Queens Fish & Chips Restaurant in Gloucester

Lovely ladies who serve customers. Portion sizes have got noticeably smaller and hygiene is pretty gross. Food on clothes (no apron worn) has gone into my chips before and I've seen them wipe down the chip scoop from the night before with a paper towel before using it.

Great food and great service from the team. This place is a must to visit

Delicious food and arrived early.

This was without doubt the worst fish and chips we have eaten, the fish was reheated, the chips were cold and the mushy peas were anything but just a small tub of partially crushed peas

Food is fantastic but the just eat delivery was very poor. Tracked the delivery and the time of estimated got longer and longer. Food was warm. This needs to be looked at by the service provider as when delivered there were a further 2 orders in the bag to be delivered. This is a poor show by Just Eat.

Food was just under an hour late. And food was missing from order.

An extremely long wait, with delivery times changing, on a Monday night! Food was cold when it arrived. The batter on the fish was awful, with most of it stuck to the wrapping. Would not order from here again, unless you like cold, late food.

put lettuce and tomatoes in your burgers as shown. just a burger between 2 dry baps is shocking

Seem to be incapable of getting an order right….drinks missing, order was wrong yet circled on the order notes. Do wonder if they do it on purpose sometimes.

delivery timing changed 5 times and food 2h later than ordered....for fish an chips!

Could not cancel the order as courier was already there even though they had been waiting well over half an hour at the restaurant. Expected time of arrival kept changing and even didn’t update when the time it was meant to be here had past. Ended up ringing the restaurant who said the food was on way when it was not.

Late!, it never actually turned up! But not until the App had delayed the delivery time over 8 times which meant we kept waiting. Shocking service.

standard on food quality would I order properly not as 19 quid for 3 things however took just over an hour and the food was cold

Fabulous piece of plaice. I order regularly from Queens and am never disappointed. Great quality fish. Queens can’t be beaten for quality or price. A bargain!!

This for me is the best fish and chips we’ve had delivered. When ordered they always give you an approximate delivery time. They are always delivered well within the time and served hot. The courier is always very pleasant.

some food was missing and it took so long to get delivered when we tried to call they were closed so couldn't sort it out and was missing half our food

didn't bring me my kebab so got half the order. Staff were aware the kebab was left at the restaurant but still refused to bring it to me and just said sorry. so now I'm down food and money.

They dont put any heart on a burger l have had a cheese burger dry bread roll fryed burger with no thought when pay for it on a dilivery it was terrible cheese burger salad was no thought and complained and they just gave me a bag ov chips to please me has customer to sort it. Next one was order a kebab then decided to cancel last minute but no refund back phoned up queens told me to wait 3 to 5 working days for refund to show nothing then l went in there on Sunday 18th August in the afternoon when they opened explained rude because they speaking there luaggue front ov me saying something about me l ignored it but if l didn't l would ov said something like l can understand there luaggue and l do so that was rude to say am wrong so l carried on explaining ignored there rudness and wanted to know has my refund taken out or not when l cancelled they said l have to take it up with just Eat on the phone or email don't know how this system is and how it is working just on a cancel to trace my money if it has been taken out or not to check it. Its like they acted fishy not honisty but l won't be getting anything from there no more at all for this service of refund l am angry for there service.

Though the delivery was slightly late,it is a Saturday night, so that's fine. food was still hot & I enjoyed it. I had mixed kebab meat & chip, & there was plenty of it. Would have something again.

First and last time. Phoned through my order and was told to collect in half an hour, I arrived as requested, explained that I had come to collect a telephone order. Yes yes what is it you ordered so confirmed the order and made payment. Was then just left standing there with no explanation that they were then going to need to cook the food. Left standing around the shop for 25 minutes along with others trying to work out whose food order was ready when the order was murmured out over the counter. The chips were so-so and the fish under cooked.

The delivery driver came to the door, my partner said to him, "hi, how are you doing" to which he said nothing and after he took the food and said thank you he just walked off, very rude delivery driver

Won't be going to queens fish and chips anymore due to rude delivery driver they have delivering for them.

The kebabs lately from Queens seem to have big chunks at the bottom of the pitta instead of the good thin kebab meat. Have noticed this for the last year or so, really not good at all as the chunks at the bottom are disgusting offcut pieces. Really not good. Really seems like they are trying to weigh the kebab down with the bad bits & then put a few good bits of kebab meat on top, really poor.

Good size portions, reasonable prices, bit of a wait as they were busy.

Really good food (mixed kebab in Naan is amazing) but totally let down by rude and miserable serving staff.

We stopped using just eat because every time they did not deliver properly. They don’t read the numbers and always go to end of lane , wait then come down as we are outside. We said that how do they not read the numbers and that the order will be cold and he just laughed . Not good!!!!!!!

Received wrong order, and delivery took no responsibility, ordered fish chips - was left with chicken tikka and chips and sausage.

Food is hit & miss. Sometimes chips are cooked properly, sometimes not.

Only minor. Asked for salt and vinegar but none added.

food great, ordered for 7:15, arrived at 7:50 but think it was because we ordered on a Friday and the restaurant was probably busy

Food turned up about 40 mins late, was lukewarm, so I had to reheat in the oven. Have never had an issue before, but probably won't risk it in future.

Delivery time awful - nearly an hour late - then get a courier who can’t read instructions. Fish small and curry sauce so thin !! Going back to their bad ways !

would not order fish again paid 8.95 for a cod was like a smal cod rest of food was a good standard
