Best town venue by far. Wonderful staff and the resident DJ is amazing.

Terrible place to take business associates. Very dirty front of house and glasses still had lipstick on. Cheap drinks to go with the cheap decor. Definitely NOT worth a visit if you are in Worcester. O’Neils or the Slug are much better options for classy company and friendly staff.

Stopped in for a swift one on my birthday celebrations. They hadn't been open very long, so it was quiet, but this suited us just fine! Very reasonable prices and really friendly barman. Did seem to be more blokes than women when it started getting busier, so I did feel slightly out of place, but like I say, we were only there for a quick drink anyway. A good experience overall and I'd return again!

Well. This was a surprise to us. A very lively bar. Full of party folk. We were amused all night. Very friendly doormen and everyone having a great time. No trouble. Drag bingo was fun. Naked butlers serving our drinks to our table was quite a treat. We won’t forget our visit. That’s for sure. Would I came back?? Hell yeah.

Went to watch the boxing , got served a pint at 8.30 by 8.35 it was as flat as a pancake. I asked the lady behind the bar for a different glass as the Carling glasses are notorious for making the drinks go flat, she said no and I’d have to go and get it changed on the other side . Normally not a problem but when the bar is packed of people waiting to be served its an issue when trying to watch the boxing

Stopped off here before the rugby but would have definitely stayed longer. Draught beer was good and the food was excellent quality and a reasonable price. All of the staff were friendly and professional. Well done

Tried to go in for a few drinks with my partner as it's his 21st but was turned away because of joggers he was wearing which was not displayed anywhere for us to know this and was told he could wait outside which I disagreed with, some people don't go out every weekend so to buy jeans for one night a year when they don't wear them is stupid I won't be coming again which is disappointing as I also had a room booked for my 21st but as my partner can't attend I won't be needing it

Such a bizarre place. Men can’t wear shorts, not even chino style but women can wear short shorts (obvs) then a bloke walks in wearing scruffy work gear, beer is bleurgh and no atmosphere. 21 years since I was here last and probably another 21 years till I go again. Just don’t understand what it is offering people, a very loud quiet night! Door staff are nice though

We almost forgot we were in lockdown having a few drinks in this excellent venue. The security staff were as friendly as they ought to be but more so in getting us a table at a busy time. Live music was an absolute blessing (Friday night) and the place was rocking. Bar staff were very active meaning there was no wait for drinks. Great atmosphere and thanks to all

Food good, the staff were friendly though they had no coffee for patrons. Lacked the atmosphere of their Nottingham restaurant.

Went in during England vs Wales 6 nations-received the worst service in a long time. Over 20 minutes for a drink and when it did come was in the wrong glasses and flat. Understand a staff member had let them down but 2 members of staff for a game that size wouldn’t have been enough. No apology for the wait or the service either.

The one in Nottingham is better. Quality of burgers is lower than expected. Selection is good. If you expect same as in different place, might be disappointed

Couldn’t decide where or what to eat so as passing decided to give them a try. Cheap beer and a good selection. Annie’s burgers is part of the pub so thought we’d give them a try. Can’t fault the meal or the quantity. Service was also really good with a special mention to rob our server. Give it a try.

Lovely food, awesome burgers; to die for. The majority of the bar staff are good and attentive, although some are a little more interested in staring in to space than actually serving you. Jamie is brilliant, always brings a smile and Rob is ready to serve you straight away when he is on the bar. Liam the Chef is fantastic at his job, fast service, well presented and tastes amazing. The only reason for a loss of a star is the atmosphere sometimes, it needs more families (maybe a bigger variety on food?) They don't provide offers for pensioners or students but their portions are extraordinary for the modest price and the burgers are some of the best in Worcester.

