First time I went to Schwartz Bros was in the early 1990’s. Upon my return to Bath, I was so pleased to discover they were still in operation and the food is just as superbly delicious as it was back then! Great food, lovely staff, perfection!
Best proper pub food i've had for ages, with great homemade chips. Lovely staff too!
Beer also tastes great...like, well-kept and fresh which sounds weird but you don't actually get that everywhere.
What a wonderful place. Great food in a really cosy atmosphere with excellent staff all round. We would recommend this restaurant most highly for all those visiting Bath. If you look inside you may think it is full but it has two floors of great experience and well worth a visit.

Our lunchtime meal was one of the worst Thai I've ever experienced. The pad Thai was a soggy sloppy noodle mess. Nill points for presentation and the flavour was bland and didn't really hint at what you would expect from one of Thailands well known dishes. The prawns were not very good quality and the chicken was dry and rubbery. Haven't tried any of their other dishes, but if this is representative, steer clear of this restaurant. Service was very good hence 2 stars

Food was ok but left feeling completely scammed. Attended the restaurant on Friday evening, a large group of us roughly 20 people. We had to all pay a £10 deposit prior to reserve the table. When we sat down, the table had tap water stored in glass bottle. This was not sealed bottled water. It was quite clearly tap water in a glass cork bottle. This was presumed free and was used during our meal. At the end of the meal, we were told we all were due to pay £15. I only had a curry and pilau rice. How this has now cost me £25 I do not know. The restaurant charged for the tap water they leave available on all the tables and they charged us £60 poppadoms, we didn’t want any starters and they insisted we had poppadoms. Bearing in mind they are advertised as 90p each on the menu, where £60 worth had come from I do not know either!. Honestly just felt like the deposit we paid didn’t get taken off the bill at all as promised and they overcharged us and charged us for tap water. Personally, I won’t be returning.
