items missing from order, special instructions not followed, wrong items received and cold

Firstly one of the party was given calamari as a starter when the order was sweet & sour chicken. One of the mains was fish & chips. A child's portion would have been bigger & the fish looked like it was from a Birds Eye packet. Salad was inedible due to a disgusting dressing, the chips were dry & tasteless. Ordered a second drink & it never arrived.

I had grate service especially with jess she was behind the till and hasn't been there long but she was amazing and cute she remained calm and got our order correct

Lovely views over looking back beach , on a lovely sunny april afternoon only had drinks , found to be reasonably priced , they do food but didn't try this time , looking forward to trying on next visit, staff friendly and welcoming

Clean with polite and friendly staff. Well stocked choice of snacks and cakes. Excellent coffee choices Ideal location.

Haldon Forest is a great location for walks or cycling (non-cyclists and drivers look out for wayward bike riders) and afterwards for a breakfast or lunch at The Ridge Café. We all wish though that some more of the lunchtime meal offerings were available earlier, at least from 10ish. Would this really be a problem? The staff though are great, very cheerful and keen to help even when they are understaffed at the counter. If you’re planning to visit, just check the internet, maybe under Forestry England, for events, which seem to be on the increase, as it can get very very busy.

Popped in for a drink and Wow! This pub has been very tastefully modernised, stylish but subtle from every aspect. Too much to explain, go se for yourself. There is also a games room and garden. Drinks were reasonably priced.

I was really pleased to find somewhere I could get gluten free fish & chips, we had some last night and it was very nice! Will definitely be back.

Ok Costa it is just inside of asda which isn't unusual to me as I think it's a great use of space. Friendly staff quick service I will be back there again soon.

Staff at till is 10 years old gets order wrong wont read back what u have ordered and not very polite (I know his age as he's in my child's class). Chicken curry the chicken was freezing cold like they just put ready cooked chicken into the curry sauce and didnt cook the chicken. Mixed balls were freezing cold. Chips cold. Rang up to let them know to be showed at down the phone. Went down to the shop (2 mins walk from my house)to yet again be shouted at by this lady telling me the food was boiling hot, I told her to probe it with a thermometer and she told me I wasnt welcome in the shop any more (not these words, very rude and aggressive), a lovely man came out and brought me a fresh curry and let me feel the chicken 1st which was very hot and I was happy, the lady then said to me I am not replacing the balls. I told her to give them back to me and I will take to food safety, the man again came and and said I will cook u fresh balls. While waiting this lady still kept shouting at me while other customers in the shop, 1 customer tried to tell the lady she was being rude and didnt have customer service skills.

Waited an hour and a half just to have our order cancelled and so late most other places had shut. Cheers guys.

Nice clean store..good deli dept..with a fish monger & butcher..

It is the worst rated Chinese takeaway in town, but I have to say some food that I had was actually pretty good and authentic. Good: egg foo young and chow mein. The meat was tender and juicy. Eggs were fluffy. Noodles were thin, crinkly, and saucy. Bad: fried chicken wings and fried rice.

Super slow service. Seem very disorganised and lacking leadership

Fantastic food, a lovely view and the service was really good. Well priced for the location. There is a separate kids menu too. Facilities were clean. Will definitely visit again 😊
