Mortimers Bakery in South Somerset

First trip to Yeovil stopping off on the way back home from Cornwall. We bought a salt and black pepper loaf I can honestly say it was delicious. I’m so sad I live to far away from Yeovil to buy every week.

It's OK, sometimes service could be better

Always the better choice for a wholesome meal on the go. Warm and filling Cornish pasties and sausage rolls.

Best bread in town, used to get a loaf of bread every Saturday back when I still lived in Yeovil. Moved 150 odd miles away about 15 years ago, and still, every time I visit family I make sure to go get some bread and some lemon doughnuts from here!

Yum! absolutely delicious hot Cornish pasty and Chicken curry slice it all looked very tasty will definitely be back good prices and a friendly lady.

I was in rush so popped in here Instead of making the 3 minute detour to a decent sandwich shop. I appreciate that businesses are struggling at the moment but to put just half a slice of wafer thin ham in your so called sandwich is taking the mick. With people queuing out the doors of the other two options you guys clearly need to rethink your offering. I won’t be shopping with you again.

I find the pastry products really dry. It's almost like they have been rushed and no care taken into them.

My wife's sandwich contained some very tired lettuce, manky cucumber and it looks as if some staff are not using gloves when handling food. Won't be coming here again in a hurry.

The shop windows look so unappealing when I walked past the shop in Dorchester. They had meringues, ginger bread men and nest cakes that look very highly processed. I have had sauages rolls in the Yeovil store and they are very salty. I would really like to support a local business but I'm not wasting my money.

Pasties taste like they've been frozen and warmed up Yuck..will definitely be going to the cake box on wessex Road from now on!
