Teignmouth has more than its fair share of boozers, really good to see when many pubs are closing down. This is a no-nonsense pub, right on the harbourside (and I mean RIGHT on the harbourside!). Bet it's lovely to sit outside on a sunny day. We were there on a rainy February night, and there was a band just warming up ready to play. Friendly bar staff. Cheap drinks.

Popped in for a drink and Wow! This pub has been very tastefully modernised, stylish but subtle from every aspect. Too much to explain, go se for yourself. There is also a games room and garden. Drinks were reasonably priced.

I was really pleased to find somewhere I could get gluten free fish & chips, we had some last night and it was very nice! Will definitely be back.

Excellent garden centre - especially the cafe is really fantastic! There’s a great selection of sweet and savoury foods. Lots of vegan choice and gluten free options too. The salads are so fresh and delicious and a great price - I really recommend these! The staff are super friendly and helpful. There’s plenty of seating, in the main cafe and shop, in a conservatory which looks nice, and outside surrounded by trees and a small play park for the little ones. The garden centre sells everything you would expect from homewares and gifts to good foods in the deli (there’s a butchers too) to some pets eg fish to of course plants and garden furniture. The way the flowers and plants are presented is very nice and I always come away with some inspiration. The plants from here are clearly well cared for as I’ve never had any issues and they continue to bloom well at home. Staff are helpful if you have questions. Beware it’s a one way system which can be a bit tricky to navigate if you’re less mobile and only want to visit the cafe or to go to the toilet before you leave - the exit is quite far away and you cannot exit through the entrance unless someone else comes in and opens the door for you!

Visited with my wife for coffee and cake that was advertised on a large poster outside. Was told the cake had sold out. This was 10 am in the morning. Had to wait for coffee while staff finished off their conservation. Poor customer service. Will not return. Much better independent coffee shops in town that value your custom.

Breakfast Bun with a friend at the Southbank. The bun was cold (frozen) in the middle, the sausage and tomato, even though it had been in the microwave. Afterwards felt a sickly taste in the mouth and gurgling stomach - probably was laced with sugar or artificial additives. Highly unhealthy. The lady who served us was rude short and nasty, why I have no idea. Views were very nice as always.

It is the worst rated Chinese takeaway in town, but I have to say some food that I had was actually pretty good and authentic. Good: egg foo young and chow mein. The meat was tender and juicy. Eggs were fluffy. Noodles were thin, crinkly, and saucy. Bad: fried chicken wings and fried rice.
