We ordered curry sauce and you gave us gravy. We’ve had a lot of takeaways from here before and the fish was half the size it normally is. The mixed meat in a tray was 60% salad and hardly any meat. Very disappointed with this order

Used to be happy to split and wrap separate the bag of chips for my two kids (one likes mayo one doesn’t) but now all of a sudden the lady said “other customers are complaining” doubt they was. Clearly a lie because they are lazy and money motivated. What would splitting a bag I paid full money for matter? I’ve still paid the full price. Ann’s chippy don’t mind doing it. So that’s where I will be going. The tone and condescending tone she used was a factor also.

The delivery time kept changing, it was not a big issue but I'd prefer to be given the latest possible time rather than an early estimate that gets later and later. However I can understand the difficulty of gauging how busy the shop will be.

basically a kids meal for £21... Never ever again will I buy anything from yous.. absolute rip off.. 1 sausage, 1 small fish and around 20 chips, curry sauce plus £1.99 delivery joke.. Stay away people and don't get ripped off.. Good job I didn't go to collect or it would have been taken it back to the shop for a refund

Waited nearly 2 hours for my order. When I call to enquire, the staff were rude, didn’t even apologise and then put the phone down. They said it was on the way when I called, but still took another 30 minutes to arrive. Obviously food was only warm, fish and chips had gone soggy. Not even worth 1 star. I won’t be going back.

Order was 30 mins after original time given, but worse than that, the Fish and Chips were disgustingly greasy and luke warm. Can honestly say that is the worse Fish&Chips I have ever had.

We did a large family order of food through Just Eat with this restaurant. Unfortunately, the order was delivered to the wrong address (totally different area from the address given to them) with our contact details on it. We know this as the individual who had also placed an order from them received it and rung us to inform us. This is a data breach of GDPR but something that the restaurant would not admit to and were quite rude to my daughter when she rang them about it. They offered no apology at all. This isn't something I expect from this popular restaurant and one that we have used many times before. When we then got the order again with my wife collecting it from them, rather than another risk of poor delivery, the restaurant decided to say that on Just Eat that they had delivered it to us in an attempt to maintain their delivery status. This has put us off ever using them again and will deliberately use another one. Totally unacceptable and deplorable.

lovely fish with crispy batter, and it came in a box so not stuck to the wrapper. Scallops were yummy. not sure the recipe for curry is quite right though. Food was like warm once it arrived so would advise using an insulated bag to keep it warm en-route. Will order again

The delivery driver kept asking me for the code number, I had no idea what he was talking about. At one point I thought he was going to refuse to hand over the food. This is the second time this has happened it needs sorting.

Don’t normally order any chips as I find the cod on its own enough. But the size of it is getting so much smaller but still the same ridiculous high price !! You really need to take note

This is my go to take away. Tonight delivery took longer than expected which I don’t mind but the food was delivered cold. The meat was also dry had lack of sauce

Normally when your food comes it’s bulging in the box this time it was half full thinking someone made a mistake but when I open next one same so not happy just recently it’s been getting worse it’s a shame cause the food is great

The fish was glorious. It was cooked to perfection and tasted lovely. There were not too many chips. A lovely meal

Lovely ladies who serve customers. Portion sizes have got noticeably smaller and hygiene is pretty gross. Food on clothes (no apron worn) has gone into my chips before and I've seen them wipe down the chip scoop from the night before with a paper towel before using it.

Food took forever to be made, (only ordered 1 portion of chips and 2 battered sausages so nothing taxing) and when it did come it was cold and somehow stale, below average and definitely not worth the wait, would steer well clear.

Food was awful! Cold, undercooked, mushy, salad underneath warm food so limp. Will not order from here again. Threw most of it away

Not delivered and sent order to the wrong house. When we called to query they said we would have to come and collect it. It was over an hour later than planned delivery time.

Not sure about special meal with the portion size should be labelled under the kids meal section almost £7 and still hungry Shame you can’t put a picture of it

Delicious food and arrived early.

This was without doubt the worst fish and chips we have eaten, the fish was reheated, the chips were cold and the mushy peas were anything but just a small tub of partially crushed peas

Food is fantastic but the just eat delivery was very poor. Tracked the delivery and the time of estimated got longer and longer. Food was warm. This needs to be looked at by the service provider as when delivered there were a further 2 orders in the bag to be delivered. This is a poor show by Just Eat.

An extremely long wait, with delivery times changing, on a Monday night! Food was cold when it arrived. The batter on the fish was awful, with most of it stuck to the wrapping. Would not order from here again, unless you like cold, late food.

Could not cancel the order as courier was already there even though they had been waiting well over half an hour at the restaurant. Expected time of arrival kept changing and even didn’t update when the time it was meant to be here had past. Ended up ringing the restaurant who said the food was on way when it was not.
