They were really nice and friendly, fresh dough and they add a lot of toppings.

Regular chips and large curry sauce: £4.40. The portion was huge and tasty. Staff were friendly.

Good food, friendly service and great value. We had cod and chips. The cod was freshly cooked and the batter crispy.

Everything is 10/10 just needs to strain off the oil more for an example the cod

Ordered a vegetarian pizza - mixed peppers, red onion, mushroom and sweetcorn. When arrived it was covered with jalapenos, no sweetcorn and what looked like just one mushroom cut up!! When we phoned, thinking that they'd delivered the wrong order, we were informed that it was correct and because they had run out of sweetcorn they'd taken it on themselves to swap it with the jalapenos and not just a few! We told the lady on the phone, that we don't like jalapenos and couldn't eat the pizza. She informed us that she'd tried to phone us but our phone was disconnected,- the one we were phoning on!! She then argued with us that it was totally ok to swap ingredients around whenever they felt like it. There was no problem with the pizza, we were being unreasonable She refused to replace or give a refund and then hung up. Not a nice lady. Will not recommend or ever use again.

Updating as new ownership, Agunun and love (apologies for spelling) are so friendly, told us about themselves and what they hoped to start making alongside the current foods and it sounds amazing, the food was delicious and cooked to order. Parking along street outside, Very happy with the change of hands :)

Never have I had bad fish from here. Haddock. Thin line of I presume fish. Thick black skin. Paid over 17 quid for delivery. No chips but salad tray. Ate few mouthfuls cos starving. Never again.

Had mixed meat kebab tonight, chicken had bad texture, very rubbery and fatty. In-edible in my opinion. So bad I returned it to store and complained and asked for a refund, which I was refused. After much debate and getting nowhere was offered pie and chips as the only alternative. And to no surprise , soggy, undercooked greasy chips and a luke warm pie.

S**t if i could of thrown it as his head i would of cheese on first burger and chilli on other burger and dident even refund for there mistake.

The food was nice, but what stood out for me was the staff and how they interacted with customers. Much friendlier than your typical chippy staff.

Absolutely disgusting food. The doner meat (if you could call it that) was so rubbery and undercooked, it looked raw. I didn’t risk getting food poisoning. The chips were really over done and weirdly were rubbery too, never had that before either. What a complete waste of money. Not to mention how slow the service was too. All went in the bin as I didn’t want to risk being ill. Also, the staff were constantly wiping their faces with their hands as it was so hot, scratching their heads and then touching people’s food. Do not recommend at all.

Nice cod and a large portion of chips, but appalling customer service. When we pointed out that they had omitted both mushy peas and curry sauce from a set-meal, they were rude and aggressive, claiming that a dollop of mayonnaise was a reasonable substitute for the curry sauce listed in the meal we ordered! Very disappointing as the batter was particularly nice and the girl who served us initially seemed friendly and helpful, but we'll not be returning.

Mixed meat kebabs are very nice, really enjoy the quality of the meats compared to others I've tried in Shrewsbury. The food is not drenched in oil and tastes fresh.

Burger was deep-fried, so didn't taste good. I was told it'd take 3 minutes, but despite being the only customer in the shop, it took about 15.

Stay well clear they charged me £2 for a buttered bap I had 2 so got charged £4. I had a portion of chips large sausage and 2 buttered baps When I phoned them to query the price they said Chips £2.80 L sausage £1.60 Which totals to £4.40 but I got charged £8.40 which when asked was the buttered baps. Disgusting never go there again 😡😡 £2 for bread roll with butter on is day light robbery. Other owners charged 50p

Leaving a 5 star review as I think this place deserves it, however I do have a bit of a complaint detailed later... The chips from this place are almost always fresh, not too greasy or overcooked and nice and chunky. The fish, pies and burgers are cooked to perfection and yet to have a bad one. The portion sizes are huge for the chips and we have only had one bad batch of chips over many many orders. Prices are more than fair too especially their box meals. Unfortunately though, the past 6 orders we have made through Just Eat 3 have arrived without their drinks. You can telephone the store directly and reach someone often busy and overworked who can only really offer you to collect the drinks in store (which defeats the purpose of a takeaway) or you can complain via Just Eat and get a refund for the whole box meal at £5.99 which just feels plain wrong over a can of pop or two... We ended up taking the refund only once as 5-6 missing drinks at £1.50 each add up to around £6-8 but it would be easy to abuse this and get all three orders refunded (we still felt wrong doing this as the food is more often than not fantastic). Please work on this guys as believe it or not, a can of pop is a rare treat and it is disappointing when it doesn't arrive.

Previously enjoyed their service, but up until late they have gone down in my eyes, not only are they rude and arrogant, also unreliable. Four times I called the number no answer and I've checked peak times so not really busy busy. The website is an absolute joke/ payment sector. I mean the foods good but I wouldn't give it five stars. Delivery is reasonable. I'd give FRYDAYS 3-3/1-2 ⭐'s

I pop into Frydays every few weeks for cod, chips and curry sauce. Always cooked to perfection and always cooked to order. Would rather wait 5-10 min for food that is freshly cooked. Chips are divine. They also serve kebabs, burgers, pies and pizza. Staff very friendly. They take card payments in store too.

Curry sauce was watery, vinegary and tastless, chips were just about edible but not great and way too many and sausage tasted undercooked and cheap, i ate half a sausage and a handful of chips... not happy for £6.20! Won't be back......

Quite a good chip shop with all your usual items on the menu but they also do pizzas and kebab's. They also now have a breakfast menu which I haven't tried but looks quite good value. They also have a specials menu with with two lunch box options which are a mini fish and sausage or just mini fish a pie box option a burger box option and a sausage box option. All these come with chips and your choice of curry beans or gravy except the burger box which has a can of drink.

Had fish and chips from here and, have to admit, it was one of the best cod that I have had in Shrewsbury. Crispy batter which is light, non greasy, and very tasty. Keep up the good work, I really enjoyed it and will certainly return.

Polite staff but fish & chips when we ate that home were very poor. One fish had been cooked a long time before and batter was inedible. Chips had no taste. They seem to be concentrating on Just Eat deliveries & not being a call in fish and chip shop. Will not return

Kebab in naan bread is really good

So much better than the last people to run this place. It is without question best chip shop in town. The battered cod or haddock is done to absolute perfection. Most chippies do soggy batter. These guys guarantee crispy batter. Every time. The chips are also perfect. They use the correct temperature oil and don't undercook them like many other places. You can tell that they care about the quality of their food and the cleanliness of their chippie. Great curry sauce too. 10/10
