The male server needs to get a personality and some manners. Without Customers, he wouldn’t have a job. He gave the impression that he couldn’t be bothered

We now use Caffe Corretto down the road, a little rushed, but coffee tastes consistent costs less and there is much less attitude. Cafe Nero take no action on complaints, so we now share publicly. If you care about how your drink is made or think you know how Cafe Nero should taste because you are the one buying it, don't visit this one.

Although all Neros are standard. This place was quite cosy.

I had a terrible experience with the worker with black hair and glasses at this establishment. Not only were they incredibly rude and dismissive, but they also seemed completely incompetent at their job. They were slow, unhelpful, and seemed more interested in talking to their coworkers than assisting me. I would not recommend this worker to anyone looking for competent and friendly service. Avoid them at all costs.

I was served by a large woman with black hair and glasses, she was very slow and had very bad attitude and customer service, her drink was also not up to the usual standards here. I have always had a great experience in this Nero (Gloucester quays) however unfortunately she’s ruined it for me.

My favourite coffee shop was a much -needed stop for breakfast when visiting Gloucester. So disappointed…., my request for extra hot beverage was ignored …. There was a flurry of customers at the time, so perhaps the barista was a little overwhelmed. Coffee still ok flavour-wise and Italian cream bun was a treat!

A nice setting, plenty of seats and tables, small toilet, but it has one. 👍 Good coffee, great staff. 🍪🍩☕

The Latte was nice and the snack (honestly can't remember the French name, I can only recall it started with *Pork...roll) was quite delicious, I really enjoyed every sip & bite tbh!

Love this coffee shop so much- the range of cappuccinos is lush and the Panini's and cakes are lush! We went to Gloucester keys after some coat shopping. The shop was airy,creating choices from arm chairs to table benches Baby high chairs there,disability access excellent Baby changing room in disability toilets All ground level Great view from windows to people watch or simply sit and recuperate!.

I had 3 coffees today different places . But here is the best by far. I know my coffee, foam was perfect. Well done.

I’ve never been to café Nero before until today and I can say I will be returning the millionaire hot chocolate was amazing along with the lemon drizzle cake. The young women who served me was very lovely and kind.

I came to this cafe Nero to avoid the busyness of the town centre one. The assistants here were friendly but extremely slow in serving people and making drinks. I have been a manager quite sometime and worked in retail in the past these staff need to organise and work together a bit better one take orders one make drinks. I have no criticisms of the place it was a lovely atmosphere and maybe they were tired from a busy day. But service was extremely slow. Please stop using the cloths to wipe down pipes I am a Decontamination Manager and it is vile. There were several on the side under the coffee machine it's not hygienic.

Arrived for an early breakfast after the clocks had changed. The barista was very cheerful. Good selection of breakfast items for a cafe. Good coffee, good panini and friendly staff.

Didn't have food sat outside due to lots of kids running around inside service a bit slow but very friendly didn't eat

Stopped for a brief cuppa. Everything was as expected for a Cafe Nero other than the cleanliness which unusually was not good. Table sticky, floor dirty, lots of dead flies. It was a shame as it is usually excellent.

Coffee very nice but SLOWEST service ever! The coffee was very nice but service so so slow which leads to long queues. Staff seem so disorganised and inefficient. We wanted 3 identical drinks ..... So staff made each one separately rather than at same time. First drink was cold by time 3rd one made.

Ordered my coffee and some popcorn for my lad. Waited around d 10 mins to get served as it was busy, all good. Came to pay and realised I had the wrong bank card!!!! So embarrassing. After faffing to get the money transferred ASAP as the shop was busy, the manager kindly bought my coffee and popcorn for the boy. I was super shocked and super thankful. Will be calling back in with a thank you! Coffee was great and reasonably priced.

Very impressed with this cafe. Being a batista myself I am quite judgemental with cafes but when I asked for a decaf coffee the equipment was all rinsed before use. Friendly service and good food

Served by a heavily tattooed lady who clearly did not want to be there,ignorant,miserable impatient person....had to queue twice...a second time because miss misfit couldn't be bothered to do her job properley.barely enough water in teapot to get a cup of tea.Beggars belief that these companies do not know the personality of the staff they employ to interact with customers. Lady if you were having a bad day it certainly showed.

