Visiting it often. They offer German beer and selection of local beers and ales. Menu is small bit food is very good. I recommend trying the steak.

Great location with views over the river. We were seated outside under a canopy on a bench table with no back, so not too comfortable. The food was fresh and delicious and service friendly and efficient.

This having been our second time of dining here for a special occasion. We cannot praise the quality of choice and food enough. The service is second to none. We have eaten at more selective restaurants, but value for money, the White Hart is far ahead when it comes to dining.

It’s lovely, proper standards of service. Gluten free available, including Fish n Chips. Takeaway lunch’s available.

Living in Honiton we go to this cafe regularly . We always receive a friendly welcome and excellent service. The food is always excellently cooked and very tasty offering excellent value for money. The best value for money venue in Honiton.

The 3 of us enjoyed an excellent meal last Friday. They have good food and wine. Highly recommended.

Fab lunch, great service, nice ale in a lovely old pub..proper jacket potato, nice pulled pork all home made.good atmosphere, will definitely visit again

The Full Breakfast is fantastic

Tucked away in the back lanes of Cornwall, this is an eclectic and vibrant venue for lunch. I can see that during tourist seasons, it’s essential to book to ensure you’ll get a table but Slice was able to accommodate our walk-in even though it was busy. Brilliant food with an excellent mix of veggie and meat-based options. I wasn’t able to do my main course full justice due to my limited ability to eat due to cancer recovery. Despite my pleas not to, the team insisted on deducting the cost of my main course from the bill - a hugely generous and empathetic gesture, and a sign of just how friendly and welcoming the Slice team is. So a very big thankyou to all the folks at Slice and I’ll definitely be back to scoff a full lunch when I’m fully recovered.

What went wrong? We have always enjoyed our food both in the restaurant and take away but tonight our meal was very disappointing. We are used to fluffy rice and flavour packed curries - tonight we had overcooked bland rice and a tasteless chicken Bhuna and mushroom Bhaji that had no spice to it at all. It was almost as if it came from a different restaurant. Hopefully just an off night.

Stopped in for a quick sandwich at lunch time and it was amazing. Great atmosphere, great staff and great food served quickly. Can’t really ask for more from a cafe
