Wokexpress in Gloucester

Tasty meal…….well recommended. But the Spring Rolls were small and expensive

Never had a problem with Wok express my favourite chinese

Food was great, only quarrel was salt and pepper chicken had little chicken to vegetable ratio

Chicken was very soft and tasted strange

The food was tasty and they called to ask if they could deliver early which suited us better

Unfortunately the order took along to arrive. I ordered at 7.15 and in arrived 2 hours later after having to contact the restaurant to find out where my order was.

Excellent Chinese takeaway. Ordered a variety of dishes can recommend Cantonese sweet and sour chicken, crispy shredded beef, Shaoshin pepper beef, Singapore vermicelli, chicken curry

The food did not taste right plus the chips were soggy fatty one mouthful of my food & I put it in the bin - very expensive poor quality

The meat on the ribs was hard either overcooked or warmed up a few times the chips hard, cold, again probably re heated, the pork in the char sui not that good. I never complain or leave bad reviews, but honestly it is the worst chinese I have ever had, definitely will not use again, mostof the food went in the bin

Delivery fine. Unfortunately the food was ridiculous. the rice was clearly cooked a few days ago. And both the rice and curry was so salty, (I'm not talking a little extra.soy here) we had throw out the entire meal

The delivery man was at the wrong address, my meal was cold

Had takeaway. Ribs were cremated, spring rolls full of grease and prawn on toast was burned. Had Thai green curry and the whole dish was swimming in water. There was nothing to hold the sauce together a bit. I was sick and had diarrhea all night and Saturday morning despite taking Loperamide. Will NEVER order food from there again. Will stick with the Chinese takeaway next door.

If you want a quick and easy takeout come here. Cash only at the time of visit but there is a cash machine outside…😁

Arrived early and nice and hot very happy! Never had a problem with them would have liked a fortune cookie

Ordered duck and vegetable curries, but they both looked identical, and the vegetable curry didn't resemble a vegetable dish at all. Very disappointed.☹️

Noodles didnt taste very nice, shredded beef didnt taste like beef. Just didnt really enjoy the meal.

Fantastic quality food. Very tasty. Just wish they had more sweet n sour sauce with their chicken balls. Overall totally impressed.

food was amazing. absolutely best in a long time. there was a issue with payment not going through due to app updates and I hadn't realised, delivery driver was absolutely brilliant. understanding and patient whilst I had to run to get the cash. Won't use another Chinese.

It's OK and I will go there again because, even though my special chow mein was too heavy on the mushrooms and too light on the meat, it was very tasty.

amazing for a Friday night! arrived half an hour early which was fantastic. food was absolutely beautiful, hot, prawn crackers were crispy, curry sauce was amazing. thank you so much 😊

Disappointed to find prawns in my chicken stir fry dish, so had to swap my meal with my partner as I have an allergy to fish. Just glad I spotted them before I started eating it.

Chicken salt and pepper was very good my dads curry was inedible it was nasty chips were good . The delivery person was kind and yeah that’s my review hope you have a great rest of your day 7.5 out of 10 this time

Food was excellent, delivery seemed to take longer than it should have done, however food was hot.

Delivery on time, food was pipping hot. Although, they forgot to include our prawn crackers with our meal, it doesn't hamper us ordering with Wok Express. It is our only Chinese takeaway we go when we stumbled ordering with them last year. We have not failed ordering from them as the food are cooked well and delicious!

Terrible Won Tons and severely over cooked Balls made a very disappointing meal. I come back for the tasty S&S Sauce but its not worth this.

Had delivery to Twigworth on many occasions.. However, told , don’t deliver that far out. , yet weekend previous did.. What!! No reasonable reason given.. Never again.. Spoiled a weekend..👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼

Have always ordered from here but food wasn't as warm and considering price has gone up, the curry portion was much smaller

Waited over an hour. Food was not hot. Quality of the food has decreased. This has previously been my favourite restaurant. Disappointed.

Could still taste the powder in the curry and the mixed starter was full of burnt fat and spare ribs were dry in the mixed starter. Delivery took 1hr 45min

Due to a burst water main under a railway bridge, it took longer for the driver to get to the restaurant and to us, they rang to apologise and let us know; excellent food, good value.

Only downside was it was a bit cold so had to reheat. But lovely food.

Food arrived lukewarm and quality was very poor. Having eaten lots of Chinese takeaways over the last 50 years this was definitely the worst I have ever had.

Food wasn’t to usual standard. Ribs was burnt and chips was too crispy/overcooked. Chicken balls coated wasn’t crispy. It’s was too dry and too much coat over the chicken.

Claims to be open, takes orders but never accepts or fulfils - tried three times, twice online and one time phone just to see if maybe i got unlucky but doesn't seem to be the case.

Food and service was great as always, only gripe was that the prawn crackers were missing from our order.

All present and correct and lovely food. Huge order of £120 for the Fam. Some freebies would have been nice but still happy.
