I have been coming here for 5 years and can honestly say it is the best place to grab a coffee and something light to eat in Worcester. It is incredibly family-friendly and the menu has something for everyone from children's beans on toast to substantial toasties perfect for Lunch. There is also an impressive choice of drinks on offer. The homemade cakes and bakes always look delicious, it would be rude not to have one (even at 9 am after breakfast). The service is always fantastic and friendly and it feels like you're going to a friend's house to enjoy some good food and relax. The play area is great for smaller children with a nice selection of books and games to keep them busy. It's very reasonably priced and I believe one of the best value independent places in Worcester.

Auntie Ems' is the best tea room in Worcester. The brownies / blondies are the best I've ever had. We come here for lunch almost every time we visit Worcester. The staff are also lovely. Totally recommend!

Such a shame, great idea to have play area inside coffee shop BUT NO HEATING on snowy day. Asked staff (all completely disinterested in customers or their jobs) if they could put the radiator on.....they didn't know how too! Really?!. Notices on tables asking customers not to sit for too long over a cuppa as they are a small business, which I totally agree with. However, is that their ploy.....to stop you lingering too long....IT WAS FREEZING. All customers sat in there kept coats on, not very child friendly is it...if too cold to take their coats off!!! Such a shame, crunchie brownie was ok, small coffees though. Definitely WONT be back. Too much competition in Worcester.

I'm a local mum looking for places to take my little one and I wouldn't recommend taking my LO here. The staff are not very engaging in comparison to other local coffee shops which have play areas, the toys are very tired and could do with a refresh, and inside is very cold - we had to leave our coats on (I dont feel like children/babies should be cold inside). It's an ok space but I feel there are better options in Worcester and Droitwich and wouldn't recommend to other parents.

A great idea for a tea room, seating right next to play area means you can actually enjoy a coffee while children play. Good coffee & lunch with quick service. We visited on a really cold day and it was absolutely freezing inside too! I could actually see my breath inside it was so cold. Both my children were shivering after about half an hour and most adults and children were sat in coats. I’m not sure if there was a problem with the heating but nothing was mentioned by the staff. It was so cold we couldn’t stay any longer and had to go and warm up in some shops! Would return if heating is sorted!

Popped into Auntie Em’s whilst visiting the Victorian Fayre. We ordered hot pork rolls with stuffing and apple sauce (they don’t scrimp on the filling) and a Baileys hot chocolate. Both were absolutely gorgeous and piping hot. Will definitely try the pigs in blankets panini when we next visit. Would highly recommend 😍

The brownie was dry and latte not well-made. Just a bit more staff training would be needed to get the food and drink up to scratch. My friend's child seemed to enjoy the play area although the table we were placed at was not clean. We won't return again but the fact that this cafe is so child friendly is an attraction.

i discovered this little gem when i move to worcester last year and have been a regular customer with my young kids. We go for breakfast every week or 2 and often spend £15-20 each time. I popped in today for a quick cup of tea and was disappointed to be told quite rudely that there was a minimum £5 spend if i wanted my child to use the play area. This tea room always felt a safe space, run by mums for mums, but to learn that costs will no prohibit popping in for a quick cup of tea while my kids play is disappointing. I understand that you can't sit and nurse a cup of tea for hours, but perhaps a policy regarding buying a drink for everyone there, or a maximum time in the play area? I hope this business plan doesnt mean that there will be another independent tea room shutting.

I’ve ordered a hot chocolate and the first thing I was asked was where I was going to sit as it was “full”, but clearly there were seats available so I’ve found a table and sat anyway despite her look of discontent towards me. The table was dirty and the least I expected was it to be cleaned after waiting for 15 minutes for the hot chocolate, whilst her staff was just wandering around completely ignoring me and the dirty table I was in. After waiting for what it felt like an eternity as I was with my baby on my lap, she served me the hot chocolate and only cleaned half the table leaving all the rest of foods and drinks behind. I didn’t even try the hot chocolate and decided to leave as I felt that was extremely rude. Needless to say I’m never coming back here ever again. Im only giving one star because it doesn’t allow me to give 0. Terrible.

I was in town with my boys when my baby decided he was fed up with the world so I stopped for an emergency break. My eldest was delighted to have a play area and made friends with a couple of girls. They played nicely while I enjoyed a beautiful slice of cake (Nutella and Biscoff, it's like they've looked straight into my heart!) and a cup of coffee. Will definitely visit again soon!

Nice place, food was good but I did almost feel like an inconvenience to the staff. Staff were wearing face masks but would pull them down to talk so kind of defeats the purpose of the mask. Wild return but would be nicer to have service with a smile :)

We stumbled upon this café which is conveniently situated in a walkway just off the High Street. We did not realise that it is mainly popular with young families, If we had looked a little closer that should have been obvious to us! We sat at a table on the ground floor while most of the play areas seem to be upstairs. Don't be put off by the emphasis on toys since we enjoyed our visit despite our advanced years! There is a varied menu with a tempting selection of cakes at the counter very reasonably priced. We would return.

Nice selection of bagle sandwiches on the menu and I like sitting in for brunch with a coffee when catching up with friends or partner. Comfortable space on site for eating in and location close to transport and station.
