The Jube in North Devon

Great place, tucked away but bright inside with natural light through the roof and lively with locals, dogs welcome, thanks we had a lovely lunch.

We always love going to the Jube, even out of season the food and service is just as amazing! Always our go to place when in Woolacombe. Especially for a cocktail! Very family friendly too when we take our 2 year old :)

Only place open... but food was good. Friendly staff and great bingo and quiz night.

Lovely atmosphere, attentive staff and plenty of beautifully freshly cooked food. We had the Lush combo and three small dishes....couldn't fault it.

My wife and I have eaten here many times as Woolacombe is like home to us. Lucky enough to be here again at Christmas and for my wife's birthday (30th) Dec... it's the only place she wanted to be! A long bracing walk along the beach with our dog, followed by the best burgers EVER at the Jube!! My wife had the 'just' and I had the 'blush Royale' - fabulous as ever. Always a lovely welcome from Charlotte who managed to get us a table at a very busy time.... all the staff are lovely and the vibe in the bar is just great! keep doing what you do guys.... we'll be back!

Stayed in Woolacombe for the Christmas week and this was the pub of choice and was visited most days during my weeks stay (sometimes twice in the same day - it was Christmas after all - Thatchers Zero Cider though so all good!) Even though it very much feels a pub for the locals, there was always a friendly welcome and a great atmosphere. Only ate here once on the first night but thoroughly enjoyed my meal (blue cheese burger). We commented several time how amazing it was what they were able to cook in such a small and open kitchen! If I'm ever back in the area, I'll certainly be popping in again!

What an amazing pub! We came in at 4.50 and it was absolutely heaving - however we were seen to very quickly and able to get a seat in about 5 minutes. The staff are amazing - considering how busy it was. It is not usual to see every member be so helpful and friendly sadly nowadays but it was very noticeable how lovely they all were. The food was also gorgeous. Definitely recommend!

If you go to Woolacombe go here! Whether you stop by for a quick drink, food or both this place is top notch. One of the nicest, cleanest, friendliest pub i have ever been too. Side note simply the best cheesy chips you will ever eat also. Dogs are welcome, staff are so attentive and friendly, go here you won't be disappointed.

Came on Boxing Day. The tunes were pumping and the atmosphere was🔥🔥 can always rely on the Jube to come up with a banging Xmas time night!

Popped in last week with our dog and we were made so welcome. Food was amazing and lots of vegan options. We will be back next year when we are on holiday again. Thank you for your hospitality.

We called in on a cold day after a long walk with the dogs. We received a very warm welcome. Food was fantastic, so good we went back the following day . Burgers and fish pie were a huge hit. The dogs even received a treat from the bar man .

Best Bar in Woolacombe by a mile! The staff are really friendly and polite, as well as this the drink selection is great. They also put on evening events, we went to the recent House and Disco night and had a really good time. Highly recommend this place to anyone in Woolacombe!

What a fantastic pub! It wouldn't be a trip to Woolacombe without visiting the Jube. They have a great selection of beers and the food is great for adults and kids. Most of all though, the atmosphere is lively and really friendly. The staff, including the owners, can't do enough for you even when they're busy. We'll be straight back in next time we're nearby.

Top marks for The Jube…what a quality place! We were blown away by the friendly, welcoming service from the moment we arrived. The brilliantly designed decor creates such a cozy and vibrant atmosphere, perfect for a relaxing meal. The food was well tasty and the cocktails packed a real punch! Me an my partner have been coming to North Devon for years and this is easily one of the best dining spots in the area without doubt! Def be coming again!

We ate here twice last week whilst on holiday in Woolacombe. Food was excellent. We sampled six different meals from the menu. Everything was perfect, piping hot and served quickly. One night the chef hung on for us to arrive. Very accommodating and look forward to returning when visiting again.

Basic all fried food. It was ok but food wise nothing special. The place was packed and it was an hours wait for food which we were made aware off on arrival but it is a nice lively place so we were not bored

Dog friendly, we had burgers. Chicken burgers ( rooster & Hunter ) beef blush spicy. What a burger best I've had for a while. £15 each but worth it. Nice bar restaurant and surfing on TV . Boom .

Great behind the street Jube pub..quite a surprise..tucked away behind the Woolacombe Bay Hotel..excellent menu and we had the super sharing platter..

We always love visiting The Jube. As frequent visitors when we are here is it great to see the same team still working hard and providing a great service. The food is always fabulous along with a friendly atmosphere. Wholeheartedly recommend visiting if you haven't.

We spent 5 nights in woolacombe week of 14th Oct 2024. This gorgeous place was somewhere we visited most nights! Lovely calming but contemporary decor, nice friendly vibe, and the food was plentiful and very good quality! All staff welcoming and friendly. If you’re visiting woolacombe, this is a must visit for just drinks or drinks and food .