This is an interesting combination: a Marston's pub with the food provided by a Annie's Burger Shack which has two other outlets in the Midlands. It is a spacious pub which has recently been refurbished. There is a wide range of beers, wines and cocktails at reasonable prices. The food focuses on burgers but they are a stunning range and all can be done in veggie or vegan options.Portions are very generous!The staff are very friendly and helpful. Rob helped us organise a very successful group meeting here. Conner was extremely welcoming and helpful on the night.

Two recent experiences. First, I arranged a meeting here for a group. Rob was extremely helpful in making all the arrangements and everyone was so happy that we are now making it our regular venue. On the night, Connor was extremely welcoming and helpful. We liked the food so much that I returned with my family at the weekend. There is a good variety of drinks at reasonable prices including some excellent cocktails and a very good range of beers and wines.

Came here on a Saturday mid afternoon to try it out, was greeted by a lovely guy at the door he was actually very helpful and pleasant, sat down was surprised on the amount of options on the menu, they all sounded great went up to order food at an empty bar may I add (not a problem) untill it came to ordering the drinks as you have to do them separately, the bar man got mine completely wrong, I did say several times but I was ignored so gave up and just settled for what I got, my brother then went to order as we was paying separate, as we had just done for the food but the bar man decided to walk off and start serving a very large group of loud rowdy men that walked in mid ordering, so he ended up waiting for 10 minutes even though we was first and mid way through our order and it would of just been for 1 drink not like the several points and shots they ordered, anyway we sat down and after a fue minutes food came, it was cold and the bun was freezing and the side were just soggy from oil, I had a chicken burger and it was so dry and bland you could tell it was cooked from frozen not from freesh, no napkins or cutlery was brought over either witch was rather annoying and messy and the table still hadn't been cleaned from the previous customers, one of the burgers was missing sauce as they had run out and wasn't told until halfway through our food, when they did check if everything was okay we was almost done with our food as we was just that hungery we didn't want to wait another 30mins+ for someone to come over and wait for fresh food as we had to leave due to driving back home, when we told our friend we had gone there as we are not from the area he said we shouldn't of as it's gone down hill alot since it opened, if only we found out sooner!!!! Then we could of saved some money i would definitely say it's more of a lads pub for sport than for "speciality burgers" as there was no diners just lads drinks and been loads.

It's called Annie's now. I was there for the volun meet and greet other volunteers for the Worcester Music Fest, and the bar boy was so nice and the lime and soda was free of charge!

Dirty toilets and door frames. Burgers good but fries and wedges poor. Can't make its mind up to be restaurant or bar. Better burgers at the arches, better bar at the King Charles

Went at about 1.15pm on a Sunday, half of us bad ordered, to then be told that unfortunately they hadn't defrosted enough burgers, so we all had to have chicken or veggie burgers. To be honest the choice of burger toppings and sides were amazing, but the chicken was a bit dry and kind of ruined my experience. I feel like the main disappointment was due to the lack of burgers, and the fact the menu states that the burgers are made fresh that day, which obviously is false.

Good food, poor lighting and drink selection

Courtyard during the day is Annie's, and the food is amazing, large quality portions. The barstaff are friendly but the whole concept of the venue being owned by two different companies doesn't work. The cocktails we ordered were quickly made, great taste and I feel for the bar staff because they are hired to work in a bar and instead work in half a bar and half a restaurant. The nightlife scene is dismal now. Before, they had a great DJ weekly, and the cocktail menus were class and it was a wonderful start to a night out. Now they have crappy bands in, and all the lights are kept on on a Friday night. The only thing that hasn't changed is the doorstaff, who are brilliant. Courtyard is still good for their cocktails but to save their nightlife, they need someone in to revamp it and bring it back, get rid of the crap bands, bring back a DJ and proper lighting set up and get a brand new cocktail menu in and open up the right hand bar so people get served quicker and there's more variety around. It's a shame such a gorgeous building just isn't being used properly.

