Costa Coffee in Gloucester

Dogs allowed. It's a Costa. Not much more to say. However this one is dog friendly! Recommended if you pass with the pooch!

The best barista is definitely Kelly. She is so quick and you get exactly what you asked for. Brilliant.

Recieved my order, but the cream on my iced coffee was off and split. Ruined my whole drink.

Special mention to Adi , she’s lovely every time I go in there with her friendliness and positivity. Really makes a difference :)

Not happy as I wanted an almond croissant but a plain one got sent due to no almond left. So I paid the price of an almond croissant which is more but received a plain croissant and not even something extra.

The drink was not in good condition at all And took along time considering I’m to close to the shop

If you enjoy a Costa coffee and its range of food products then you are better going to Cross Keys roundabout or Old Log Pond. You will not be subjected to mindless chit chat, filthy surroundings and couldn't care less attitude. Should be a treat, not torture. AVOID

Cakes were stale. There was only 1 person serving doing great. The only thing good about the place

I went with my Nan around lunch time, as usual the tables were messy and full of food and crumbs. I ordered a salted caramel frappe and a women behind the counter started working on it then a few minutes later left it and started other orders, totally forgetting about it. By the time the rest of our food was ready they tried to just give us what my nan had ordered and forgot about my salted caramel frappe that was on the side in my sight, unfinished. I reminded them kindly about it and they kindly carried on making it, they gave it back to me and I went to sit down. When I took the first sip I realised there was no Carmel in it, this is a salted caramel frappe which is around £5! My Nan took it back up to tell them as it didn’t taste it and was clear it had none in it as a usual one has the caramel sauce all around the plastic cup, yet that was no where to be found. They said it was in there rudely, my Nan took it back up to me and said it’s clear it isn’t but to still drink it as it was expensive for a drink that was called a salted caramel frappe but had no salted caramel in it! Not happy.

Toastie was cold and soggy. Also MASSIVELY overpriced

The staff were excellent, friendly and welcoming and were happy to have a laugh. Food and coffee was awesome, fresh and great quality. Toilets were super clean too.

Filthy. Lots of staff but still a long queue? Five tables needed clearing and cleaning when I sat down on one of them. Eventually after chit chatting a member of staff cleared the table shut not one of them wiped down or given any attention other than that. Appalling! Floor needed a good sweep too but you could forgive that if it was heaving with customers and later in the day but it was warm and sunny and a lot of customers were sat outside. Much better use of time is needed by all who work there! I visited on Sat 7th October mid morning.

Polite, on time. Slight spilage on the drinks but the lid had not been put on properly.

It's Costa, it always works for me. The staff seemed a little stressed, but maybe I just got them on an off day.

took an hour to get 1 drink, a rocky road and a panini. I live in quedgeley also so didn’t understand what took so long for such a small order. Panini was stone cold, melted drink! Was a shambles and won’t be ordering again.

The biggest thing that let's this costa down is cleanliness, especially the toilets

Reliable Coffee and Snacks from Costa, new Brownie Mocha was good! Service here was fairly slow for an afterwork time as only one barista taking orders and making drinks.

Driver has delivered some one else’s order and is not answering his phone

1 member if staff waiting fir ever to get served. The lady was obviously under great strain. Consequently, the coffee was awful. This is not fair on your member of staff or your customers. If you don't improve there will be 2 customers who will no longer use your stores.

When I opened my block of flats door, I was welcomed with the driver having a go at me for my address. Saying I should of put flat/block. I said that is how the council put it, that isn’t my fault or problem. He didn’t bother to call myself to regard the issue. And was very rude to myself. I am not very pleased.

Found 6 big pieces of cardboard in my frappe! Assuming it was one large piece that got broken up in the blender, disgusting

Hmmmm, so Costa experience was OK. Service is a little slow and not great. Hot food was ready well before drinks, therefore no longer hot. Staff were overrun in turn the restaurant was full of uncleared tables (lazy customers - there was somewhere to put your trays). But in general, it was untidy, dirty and not very welcoming.

Abbey and the team are welcoming, friendly and really efficient. It's always a pleasure to have my coffee here.

My coffee had spilled and wet the bag, I was sent apple juice when I paid for orange and I asked the driver to leave it on the step, but he called me anyway and interrupted my meeting

The staff are always friendly, welcoming & upfront informative if they can't provide certain items for any reason. Always happy to come here.

The black americano had milk in it, and the cheese and tomato paninis were toasties.... not very impressed

As ever excellent coffee and superb staff. New chairs are a bit of a disaster though. Too low (for one of my advanced years!) and rather uncomfortable.

Drink itself was fine, but don't bother paying for extras (eg marshmallows or syrup) because you won't get them. Unimpressed, would not order again any time soon.

