Caffe Nero in Worcester

Had a quick stop off at Cafe Nero in Worcestershire today after a long day out. I absolutely love stopping off at Nero, as it's such a lovely cosy cafe, and the staff are always so wonderful and polite. Today I had a Latte, and a chocolate caramelised cheesecake. Absolutely delicious. Thanks for the great service today! 😍

So much better than Starbucks and Costa!

Coffee is excellent. Good is the usual prepacked chilled food, perfectly ok but not exceptional.

A little cramped to get a powered wheelchair in and out of, but otherwise great.

Huge is full of energy! Lovely and friendly. Just what you need to start your day. And he remembers you, how nice. The coffee and chai latte are amazing with oat milk.

Sunday lunch time, a few at the counter but not too busy. The cafe is warm and inviting, nice place. I wanted a large flat white so as it is the lattes that come in large, the very helpful and friendly assistant suggested a latte with less mild and a little more coffee in a large mug. It was excellent, a really nice coffee. Bought it to take out along with 2 x nice cappuchinos for others in the family that they too enjoyed. The assistant 'went the extra mile' to tailor the coffee to that wished for.

Man serving was more interested in his mobile ! Forgot the toasties I ordered, he didn't apologise but the young girl did . Knew I should have used the one in Broadstreet ! So much nicer there.

Nice coffee convenient location

Coffee was excellent - strong but not bitter. Staff were happy to warm our cinnamon swirls, which some other coffee shops don't. Panini were nice, too.

Not good. Why is the coffee barely warm? Have they turned the temperature down on the coffee machine? It's expensive and of low quality. And why are Cafe Nero toilets always so disgusting?

Dry piece of chocolate cake ! We went 20 minutes before closing .. the young man was quite abrupt saying they were closing in 20 minutes ( we ate and drank in less than 10 ) . The cake looked fresh and moist but it was very dry ( I think I had a dry piece from the back) . The whole place is looking tired - pity we didn't turn around and leave . Will visit the new Costa in future or many of the other coffee shops in the city .

Really friendly staff. Always greet you & say goodbye when your leaving. Was going every morning on my way to work always used to say to each other. Have a good day. Will still go there when I'm in town again.

Very good, polite and helpful staff. And will go that extra mile for you. I highly recommended. There's also a upstairs if getting full, toilets up and down.

Always like a Nero coffee. Especially like Nero pain au raisin !

Friendly staff, very good coffee and pleasant atmosphere. Usually go upstairs where there is plenty of room. Disabled toilet downstairs otherwise general toilets upstairs.

Staff are extremely ĥelpful to older customers, Happy to deliver to table after purchase.

Nero has the best coffee and best customer service of all the chains. Forget Costa and Starbucks, this is the beans.

First time trying out this location. The flat white was delicious and the staff were friendly and helpful. Recommend!!

Myself and my daughter bought the Christmas drinks and they were delicious. Service good. Assistants are always so welcoming in here. Tables weren't too clean though. They may have been busy before we arrived.

Our favourite local coffee shop. Lovely staff, lots of seating and dog friendly. Upstairs is a great hideaway from busy life, but people watching is also great to do from the downstairs window seats. Family friendly with high chairs available, and very breastfeeding friendly too. Staff are always happy when we have to rearrange furniture to fit our pram and dog in. Great coffee, excellent options of sweet treats and savory snacks.

Hardly any chicken in the plant based chicken arrabiatta. Very poor value for money. This is normal for Cafe Nero and I think very dishonest and devious. The coffee was good.

Milkshakes are the best thing they serve

Staff always very friendly, welcoming and helpful. The place is kept clean and tidy. The vegan panini's are always a bit of a let down in terms of filling. It's the food I go for, the staff and cleanliness are secondary. I may have to think of going elsewhere.

I popped in for a takeaway coffee. Very friendly staff. Lovely coffee.

Great coffee and service, staff are fantastic, very polite and friendly. Plenty of comfortable seating. I sometimes find the Wi-Fi can be flaky which is a bit annoying when I try to work from here.

Nice coffee, nice staff, i know the place is dog friendly, but we have sit in a table, floor was full of dog hair also the table, with kids on the floor is quite complicated

Popped in for a much needed coffee, very busy but the staff were doing a great job of keeping on top of the queues. The pastries were really nice, just out of the oven so were just right. The coffees were love and hot, just what was needed on a cold day. The only issue was the toilet could have done more regular check ups.

Not the best coffee house, the coffee was warm at best and have had better mince pies but the staff were more welcoming.

