One of the worst veg burger of my life. Had to throw away the entire food. The tiki inside the burger was burnt and the owner claimed it is the way it is. Never had such a bad burger

Cheeky burger after a bike ride from Bristol. Simple burger made super quick. Nothing to be impress by it.

I hate leaving these types of reviews but unfortunately just had a really bad experience here as the food just wasn’t good. My boyfriend got a bbq burger which was literally absolutely smothered and dripping in way too much sauce, so much so that you couldn’t really taste what was going on with the actual burger, and the cheeseburger was covered in far too much of this bright red relish sauce and just wasn’t that nice. The meat didn’t seem good quality, nor the buns, and I could see them putting frozen potato wedges straight out of a bag into the fryer. I’m not saying EVERYTHING has to be made from scratch but it felt like absolutely everything came out of a bag or bottle and was pretty low quality including the relish and sauces. It just doesn’t seem the type of place that takes a lot of pride in what they serve. Would unfortunately not want to come again. The service however was great and they have very good and very friendly front of house staff working for them.

Best burgers and onion rings in Bath, possibly all of Britain! Smokey flavour, proper buns, crispy rings….just wish there were some outside tables, but it’s worth it to just to eat on the benches. Delicious!

One of the places in the centre where to find food and open until late night. They saved my life on my first night in Bath. The burgers and chips are very nice and the size of the burger is more than big.

My burger was dry and tasteless with no sauce, I would have been very upset if this burger was £5. However, this burger was £10! I'm honestly appalled, I would have happily paid £10 for a Mcdonald's burger over this any day.

Stopped for a quick snack while shopping. Only had the nuggets and chips but it’s worth mentioning that they were very nice and fresh. Thank you Schwartz Bros Team

Good service. Chicken burger mediocre at best. Chips tasteless but a good portion. Very overpriced, mcdonalds is much better value.

Just a meh place. Seriously overpriced. When you charge £10 for a burger İ expect the works, but honestly not much difference between this and a Five Guys (which is cheaper). Came to more than £30 for two burgers, 2 portions of chips and two drinks. For a little more İ could have gone to one of the many great restaurants or pubs here in Bath, and enjoyed a sitdown, restaurant quality experience. I just can't see how they justify their prices, especially considering its TAKEOUT only. In terms of the quality of the food, it was good. A burger is hard to get wrong really, but like İ said İ just expected a bit more for that amount of money. If youre in Bath and fancy a burger, save yourself some money and go to GBK, Five Guys etc. You'll get the same thing for a fraction of the price and be able to actually sit down and enjoy your meal in the warm too.

Bad burger van burger with premium prices.

Their chicken is halal so I ordered their Hot thai chilli grill burger but sadly it was extremely bland and dry. Not suggested at all. The only good thing about the meal was their fries. Overall bad experience

It's been 17 years since I last had one of your veggie burgers. I haven't tasted one that compares since. I used to buy one and eat it in the park the night before I flew to Canada for a holiday every year.

I’m a returning customer previously iy was perfect this time I ordered two sandwiches a chicken which was ok and vegan mayo burger which was burned and didn’t taste well

Amazing chicken burger and best wedges I’ve ever had!

A truly amazing place to eat. The meal was one of the best burgers I've had in a while. There's no indoor seating but some nice benches just outside. I promise you the quality is amazing, the service was great and it was brilliant for vegetarians which was a big positive. Would definitely recommend.

I haven’t had a Shwartz Brothers since the nineties, but got a burger out of nostalgia when passing through. It was good. That wasn’t a shock as it just smelt right when I walked in, like fresh food, if that makes sense. Fries super fresh crisp and clean 👌

We went here after seeing bad reviews for other places. The food here was delicious. I had a bbq bacon burger with fries. Plenty of tasty fries, the burger was delicious and I'll definitely go again. I knocked down a star because there was far too much bbq sauce and I couldn't scrape and off as it was mixed in with the shredded lettuce. It was still delicious but would have been better and easier to eat with far less sauce. I'll ask next time - and I will go back.

Burgers are quite large and buns are toasted. Taste is good.

As usual, google review rating is nowhere near reality. Got a cheeseburger + fries + drink, paid £15. Now I can accept this if the food is good, but this is just average, meat was good quality, but it's a fairly coarse grind, so not much melts in your mouth, bun is a joke, cheap and doesn't go well with the meat and most of the time you feel the cheap ketchup throughout the burger. Fries are ok, but nothing special. Way overpriced for what it is, absolutely no idea where the hype is coming from. If this is the best burger you've ever had, then clearly you've not had many good burgers.