What a lovely place. We dropped in for a midafternoon beer. The staff are truly amazing, warm and friendly. We had to go back for some food in the evening. 20 minute walk down there in the rain BUT it was well worth it! Their food is delicious. Well recommend the blush royale burger. Oh and they do neck oil!! Great pub, great staff, great beer, great food. Thanks guys

Yet another excellent evening in all aspects at The Jube. Being honest slightly over priced on a couple of tapas dishes but excellent quality.

Visited for scooter rally. The DJ outside was awfull.Too loud ,talking between and over records.People couldnt chat so went to other pubs.He cleared the place.Usually packed.Like a poor Tony Blackburn.

Great family pub, very busy, so be prepared to wait in the school holidays. Staff are very polite and work tirelessly to get your food out as quickly as possible.

Food is always good, 1hr 40 min wait for food is unacceptable even if they said before it could be 1hr 20. Children were starving.

Great place for food and drinks. This was the second time we visited after coming 2 years ago and was just as good as then. The food was incredible and good value for money. Such a lovely atmosphere too and the service was great! Think this will be our place to come each time we visit Woolacombe!!

We've just eaten at The Jube, burgers were lovely, tapas food was near perfect, food prices are very reasonable and beer is a little steep at £6 per pint, but staff are friendly, clearly well organised and the place looked clean.

I don't really want to review the jube because I enjoy being in the know.

Clean Outside seating Visited twice once for drinks other time for food in evening Unfortunately can’t book tables Was really busy our expectations of food wait time in the evening when we arrived was given on accepting a table but it went over that by nearly 30 mins The kitchen is quite small so no wonder there is a wait for food. But it was worth the wait 😃🍻

Went in for dinner and drinks. Everything was so nice and I would definitely recommend their cocktails. The atmosphere was great and a live band played later on in the evening.

On holiday in Woolacombe and the Europe football final was on. Decided to come here to watch it, ended up staying all evening, fantastic atmosphere, made to feel very welcome. We ordered some food, which was absolutely lovely and had far more to drink than was planned. All in a great night, just a shame England let the side down. But we had a great time.

Great food and accommodated my son's allergies. My son said it was his favourite place to eat.

First visit and was blown away with the place. Food was excellent and staff friendly. Will definitely return.

We ordered food at the bar but everyone was super friendly and helpful. Food was delicious, I had the sticky chilli chicken salad with a side of cheesy chips which was lovely. We went for lunch but ended up also going back in the evening for a few drinks they had a DJ and a good atmosphere

After a couple of drinks, we were wandering around hungry, and I found some footsteps on the floor, so obviously, I followed them, and what a result!!! Somewhere that hadn't stopped serving food till 5 pm like everywhere else seems too in woolacoombe. We had the sharing starter, and it was delicious and came out super quick as well!!! We also ordered a few cocktails wash each, and they were also really good. Would definitely recommend!!!

Lovely food and service in a nice setting

Nice lively place. Staff were really friendly. Food was really nice and actually had a lot of flavour. Slightly on the pricey side but definitely worth it! Draft pints were very good and fresh. Cocktails also nice. We'll hopefully be able to go once more before leaving.

Absolutely amazing! We visited twice on a rainy holiday day in April, the first in the afternoon for a drink and then we returned again in the evening. As a very honest review in the daytime when we popped in the drinks were 10/10 (probably on the more expensive side but we love a properly served drink so it definitely didn’t put us off returning). The only thing that could have made our experience was more attentive staff, when we left they all had their back to us on their phones so we couldn’t say by or thank them for our drinks. There was no acknowledgment we’d left! We popped back in the evening and the place was so busy which was amazing, drinks were again delicious and we weren’t particularly hungry but ended up ordering 2 of their delicious salads after seeing them served to the table next to us - the best salads we’d ever had!! Highly recommended, lovely decor and we would definitely return♥️

Lovely place. Seems very popular. Was just a quick pop in for us. Enjoyed 2 ales, which we were able to sample first. Always a win. Kindness and guaranteed to enjoy your visit. The food did look good.. sneaky peaks at others plates. But we had already eaten. Recommend a visit.

Found this place on Easter Sunday as looking for somewhere to eat. They don't take reservations for a table so you take pot luck. We got a place within a few minutes and so enjoyed the scampi and chips - best we've had and such a large portion. Staff friendly and cheerful. Will definitely look to return later in the year as menu and food coming out of the kitchen looked amazing.

Nice pub with a relaxed atmosphere and very good food. Highly recommended the crispy chilli beef as it's the best I've had, even from any Chinese place. This wasn't the only tasty thing. It was all tasty! The S+P squid, hot wings, and of course the Blush Royale burger, and my wife enjoyed the Sticky chilli chicken salad. It's definitely a hidden gem and a great discovery. If back in the area, we will be sure to return.

Just looking to grab a quick bite to eat whilst passing through the town. However, loved the place, wonderful food friendly staff. Could have stayed the whole night.
