Lovely setting and pleasant staff. Priced reasonable. We chose a double afternoon tea. The sandwich were really delicious and fresh. Lots of filling. The scone was hard, but I asked to change and got a delicious warm soft scone as a replacement. Lots of tea and moist light cake. Sensible afternoon tea, not too much cake.

Had a kebab n chips, was decent.

Quick service. Nice staff. We did not wait long for our hot food to be served

Food was spot on as always. Would recommend this place to anyone who is after a takeway. Good value for money for what you get. Staff are nice and the delivery bloke was nice too

Great food, but the drinks service could be more prompt.

The staff wore good smiles and were polite and kind. Like I said to them, their chips beats every other brand chips I’ve had. I had to go back with my husband to order for him and myself again (after just about 3 hours after my first single order)

Nice room, but shower did not work, and bath was a bit small

We called for lunch on a Tuesday, the pub was very quiet, in fact we waited 10 minutes until the landlord came into sight, but he was most apologetic for the wait, we both ordered the mixed grill, which was excellent, the steak and gammon were superb (quality meats & cooked to perfection) with 2 meaty sausages, a properly cooked egg ! Peas & mushrooms, the only thing was the fried chicken wings that unusually accompanied the mixed grill were overcooked and very salty, and it was served with frozen chips, the pub has recently been revamped and looked very good, we will be back, thank you

Great pizzas last week, always have a Mexicana and Margerita. Pizzas were hot and delicious, Mexicana had its usual 'spicy kick' . Delivered on time and great value.

Popped in on a random Tuesday lunchtime the place was empty but that didn't put us off the service was very good, food excellent selection of drinks was spot on and the main reason we went is how dog friendly they are so we could take our little pooch with us. Would definitely visit again

Well situated. Nice staff, especially for breakfast! The room was too hot, and no tumblers were provided for water. We could hear stairway footsteps throughout the night. The bathroom was very nice.

Nice setting. Shame dogs are not separated as there might be allergies etc only came in for a drink staff where nice. No complaints other than the dogs
