The best restaurants in Gloucester South West

The one thing that keeps me coming to this place is the beautifully crusty battered fish with minimal oil and good chips. The customer service could do with a shine up and staff could do with putting a smile on their Dail.

Nice place. Didn't buy any food and didn't queue for any drinks while there so haven't starred. Great atmosphere though and friendly people

Table booked for 8 people at lunchtime. There were NO other customers. Table wasn't ready upon arrival. Staff were largely unwelcoming and disinterested. 45 minute wait for food. Sirloin steak ordered was cooked perfectly for 'medium' but so, so tough and 'ropey' it was all but inedible. Chips - just about warm. Onion rings - undercooked. Rocket - dry & limp. And tough if you wanted English mustard because they didn't have any! Surely in a fiercely competitive market you need to try much, much harder than this to survive?

I often get a takeaway about once a month, but the prices have significantly gone up for what my usual order is -more than once! You can get the same meal for cheaper, so I do t understand why it’s now so expensive!

Had the tandoori mixed grill and the chicken was RAW!!!! Tried calling the resteraunt before closing time but kept getting cut off.

I came in with 3 children and ordered chocolate baby chinos i asked for ‘have in’ cups for them as they love having their own cup (double espresso cup - i work at costa i know they can put it in a ‘have in’ cup) the girl on coffee machine didn’t smile once and looked very moody, said no this is what we do baby chinos in and didn’t give any other option, they were also made them all boiling hot it burnt my mouth let alone the kids mouths and we had to wait for 15 minutes before drinking them, baby chinos are supposed to be made to be drinkable to younger people! The woman starting the drinks was on the phone and then they swapped over half way through our drinks to what looked like the manager as she wasn’t wearing an apron but also DIDN’T wash her hands before coming onto the bar (as should be done EVERY-TIME you step on the bar) and then rolling her eyes at everyone rushing around. Really unprofessional and i thought as a manager she would know how to make a simple drink and follow costa rules. Very unsatisfied.

Order # 634444297 My two large stuffed crust pizza's and garlic bread were the worst I've ever had from dominos. The reason is because everything was on the base was rationed, it was very inconsistent compared to other branches and my expectation which is aligned to the normal standard. There was barely any base sauce, to the point that you couldn't even taste it, that's how little was on the pizza. The stuffed crust was near on empty and the toppings were incredibly sparse, literally one of each topping per slice as a maximum and I'm not talking meat balls, I'm talking peppers and jalapeños, it was honestly shockingly disappointing. This is unfortunate as I've always been loyal to Domino's both here in the UK and abroad but it looks like it's time to go elsewhere if this is the new standard. Higher prices are something that I can accept but £36 later and to have bland pizza's, sorry but that's not what I want when enjoying a takeaway, the entire family were really dissatisfied.

Food & service was excellent, but I didn't realise there was Rugby on at Kingsholm so collection was a bit of a challenge!

Staff are friendly, quick service. Children’s area was a win for us. Food was lovely and again quick service. Would recommend

A typical KFC, but with friendly, efficient staff. It has a drive through.