Terrible service I bought £40 worth of food, snacks, drinks over half was missing there is no direct number to call this Costa the unit 6 one I will be avoiding forever

They don’t put the foil liners on anymore. The bags were soaked through and coffee was spilt everywhere. Lost at least half a cup in spillage

The delivery of 6 items took 45 minutes to deliver. They arrived 10 minutes after my delivery window end time. The toastie is cold, the flat white is cold, the frappes are melted and the crisps are stale and no straws were included for the frappes.

The day was Sunday I had my sister round and we decided to order a latte and a hot chocolate. Not sure why it happened but the latte was ordered and it did not go through with the hot chocolate order. so I had to order it again separately. I am not happy because I ended up paying two delivery’s frees which was not cheap. I paid £3.49 for the delivery of the latte and I also paid £3.49. I was not happy. I feel like I do not want to order again as this may reacher.

I had part of my order missing so I was not happy. I just ordered drinks 1 hot chocolate and 1 latte but when I ordered the hot chocolate I did not receive the marshmallows I paid for but charged. Also when I ordered I ordered a latte to but it did nit go in order with my hot chocolate so I had to ordered separately and so I paid two delivery charges for £3.49 each. So no having to pay to delivery charges was very expensive. And I did not get my marshmallows to go with my hot chocolate. Not a good order experience.

Drinks were on time but the almond latte cup was open and nearly all of it is spilt on the floor even before we could collect it from the driver

Charged me for food and left a hand written note in the bag saying “sorry we have sold out of Mac and cheese” absolute JOKE

We ordered two drinks both with milk alternatives as we have allergies, drinks were provided with cows milk. Myself and my colleague have now both had allergic reactions - absolutely disgraceful.

Strawberry lemonade was lovely, but the chocolate oat drink was awful. Couldnt drink it. Tasted nothing like it usually does and looked congealed. Dissapointing.

Delivery was very late I could of gone and got it myself quicker! Resulting in some of the food being cold.

There has been a staff changeover with another costa branch. Quedgeley has now fallen down the league table, poor service, dirty tables and staff uninterested. Floor was actually sticky underfoot. Bring the original team back.

Crossaints were missing, that was the main reason for ordering so unfortunate.

I ordered one salted caramel with skimmed milk and one with semi skimmed milk. When the drinks arrived there was no label on the drinks to state which one had which milk in. As I have a sensitive stomach to milk I now can’t drink any of them as I don’t know which has skimmed milk in

One of my items was replaced with a less expensive one, despite me paying for the more expensive.

Hot toastie right next to a chocolate brownie. All meted in the bag. Not happy at all. Couldn't track driver as was late and her service had apparently gone down.

How do I get my points for costa card

Our order came items were missing and all drinks were spilt, asked the driver to go back to Costa to replenish the order, called the store to let them know the issue and Kelly said she would sort it. 20 minutes later (bearing in mind we are round the corner) still no order. Called the shop again and spoke to the manager BETH, her customer service was disgusting, and she offered no help at all. Was rude abrasive and abrupt and I still have no items for my delivery. As much as you can request a refund you do not get back your delivery fee. So I'm out money with no order. She had no desire to help or resolve the issue she just informed me that they closed in an hours time so if the driver was not back by then they could not do anything about the situation. As someone who regularly attends this Costa and spends a lot of time there I am disgusted with the customer service, or lack of from the 'new' manager!!!!!!!

Was lots of traffic. So not drivers fault. However maybe make milky drinks extra hot or give choice to select extra hot so not barely warm when it comes 😥

Delivery driver was rude. Didn't get a chance to open the door fully before he shoved it in my hand. Croissants squashed and my drink spilt all over the bag

When arrived, drink had spilt completely over food. No drink to save, couldn’t save food. Biscuits in packet was okay. Driver just kept saying “oh” and then left.

We called in to Costa Quedgeley (Tesco Quedgeley, Gloucester) for a coffee on Thursday 18th March, after getting the date wrong for a funeral, we hadn't missed it!! The lady who served us was so nice & cheerful, we thoroughly enjoyed our visit. My Husband, is always a really cheerful guy, & the lady said to him, I like you, you are welcome to come again Unfortunately we don't live near, but after the funeral next week, we will definitely go again. What a great welcome, from the lady with red hair. Thank you for your welcome, see you next week

Coffees were hot and tasted as expected. Lovely treat for a Sunday morning. Pastries were delicious too.

I ordered the chocolate torte, but for some reason the chocolate orange cake was delivered instead. I'm allergic to orange, so I couldn't have it. The rest was perfectly fine though

Changed my order without asking me. I’m allergic to sweetcorn so was unable to eat my meal. The replacement made also cost £1.40 cheaper however I was still charged for the food I was not given.
