I have been in the glovers a couple of time recently and always had a friendly reception but I wanted to leave a review as twice this month a member of staff (Katie) has gone above and beyond for the customers she is always happy, and cleaning up and making sure the customers are happy, asked if we needed condiments with our meal and checked back to make sure everything was ok

Came here for euros final. got decent crowd and a few tv screens. overall recommended

For a local sports pub I was pleased. friendly customers welcoming staff food is really well priced tasted good and we didn't have to wait long. Will be popping back in soon.

Glovers is a standard chain local. It has a nice presentation and the food is standard greene king fair so you can't expect much. Has the all amenities required and is tastefully decorated, the lovely and helpful staff are what make it good. Wish there were some 0% or low percentage lagers.

This pub is really a little gem. The staff from walking through the door until leaving are first class in every way. Nine of us (including a baby) met here (aging parents live in Warndon) as we are a family scattered all over the country and wanted an early Christmas celebration, which we truly had. The festive menu was perfect and something for everyone. Value for money is really an understatement! The attention to detail was unexpected from past experiences in other pubs for their festive offerings. We all had the most amazing day, and it really will be hard to beat! A huge thank you to all the team for being a part of our family making more special memories!

Took family for lunch. Nice quiet dining area. Very attentive and friendly staff. Great value for money as we're on a tight budget. Food was plentiful and delicious. We'll go again soon.

called in for 1st time with my son yesterday for a lunch beer. Looked busy and beers were ok. He had a steak for lunch, but worst I have ever seen, he had to leave 50%. Full of gristle and was inedible. Doubt it was actually steak looked more like stewing meat with heavy sinune in it & mishapen. So Frank our beer & left 1st time & last for me, lots of other places to eat in Worcester.

Great food and staff very polite

Had an all day brekke a few days ago. Man serving us was lovely. i hate chips anyway and they were on the plate, rather have hash browns but heyho. Noticeably the menus and sauce bottles were wiped clean - well done. You order at the bar here. Coffee is REALLY nice here so options to use as a morning tea. Nice and calm here at midday

Great pint of thatcher haze only downside of the pub is the main toilets were out of use but apparently its due to drain issues

Recently popped in for some lunch whilst I was on a break, lady who served me was lovely and food came out so quick. I had the cheese and onion sub roll with some chips but didn't need the chips as the roll was really filling.

We had a lovely welcome by the friendly staff here. They helped to tailor my meal which was great! The food came quickly, freshly cooked and made to order. Try combining the burgers of chicken and beef with chilli cheese poppers, curry sauce and onion rings! My son loved the fish and chips as did my husband the gammon and eggs all Delicious 😋 the apple pie and ice cream afterwards went down a real treat on a hot day. Thank you all, will be back soon!

What's not to like? Cheap beer, loads of space and pleasant staff. Someone told me ot to come here, glad I didn't listen.

Lovely Sunday lunch. Was served by two ladies who were very friendly and helpful. Food was lovely as always and was a great deal with 2 for £11.49 on roast dinners.

Quiet pub in the evening, we didn't try the food but got served very quickly by the lovely staff here.

We went today for a family celebration and I have to say from entering the pub right up until leaving the experience was perfect! The food was delicious, atmosphere lovely, staff amazing, clean and comfortable, what more could you ask for?! Thank you so much. Highly recommend!

Me and my friends really enjoyed our festive booking last week, food was lovely and hot, table looked amazing and Christmas songs playing too. Will definitely book again next year. Thankyou and hope the team has a lovely Christmas.

Lauren did Amazing as the grinch the kids had so much fun lots of laughter! Tammy the elf was amazing as well as the whole glovers team! Always go above and beyond. We had such a great time we ended up staying most of the evening! Great atmosphere, always feel welcome! Food was brilliant and drinks of course! :)

Visited this pub quite a few times, all staff are very friendly and welcoming and will go above and beyond for anyone, great atmosphere. Food is also amazing, presented well and always tastes great, will deffo be returning in a hurry.

Good pub, spoilt only by 1 member of staff by disliking my partner which in turn means disliking me ,it is very clicky and people are not treated fairly

Went here on sat 5 November 2022 for a family birthday meal. Booked because it is a dog friendly pub. We received a warm welcome from the staff Abby, Tammy and chef Sue. Food was first rate and prices extremely reasonable. Would definitely go again.

