The best restaurants in South West

Booked for Sunday lunch, 5 kids 6 adults. Everything was amazing. The staff were excellent, attentive and friendly. The roast dinners were probably the best I have eaten out, I could of done with more belly pork but only because it was so delicious. The crispy rice pudding, coconut sorbet desert was outstanding. They've got it spot on in this restaurant 👌.

Accepted my order online and let me complete the sales process, only to cancel my order. Had to ring for them for them to tell me that they don’t deliver to my address, even though their website let me complete the order. The irony is that I only ordered from them because they delivered a flyer through my letterbox.

When holidaying in Cornwall the bush pepper should be a top tier priority your list. There are many things to enjoy on the menu but in my opinion you must always try something new. For example their kangaro was such a unusual but delicious dish. It doesn't have that gamey beefy iron taste to it, so you really can season it however you like. The menu said it was Cajun but I felt it lacked that spicy element. The port and red wine reduction was lovely. And the sweet potato wedges really complimented the kangaroo. My wings were fall apart melt in your mouth. However, it said it was BBQ flavour I think it needed a bit more of a smokey depth to it. The sauce felt a little confused. But still delicious. The people who served us were a delight Jasmine and Sian. Two sweet & Stella servers who make all the correct check backs at the appointed time. They had great banter. They really did look after us. Check backs really mean alot to me as a customer and you can always tell if they are genuine. The portion sizes as you can see are spot on. Just an all round amazing time. The owner must be proud.

A unique Sunday lunch experience 😋

I recently visited Bosco and unfortunately, it didn’t live up to expectations. The food was average at best, with starters like the bruschetta being particularly underwhelming – they were tiny portions for the price. The wait for our food was excessively long, which made the whole experience less enjoyable. To top it off, they completely forgot about my daughter’s meal, which was frustrating. Another downside was the service charge of 12%, which felt unreasonable given the overall experience. It’s disappointing when the quality doesn’t match the price you’re paying. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend it!!

Lovely, pricey for a pub but top quality nosh, even some free extras like arancini on the house. Brilliant service and friendly staff.

Well we were booked for a surprise 60th Birthday meal on 22nd December 2023. Spoke directly with the restaurant to book & he phoned back to clarify . Just under before someone said they were shutting for Christmas & New Year - their last night was Monday 18th. I rang them constantly that evening with no answer, & I’ve rang them since. I have emailed them with out reply. I have never in my life had such poor customer service

Always a warm welcome, with simply the best food in the area. An amazing selection of fresh fish and some incredible steaks!

Quiet visit after lunch for meet up and drink with other local friends. Still out of season so not many tourists about yet, just how I like it. Great views over the harbour in the sun.
