Disappointed- ordered salt and pepper chips received this. Other dishes were okay

Whilst not particularly busy, the atmosphere and food were excellent. Our server was friendly and helpful, but when it was time to pay….we waited. We kept waiting. And it occurred the restaurant was now empty and we had a difficult time finding someone to pay ie, catching their attention. In the end, I did get up and walk over to nab a guy, and he did bring our bill, with no interaction. Kinda strange end to a lovely lunch.

Traditional pub, owner landlord and lady, a little tired décor but outweighed by the welcome and friendly staff. Good value, tasty homemade pub grub. Thoroughly enjoyed our evening meal served in the garden. Good range of ales.

Just pop to have hot chocolate at Costa Yevoil, one of the staff She was totally in the other world, telling don’t understand your accent asked for some eggless dessert.. totally unpleasant behaviour but other hand another staff she was so nice after that she helped it out. I want to give service 5 star just for her.. thank you so much.

This place looks beautiful inside, the decor is fabulous, although it was freezing inside. The food was terrible, out starters came and we had to send one of them back as it was cold, the chicken was so dry. The mains weren’t much better, service miserable, most staff on their phones, not attentive and didn’t deserve the service charge that was put on our bill. We won’t be going back in the future. What a waste of money.

Not satisfied at all. The worst food that i had in my life. Chicken not cooked properly. Even they are giving free of cost I don't want to eat anymore.

food was freezing and soggy worse I've ever had

the Honey Spiced Chicken is really nice only sometimes the chicken is a bit tough(overdone) so tasty though have to put up with it.

Food was incredible and was worth the price

Absolutely brilliant. Two other friends came with us and that was no problem. The food was excellent. Great starters, a good size, well presented and delicious. Main meals were also excellent, the liver was gorgeous, very tender. The cod was a good size and perfectly cooked. Desserts were also spot on, a lovely cheese board as well. The service was also spot on, friendly and helpful. Five out of five from us.

First trip to Yeovil stopping off on the way back home from Cornwall. We bought a salt and black pepper loaf I can honestly say it was delicious. I’m so sad I live to far away from Yeovil to buy every week.

We were staying in a local b and b and had a take away from here. Order was very quick. Hot and fresh. Would go back again if in the area.

It is great when you find somewhere of a high standard, to eat and support local people rather than multinationals. We loved this little find but our last experience left us not impressed HOWEVER THEN we heard there were new owners really committed so thought great let’s go back - which we did today after travelling 200 miles ( we do this trip fairly regularly but have had a break) to be greeted at 11.30 just the end of breakfast - so we were given the lunch menu - that seemed fine. On ordering we were told lunch did not start until 12. Whilst we accept there is a changeover and the person serving did ask if we could have breakfast we were told it was only lunch at 12. Sadly had we been informed “let me take your order and you will be first at 12” we would have waited. We were told we could only have cake or a cheese scone. Really disappointing as were wanting a meal and we would have been real advocates. We decided that the approach could have been a little more engaging and supportive. You have sadly just lost 2 advocates who are always committed to spreading the word. I wish you much success in your buisness and the future but we won’t sadly be back despite the lovely food. For us it’s the whole experience.

Placed an order at 18:27 which stated it would be here by 18:55, spoke to the restaurant at 19:10 who told me my order had left the restaurant and would be 10-15 minutes. Then spoke to the restaurant again at 19:35 as still no sign of the food. Got a call from an unknown number at 20:15 from the delivery driver who told me he had just picked up my order and would be there within 10 minutes. Food arrived at 20:25. Just 1hr and 58 mins after placing the order. Terrible service.