Best fast food in Bath. Especially at 2am

After buying here for years back in the day, was excited to return on a day trip to Bath. Ordered a double veggie and was quite disappointed with how dry and flavourless it was. Humbly took it back and my man sorted me a single cheeseburger as an apology and in so grateful cos it was great.

Have eaten here twice and both times my regular burger had loads of bbq sauce on without me requesting it? Overrated too expensive for a burger that ain’t hitting the spot tbh. Better off going to Mr Ds or literally any other kebab but there are next to no kebabs because Bath is too middle class 🫶🏼 literally the burger van near the abbey is better.

There’s a reason Schwarz have been going for as long as they have (40+years?). I’ve certainly been coming here since the late 80s…You can keep your Five Guys, GBK, and all the others. Schwarz remain the best burger in town by a country mile.

This has been a legendary place in Bath for as long as I’ve lived here, and with good reason: food cooked right in front of you, low prices, and a brilliant location. Highly recommended!

Everytime I watch a show at the Theatre Royal Bath, I always treat myself to a veggie garlic mayo cheeseburger and fries. Exquisite!

The veggie burger here is apparently so good.... I bought one for my vegetarian friend Phoebe and she threw it at me and ran off crying because she didn't believe it was the veggie burger.. " It tastes too good, it can't be"

A full refund for serving me meat when I ordered veggie is practical but you clearly don't understand the pain you have caused. You had 1 job & you weren't even that busy. Check your burger before you leave folks 😔

Yummy. I have now had very tasty and well made burgers from these guys on multiple occasions. A shame they have no indoor seating and its takeaway only. But still a fantastic burger.

BANGIN’! Me and my wife had a burger each from here at lunch and wow it was superb. Burger was juicy, bun was soft, salad was fresh and crunchy & the fries were incredible. Mrs prefers Five Guys which is about 20 meters away, but forget that, TRY THIS! I had the chorizo burger, would recommend to anyone. Bring a restaurant to Birmingham please.

The best burger I've had. I had the bbq and bacon burger and fries, with a vanilla milkshake. It was very tasty and filled me up to just the right amount. My partner had the chicken nuggets and chips and said the nuggets were unbelievable. We sat outside opposite eachother on the benches and had our tea on valentines day whilst enjoying the night life of Bath.

Bugers are amazing, juicy and full of flavour. The dou5burgers are rather generous so good for the bigger appetite. The fries are rather good too. Worth the 45 min drive to Bath for the burgers if nothing else

I’ve been on a bit of a Schwartz bros binge, after being away up north for the last two years, I was really missing them while I was gone. Now I’m making the most of my month stay in Bath, hands down the best burgers not just in Bath but the whole country!

Has gone really downhill over the last year. Last one was inedible, one before that not great. A real shame as used to be the finest I'd ever had. Edit // Customer service received on complaining about burger non existent and quite shocking.

Chorizo double chicken burger with extra bacon and pineapple (I know ... what was I thinking). With the first bite I knew I had to order another.

Not very good quality meat got suggested garlic mayo which was shocking won't be going there again.

Very bad double burger, was recommended garlic mayo was terrible it wasn't fresh chicken, beef had a smell to it, Was not anywhere near worth the money we paid for it.. very disappointed

chicken nuggets were impressive! the beef patty was quite in solid texture so the single patty was better with taste.

💯 Best burger I have ever had. Went for the BBQ and bacon double burger which was magnificent. Saw it by accident too as I was looking at another burger place next to it, decided to trial it and wasn't disappointed. If I could eat a burger a day for the rest of my life, it would be Schwartz Bros gourmet burgers.

Probably one of the best burger places in Uk. 5Plus. The only suggestion is they should pay their employees more because they're doing a great job. Can't wait to visit again

Great burgers. Its always on the visit list when out in Bath. They say eating is cheating, but it's worth it (or just wait until you've finished your all dayer - no cheating involved).

Very good buger with soft seeded bun 👌🏽 I ordered a bacon cheeseburger and strawberry milkshake that came to about £9+ I'm not sure if they having a seating area upstairs as it was blocked due to covid but they have little seats outside the shop which isn't that great. All in all its a little pricey but a good size burger worth 👌🏽

This is the best burger place, with vegetarian options that are amazing! The vege garlic mayonnaise burger and vege blue cheese burger are the stand outs for me:-delicious and tasty, a proper burger not mushroom or halloumi (imposters!). I live in London but make the detour to Bath solely for Schwartz Brothers: a West Country institution! When you open a London branch, hit me up!