A great pub with great service and food

Served by the lovely Lauren today. Everything has really improved since Matt has taken helm of the ship, he does an amazing job at keeping it ship shape.,, staff moral has gone thro the roof and food loads better and locals seem to enjoy the atmosphere immensly

Come to the pub a lot the staff are always lovely and friendly the owner a great guy one member of staff definitely stand out the most for her charming and funny character and her always willing to help which all the staff do but she definitely stands out is the lovely Lauren a great member of the team definitely worth visting this pub

Me and my partner ended up in Glovers Needle for Halloween and had an absolutely fab night. Everyone was in fancy dress, aswell as us! The disco was great! All the staff were really friendly and very welcoming, especially Shanni and Lauren!

Recently visited this pub to keep warm and dry whilst I was out and about working in the community. The team were really friendly and allowed me to use the facilities to charge my laptop. If ever I'm in area again I will definitely be back. Thankyou.

Normally the food is great we are regulars but today the gammon smelt like metal and the peas and tomatoes were rock hard not cooked properly and the eggs tasted like they were cooked hours ago.

Just had a fantastic meal here and compliments to Nate and Sue. They were absolutely brilliant as I have got a Defence Discount Service card for serving in the Armed Forces and they accepted it with no questions asked. Would recommend any Forces member to visit the Glovers Needle as the staff are so friendly and helpful.

Shocking experience. Food cold, rude staff toilets were disgusting. Pint was warm. Staff just stood around doing nothing. What are you actually paying them to do to give this poor example of food and service. Will not be returning

Rude member of staff, only 1 on duty, waiting to be served drinks and be told where to sit for our food, we had booked in online, she was serving regulars before us, even though she could clearly see I was on crutches and probably needed to sit down, when I leant over to mention that we should have been next she just said "no he was next" and served a guy who had just walked over to join his friends! Not at all happy, decided to leave and went elsewhere to spev nd our money! Very poor customer service, no eye contact, no"i will be with you next" I used to do mystery shopping in bars shops etc and worked in customer service for years, 0 out of 10 for this experience.

Me and lin stopped in for a snack, me the steak and onion doorstep, plenty of steak cooked to high standard, lin had the fish finger doorstep, more than enough food cooked by sue in the kitchen, the hand of chips was adequate for us both to share with what we ordered, served by Layla who was very attentive and looked after us well, we will be back with no doubts, lovely food and staff 5⭐️

Was served by layla, she was soo polite and friendly! Had food cooked by sue and it was absolutely beautiful steak was cooked perfectly kids food was lovely too! Cheap prices! The pub itsself was spotless! Would highly recommend!

Came here with the family, enjoyed a nice alcoholic drink in the garden, they have a wide range of lilleys cider which i love. Me and the partner had gammon and eggs and it was spot on👍🏼 Props go to Abby, Tammy, Claire and Sue

Stopped off for a quick meal whilst doing a long drive home, friendly staff and lovely pub grub. Definitely worked out better value for us than the take away we were originally going to have when we eventually got to the end of our long journey. Looked like a lovely pub with good things to keep everyone entertained, sports of TV, pool table, dart board etc - wish we could have stayed longer and had a few drinks too

Clean pub, family friendly, really helpful staff, wide choice of food freshly cooked and speedily served. Big car park and lots of different activities of an evening. Would highly recommend a visit to Nate and his team.

I have just had a really good Halloumi wrap! I have eaten veg that I don't usually appreciate, red peppers, however it was delicious!

Average local nothing to write home about had a coke it was watery

The owner was rude, aggressive and arrogant. Would not recommend. Not covid safe at all

We have just moved into the area (myself, partner and 2 small children) and have driven past a few times but today decided to try it out. We were greated and seated very swiftly by a very polite gentleman who let us get settled and then came and took our drink order. The drinks arrived via a very friendly barmaid who took our food order and after a very short wait time the food was in front of us. The food was incredible (hunters chicken sub, chicken mix and children's burger meal). It was presented beautifully and tasted amazing!! Overall fantastic service, top quality food and amazing prices. Will definitely be eating here again.

We enjoyed a 3 course fantastic Festive meal. The food was really tasty, very filling and reasonably priced. My son went large for the extra £1 and his meal was massive!! Our table was beautifully decorated and Christmas songs were playing.We were served by Nate, Sam & Claire and they were fantastic,very friendly and made sure we enjoyed ourselves.We really enjoyed our afternoon and went away Absolutely stuffed!

Good fun, miserable customers who think it's ok to not wear a mask or better still have to be told 30 times to PUT ONE ON!!!! Staff dealt with hard times very well and alone as male manager was missing in action.Well done girls Carly as always amazing

After a few hard weeks of lockdown, and work!! just that release of food and good company was needed. Keeping to the rules visited my local, great service from Amy made for a great afternoon of food and a couple of drinks and sport much needed! Thank you.