Amazing place and the food is fabulous

The food was excellent, I had the vegan chicken & waffle burger and my partner had the New England, both were delicious! The portions are enormous be prepared!! (We had to take a doggy bag home). The only improvements that could be made, separate wait staff for the eating sections (we had to ask for the doggy bag 3 times because the bar staff were swamped) and condiments on the table!

So good!! Can't wait to go back!

Not great I'm afraid. Firstly, it's location isn't ideal as it's in the corner of a pub that was full of drunken football hooligans which instantly made the atmosphere sour. There was around 15 of us dining and the burgers came out 2 at a time, at 4/5 minute intervals meaning the first person either had to wait to eat it cold or eat without waiting for others. The portion sizes are big which is good but the quality of food just isn't there. Stale bun, cold burger, sugary relish. Finally, the staff receiving payment were on the bar, meaning they were under the pressures of the drinkers which rendered them rude and unhelpful. All in all, if you want a cheap burger and then a load of beers with the lads this place is perfect but as a restaurant or gourmet burger place, I'll stick to Hanbao.

Went here to celebrate a birthday with family and to watch the football. Not bad with quite a good atmosphere. Only downside was the ales were not on which only left the usual to choose from.

Brilliant menu, amazed that any burger can be made vegan! Really impressed... I hope that the business continues to grow and gives Worcester another individual live music venue.

A Marston's pub which is still in its American style. Huge range of American burgers. Usually a good range of real ale but only one on when I visited. The music is excellent, modern dance style.

Average city centre bar. Very slow service. Food is average. Could be so much better.

Bar owner went out of his way to put on the rugby match we wanted to watch despite majority of the customers wanting to watch soccer. He brought us to a booth where he fixed a private Tv to the rugby game which we appreciated. Really friendly staff. Five stars from two happy irish customers

The food has always been great here and I feel you get your money's worth. It's annoying that you have to pay for your drinks and food separately though.... The staff during the quieter periods have always been pleasent. Not quite sure about the atmosphere (or lack of) though... Is it a gig venue? Is it an old man's pub? Or is it somewhere to go for cheap pre-drinks?

Had some of the worst customer service of my life here regarding the food. The overly aggressive older lady behind the bar messed up all of the orders on our table and then became super aggressive and rude when we tried to explain what was wrong. None of us were rude or impolite however she treated us all like she was telling us off, ranting that everything that had been sent to us was exactly what we ordered from her despite many items being missing or the entire order being wrong. She even shouted at one of us while refuting that extra onion rings were not ordered when they had indeed been payed for. Eventually we managed to get a different waitress to help us out who was very nice and tried her best to correct every one of the multitude of mistakes however even then my own meal had to be brought out three times and one of us ended up not getting their meal until long after we’d all finished, with only a free drink offered. That late meal, much like many of the others was undercooked and not worth the money paid, and resulted in food poisoning for that particular friend. In short, they messed up every order we had, the stressed older waitress was very aggressive and rude toward us, and when the food finally did arrive it was of low quality- with some elements seemingly from Iceland- and resulted in at least one bout of food poisoning. I would not wish this establishment on anyone and I for one will never go back there. I suggest you all avoid until some vast improvements are made, or better yet go to Iceland and make it yourself for a third of the cost.

The title says it all. The bar staff were inattentive, slow and dozy. Couldn't change a barrel and had half the taps and pumps not working. Took ages to be served and they had no manners or customer service skills. There were a lot of tv to watch rugby tho was a plus point.

Lively bar to visit in Worcester town center that is with in walking distance from the train station and bus station. Prices are reasonable but not the cheapest around.

Maybe its good at night when packed but i thought when popped in the other afternoon its a right dump.Such a shame years ago as the packhorse it was the place to go.Nice friendly barmaid but is one of the most expensive places in city for drinks.Will carry on walking past in future.

Really overpriced drinks and poor service. No ice or lemon offered for gin and tonic and one of the pints was poured into a plastic cup. Not good enough when prices are high. Very dissapointed .
