing it. After getting there early to make sure we got seats and spending money on booze, they turned the projector on 5 minutes before kick off to find that you couldn't see it as they had got the contrast wrong. For the 'Premier sports venue' in worcester the disappointment was huge...

Nice Sports Bar near the bus station in the centre of Worcester, with spacious outside seating area. Great deal on Friday/Saturday of 50% off burgers 🍔. Worth a visit!

Alright for food and drink and sport. Closes early as it is part of the complex with Velvet Lounge. Good for Pre's

Excellent place for your sports fixtures you won't struggle for a screen to watch. Pool tables, dart board's, games machines etc, truly lives up to being the top sports bar in town. Spacious outside seating area also. I have recently been and had a Sunday carvery, I cannot recommend the carvery highly enough, reasonable price and the chef had cooked every thing to perfection, the service was spot on also friendly and efficient. My only gripe would be the drink prices are a bit steep and the bar possibly kept wiped down more often, but this is probably a lot to do with the fact that they are also a night club at weekends!! This not being a negative as it is a very good night out as well. I worked out that they are the only establishment in the centre that do a Sunday Carvery!! So get on down and try it out!!

Love the food, barmaid was friendly and helpful, menu was extensive and food was very good value for money.

I love to Salsa here, I just wish the floor wasn't so sticky and the hand driers delivered warm air.

I love this place, I popped in in the daytime for a break between shopping. The barstaff made me feel very welcome. It's really big with an outside area and plenty of TVs all around the place playing sport. I chose to sit in an upstairs area with very comfortable sofas, wooden roof beams and a rather grand mirror. I find it relaxing here and would recommend it. The menu is fairly priced with a good selection of dishes.

En buena comida veey sorprendido por el dinero. Elección sugood de cervezas, etc. Este lugar era increíble cuando era de barriles. Cambiado mucho desde entonces. Y por la OMI mejor. aunque no tiene que comprobar como ambiente club uso como barriles en una noche. La comida es buena en el día

En un viaje a la Navidad Victoriana Mercado con Sixty Sixty autobuses, Merthyr Tydfil decidimos ir aquí para el almuerzo. Aunque allí donde unos pasos hasta el bar también había un ascensor para discapacitados. El personal es muy servicial y amable. Allí donde dos tamaños de buffer - pequeña era de £6. 95 y una selección de 2 de las 4 Carnes disponibles o grande costaba 8 libras. 95 y las 4 Carnes o su propia elección. Mi amigo tenía cerdo y pavo y cerdo y ternera que tenía y había sobresaliente. Este venía con todos los adornos de los cerdos Yorkshire pudding en mantas, asado, relleno, puré de patatas, asado y Patacas Chirivías, coliflor queso, col roja y verde, zanahorias, guisantes, kale y bacon bits, salsa y todas las salsas de acompañamiento y que podría haber mucho o poco como quieras. En definitiva, recomendaría una visita aquí.

Vinimos a Worcester en un viaje de un día y me encontré con el modo, ya que estábamos buscando algo en el centro de la ciudad que hace un asador y qué descubrimiento fue. El personal nos hizo sentir bienvenidos tan pronto como llegamos a través de la puerta. Nos dieron la opción de un tamaño estándar o grandes asados, fuimos con el tamaño estándar que era £5. 95. La comida estaba recién hecha, era la más deliciosa cena que creo que he tenido. La carne estaba perfecta y una hermosa selección de verduras (especialmente el puerros, incluso me dieron la receta de la señora en la terraza asador). El personal estaban llenos de sonrisas y hablador, sobre todo era un ambiente cálido. Bien hecho.

Vine aquí hoy, Domingo 28 de agosto para un asador. Para 5.95 era un excelente asador, elección de cuatro carnes, mucha variedad de verduras y también relleno, Yorkshire pud y un cerdo manta de salchichas. La comida era deliciosa y saludable! El servicio era muy bueno y el personal era amable y acogedor. Sin duda volveremos aquí cuando en Worcester!