I asked about the ground coffee in bags for sale. Staff member behind till lacked the basic knowledge to help me with regards to their selection. She also didn't walk over to look or as anyone else.

Brilliant, Respectful, Helpful , kind, very clean. Would recommend to my family and friends 100%.

This place needs a deep clean. All the machines are smeared and greasy, even the counter. Tables full of cups and rubbish from previous costumers . The place is always busy as I pass by often.

A great relaxed feeling cafe. Easy chairs and gentle music set you into a relaxed state after a heavy working week. The drinks are good but didn't have any food on this occasion.

First thing to say is my Nero app didn't work here (later found out it was blocked and still is ) so that wasn't a good start but my coffee was to the usual standard although it has to be said Nero in Turkey is better and cleaner/tidier

Being a barista myself, I can understand when cafecare busy especially when it is just three weeks away untill Christmas. However, Cafe Nero at the quays you need to learn to be more polite to your customers. The barista that served me literally snatched my panini out of my hand and I mean SNATCHED out of my hand and he bought it to my table he shoved it in front of me and said "there yoy are". The service is dead slow and there was a lot of tables that needed cleaning.

Pity the 2 baristas seemed more focused on their own chat rather than their customers.

Very slow service there was only 2 customers in front of me but seemed to take 10 minutes to be served. I was then given a disappointing small coffee, the staff member had to get syrup. I challenged the small as I have never been given a small at Nero when asking for a medium - I was then told that there is only small or regular- so then why was not given this choice. I didn’t ask to change it as it had taken so long to be served and I was going to the cinema.

Visit on most Sundays' prior to going to the cinema. Relaxed atmosphere allows us to drink our coffee without being disturbed or feeling that we have to rush.

Having been in a few Nero's and found them to be atmospheric and serve good coffee this one was a disappointment. It wasn't at all busy but there were uncleared tables, food crumbs on chairs and tables and a lot of dead flies on the window ledge where we were sitting. The flat white coffee tasted ok but was only just warm. I hope this was just an off day and not a sign of things to come.

I approached Cafe Nero as I hadan upset twin whom had run out milk. I usually dine in and I am regular costumer however this time I just required a little milk for my baby bottle to settle him. The lady was who served me rudely said, we’ll how much do you want? I’m going to have to charge you. I said only 100ml. She then said that will be £1.20. I was disgusted and questioned that’s quiet a lot isn’t it? She didn’t look at me and said well it’s a small cup in a rude tone. Cafe Nero, please confirm Is a small cup 100ml? And for a crying baby’s no compassion? I hope I receive some compensation as it has put me off coming to the store , and I’m very upset

Honestly thought two members of staff were waiting for the bus rather than taking orders and serving! Disinterested, talking between themselves. Embarrassing when compared to other branches. No idea about customer service.

A place for good coffee and a cake

Caffe Nero is the one stop place for us to get coffee. Me and my husband are coffee lovers and we prefer Cafe Nero over others. White chocolate mocha is another best option when we take our kids along.

Coffee great but very understaffed. 1 person trying to serve a queue. Lavatories could have done with a deep clean or redecorate.

Being very hot I thought I’d go here quickly with the Mrs to get a drink to cool down as had a voucher. We had the the Belgium chocolate and hazel nut and strawberry and white chocolate frappes. I can honestly say these are both good but I do prefer the pistachio and caramel but there’s a shortage nationwide at them moment. Place very tidy and staff friendly I recommend these drinks. Great place to catch up with friends for coffee and cake.

The service isn’t as good as I’d expect. The staff aren’t impolite but often seems like they’re going through the motions and don’t really respond to you or too busy chatting to each other. It’s never busy when I’m there so I’d expect better. The coffee quality is very hit and miss and the cakes etc are overpriced for the size. It’s a shame as they’re one of the few places that allow dogs so if it was better, I’d probably go daily on our walk.

Quieter than other local cafe Nero's and much more pleasant atmosphere... COVID secure and staff friendly even when enforcing rules... certainly worth visiting if your around the docks.