Always a good cuppa and Danish mid morning. A regular stop when I'm in town.

I visited this cafe with my elderly parent, the two young ladies made us very welcome, the coffee was excellent and the raspberry rullard was a real treat. We returned just as they were closing as my mother needed to use the bathroom due to a medical condition. They welcomed us back and were very kind even though we were holding them up. I would highly recommend this cafe and the customer focused staff.

Great Caffè Nero and such good coffee, patisseries and cakes as always. Our Nero reward card filled up and we got one for free which was great.

I like this Nero, we were served by a lovely lady some months ago and today two great members of staff ( both with trainee barrista T-shirt’s on) doing a great job. Really friendly and efficient. Top marks.

Very knowledgeable and helpful female (Kiwi?) served us today. Had no idea what to order but she made it easy and was very transparent when telling us about the extra fee for syrup! A lovely experience....not rushed and really potent cold Latte! Oooooh buzzing!

Go here often Covid- 19 regulations standards clean great staff food drinks good sometimes do the Toogoodtogo app and this was what we got with that this time Yummy 😋.

I put three because the service in broad street is up and down with some staff making you feel rushed and not listening to customers. Whereas the shambles has been brilliant even with only one member of staff on duty.

I put three because it’s a fair opinion on both together. The one on the high st is good except sometimes the quality of the products lets it down. Whereas the one on the shambles is excellent every time

Basic review, hot chocolate was okay and cake was great. My disappointment was in the service. I felt upbeat on having the first week off since March, decided to treat myself. But when I gave my order, I felt judged when I told them that I didn't have the track and trace app. I haven't been anywhere to warrant getting it, and I'm more than happy to leave my details. I wash my hands and use so much antibac my hands are raw, I wear a mask all the time, I keep my distance from everyone - I'm so careful. I even apologised and offered to download the app but they shrugged me off and told me to write my details on a piece of paper. I had no thank you, no goodbye. It just felt like they wanted me to leave. I made such an effort to be friendly and polite... They were either judging me or their customer service was none existent. If I don't download the app, that's MY CHOICE. It's no reason to presume that I'm not being safe.

Staff friendly, love sitting in the window and people watching. Good distance between tables downstairs (haven't been upstairs). Still in takeaway cups only which is sad but otherwise a lovely visit.

Even though the new procedures are well laid out I do feel the tables are far to close together. The staff seemed to be half a sleep with a half empty store.

Pop up for a large latte this morning and apparently I get it was a flat white. My order was not check back to me, so assuming got it right.

We nearly always use the Nero on the Shambles in Worcester because the staff are very friendly. Nero hot chocolate is the best.

Cafe Nero Worcester. I know we shouldn't be here but.. during the virus you make take a seat. Paperless cups and contact less payment. Good friendly prompt morning service from the bearded barista when I visited the city. The coffee bar looks compact when walking down The Shambles and becomes deceptively spacious indoors with wooden upstairs seating.

Another amazing Cappuccino from Aarron. Even from a paper cup he makes a fantastic drink! Totally recommend the coffee here and really well run store overall.

They no longer accept cash so I got my coffee for free! But couldn't complain that they added milk to a black coffee! Also won't be returning until they accept cash again. Can sit in.

Just a weird question. Since lockdown there is a light switched on non stop in kitchen/ stick room. Does it make a sense to waste energy and money.

Honestly where do I start the worst experience I’ve had at any coffee shop. Staff not listening to what my order was, watery drinks. The second drinks where just as watery and went all over the table. They where crashing around with the washing up meaning we couldn’t have a proper conversation. I’ve worked in hospitality for twenty years. Including barista training and get declined for people like this

I visited the Cafe Nero 30 The Shambles Worcester on 23 November 2019 at just after 8am whilst waiting the shops to open. There was a good selection of drinks standard priced. There was free Wi-fi also. Good place for an early drink on a Saturday morning.

Too many screaming kids belonging to truly awful mother who took over the cafe.

Both of these in the area have staff that are slow, passionless. That reflects in the quality of their service. Both take ages to serve you and don’t clear tables to keep up with demand. It says on their website they put the customer at the heart of everything they do 🤔

Relaxing atmosphere, great service

We always use a Caffè Nero if we find one when out and about. They are always consistent. Strong latte very good. Pastries always delicious too Don’t understand the reviews by Jon M who seems to say strange and confusing and conflicting remarks!

Great coffee but a bit stronger for my taste

I don’t know what to make of these two. Both can be good and both can have bad days. Unfortunately when they are normally very good. Normally I give 5 stars. Hopefully they will get better