Vine aquí en 10 de julio con la familia para un asador domingo. Un amigo nos dijo lo adorable que era. No nos decepcionó. Fue genial comida casera. El tamaño de la porción era abundante, sólo tenía la carne, sin embargo, me ofrecieron una sección de carnes. La carne estaba cocinada a la perfección. Tenían una selección fantástica de verduras así, no sólo la normal estándar. Bogotá selección Me complace ver temperatura cheques eran hecho regularmente para garantizar la comida estaba caliente. Me sorprendió ver la crítica como todos encontramos el personal amable y alegre. Se puede ver claramente que cuidan de sus clientes, que era una maravilla para ver. Volveremos el próximo domingo.

La comida es de buena calidad, especialmente cuando se tiene en cuenta el precio. También tienen una zona exterior que es genial cuando su tiempo soleado.

La primera vez que he estado aquí. He vivido en Worcester toda mi vida. La persona joven con jengibre pelo bar me sirvió una pinta de Thatcher, que era media pulgada corta de una pinta. Me preguntó si podía rematar. Entonces él nos miraran entonces se deslizaba la chistaba( pinta hacia mí con esparcidas. Me dijo que no es la personalidad de la norma, y necesita un poco de educación. Él dijo sí. Usted FANK. Evitar mientras esta persona bar está aquí.

Hemos disfrutado al asador el domingo en el modo en varias ocasiones. La comida es muy buena y las porciones generosas. Excepcionalmente buena relación calidad-precio. Todo el mundo es extremadamente alegre, amable y servicial.

I don't normally write reviews but I thought it was a must for this place. We came to Worcester for a day out on Sunday hoping to find somewhere in the city centre for a Carvery. We stumbled upon Mode and what a little gem of a place it is. From the moment we stepped foot in the place we were made to feel very welcome by the staff. We were surprised to find a lovely large garden, even though it wasn't a particularly warm day, we will be back to use it when it warms up a bit. On to the Carvery...They were offering a 4 meat carvery, I'm not a big meat eater myself so I was delighted to see a great selection of veg. We were served the carvery by a lovely lady who clearly enjoys what she is doing......which is refreshing to see. She gave us some useful tips on what to do/see whilst we were here. The food tasted great and you could see it was home made. If I wasn't so full from my roast I would definitely have had one of their scrummy looking desserts. Maybe the option to take one away would have been good. We will absolutely be back and will recommend mode to all of my friends. Well done mode.

The pub is hidden away and do not be put off by the exterior. It is a Sports bar and in the evening a discotheque - however on a Sunday they serve an excellent carvery for £5.95 each. There was an option to upgrade to a larger plate for an additional £2, but the smaller portion was ample for three hungry adults. There were 4 meats on offer and the veg was checked at regular intervals to ensure it was still to a high standard.

Visited on Monday with a group of friends and ended up staying for lunch , they had a nice choice on the menu and the young lady behind the bar with the dark hair was particularly helpful . Food came out quickly and was very tasty . We will definitely be back

So me and a friend went for lunch on a sunny day. The outdoor seating area is beautiful and secluded from any traffic or roads. However my food was appalling. I had a standard cheese burger and fries and no kidding the burger looked and tasted cheaper than tesco value. It was that bad I couldn't eat it. When asked how was the food, I explained.. The waiter then laughed!!! And said ok. That was the end of it, no apology, no visit from manager. I will not be going there again!

Visited yesterday for a very late lunch nice venue loads TV's showing two different sports nice outdoor seating area basic food burgers, hot dogs, baked potato,salad and sub's We had an Italian chicken and a Chilli beef burger both very good and served with fries presented nicely in a red basket although wr were asked if we would prefer a plate the staff were polite friendly and efficient we had an enjoyable lunch and will return

Been here a couple of times on a Sunday recently.The place is usually busy with all ages watching the football and enjoying a meal.Prices are very reasonable and the food is good. They also do a carvery on a Sunday too.Could do with more bar staff though

The meals are very tasty and good value, just a shame you wait for 40 minutes when it's not busy. The staff are very frien
