The best restaurants in Gloucester South West

Went to be 3rd in the queue. Had a long wait to be served 2 people available to serve. One a trainee who was as doing the wash up area and the other a regular member of staff was only one doing drinks etc. the trainee did not at any point whilst we were waiting cleared any of the dirty tables. Nor did she serve any customers, though later she did as the other staff member left the cafe to go down stairs where apparently there was someone doing paper work. Really

Food is good and worth the price, big portions and the service is very good and quick. The two guys were very lovely and it has a nice atmosphere. Best kebab ive had in Czechia!!!

Coffee is bitter, tastes burnt so is undrinkable. Rest of experience is fine. Expensive. Pre packaged food.

He didnt deliver the food .. telling some bad words and run away

Popped in after the Bristol Half Marathon. For a roast dinner, we were amazed with the atmosphere and greeted by the best staff. We had Callum and Ella as our servers and they’d always ensure everything was okay and ensured everything we wanted was able to be got for us. We was staying in the holiday express across the road literally a 3” second walk away which made life easy. We all ordered the Sunday trip as we didn’t know what meat to choose from and we was met with the best roast dinner ever. The chefs I take my hats off too as the spring onion mash and the cauliflower cheese as extra was outstanding. Can’t wait for my next visit.

We went to this lovely pub today, been going for years . Had a mixed grill, the food was lovely and piping hot. The staff are very polite and go out their way to help you out. Returning in few months for another round. Absolute great pub 👌

Pointless advertising the petrol station being open at 6am because it's not even open at 7am. This has happened on many occasions in which they don't put a sign up to say why but hey ho every review helps

Popped in for a quick drink at lunch time, service was great as usual special mention to Chic and Anna for laughing at my jokes

Most of the order was missing; upon calling the restaurant, we were told by the manager that he would contact the driver; some 30 minutes later and a further call, we were told that the staff could not help at all as the manager was out on delivery. Nobody got back to us and no refund/credit. The part of the order that was delivered was cold. We have been using Khans regularly over a year, but will not be ordering again—appalling customer service.

We are on holiday in the area and l had my husband find a Hungry Horse, because l love the mix it up that is on the Menu. We booked a table and arrived on time. My husband ordered at the bar and got the drinks. I ordered a chicken skewers a jacket potato and coleslaw, my husband ordered a rump steak. Mine arrived first and the first thing l noticed was that it wasn't sizzling. My husband's steak arrived. Although it was on a sizzling plate, the vegetables weren't cooked, and it was watery because they were frozen. I took some of the chicken off the skewer and put on the plate, the whole thing was horrible. The jacket had been microwave Ed, the coleslaw was full of lumps, not shredded. My husband wanted his steak medium, and it was rare. All in all it was an experience not to be repeated.

Modern Indian restaurant. Good service, friendly waiters and excellent food. There were 4 of us for a meal. The food was very tasty and we were so full we didn't need desserts.

Had a lovely time with my partner, Sam, Luis, George and Finn have been excellent behind bar were efficient and extremely kind in assisting us in ordering ate drinks

All other diners at table had meals and finished before mine and even made its way to the table. You wouldn’t get this at pizza express just next door. Spend your money elsewhere
