Fantastic selection of food with great service from the waiter. He was really helpful with any questions we had and topped our water several times. There is a good selection of dishes all with distinct flavours, there is so much worth trying.

!Buenísima! Came for my birthday and not disappointed. Lovely setting and very attentive staff. Stand out dishes were chipirones a la plancha and carrilladas. Patatas braves so crunchy and bread warm from the oven. Nice relaxed evening away from the hustle and bustle of chain restaurants.

Some of the best tapas food in bath! High quality food and ingredients everything was delicious! I couldn’t recommend it enough the fried squid is to die for! And the Oxtail was unbelievable so tender!! Servers are very helpful and give great recommendations!

Our meal at La Perla was 10/10. The tapa dishes were very delicious and authentic. The restaurant was very intimate and cosy, and the staff were very attentive. The croquette selection and pork cheek dishes were one of my favourites, aswell as the sangria!

Buzzy atmosphere. Generous portions. Great flavours. We had a great evening here and would return. Service was attentive and friendly. Chef is Spanish so food feels more authentic than other places I’ve visited.

The 2nd time I’ve been here and again it was excellent. The food was cooked to order and fast! The chef was lovely, and chatty. We had the Gambas fritas, patatas bravas and chorizo and all three were presented beautifully and tasted divine. The atmosphere was lovely considering it was only Tuesday. Another great experience and will definitely get a third visit in when back on the area.

We walked off the street and we're welcomed. Our waiter was fabulous, helping us to understand Tapas and the items on the menu. The prawns were scrumptious, the pork was extremely tender, melting in the mouth. The chestnut puree and cheese sauce were a superb complement to the pork. The atmosphere began quietly and grew in energy as more people came into the restaurant. It was the perfect way to celebrate a significant day.

This restaurant La Perla was recommended to me by a Norwegian woman and it was fantastic! So glad that I went. The food was delicious and the restaurant itself is warm and beautiful.

Great relaxing atmosphere. Patatas Bravas were exceptional. Harry was very attentive.

Food very average, had much better tapas. Some was tasteless, all quite greasy. Our waiter was good but generally they took zero pride in their work and looked completely disinterested. Decor and ambience was dated and had nothing about it. Food came out in seconds of ordering so wasn’t cooked to order. Pricey for what it was. Won’t be going back.

I read the odd negative reviews with interest. Plenty of mental illness out there —n’est ce pas? ( French) Anyway it’s a 5 star from us. I knew it was Spanish straight away as there were castanets hanging on the wall. The tapas was great. The service pleasant without being ‘ en tu cara’. ( Spanish) Well done team Perla.

This is our second time here. We think it is a must visit should you want the most delicious tapas in Bath, served by amazingly friendly staff and in an atmospheric vaulted space. But the true star of this restaurant is their paella! The seafood paella is the best ever we have tasted, and we have tasted many around the world! The chef takes his time cooking it to perfection, using the best red prawns, octopus and mussels, creating a caramelised crust, giving the dish an added dimension for texture and taste! Our server squeezed all the goodness from the prawn heads into the paella to give that extra punch. It's no wonder that the chef won second place in a world paella competition 3 months ago 👍

Literally, the BEST tapas I have ever had!! I do alot of travelling, plenty in Spain and I'm stunned by this hidden gem in Bath. Perfect atmosphere, outstanding quality food, service friendly and food was beautifully presented. Accompanied by some very tasty cocktails, certainly try the chocolate martini. Truly perfect. I wish we had this restaurant in my home city.

This is the second time we've visited Bath and we have been to La Perla both times, it is absolutely the best restaurant in Bath. The food is incredible and the cocktails are perfection. Atmosphere and staff are delightful. We'll be back again next year.

5 stars because I couldn’t find a fault. Food was great, lovely flavours. A lot of fish and chorizo dishes on the menu. The staff were friendly and attentive and the atmosphere was perfect. It was lovey and quiet on a Tuesday night. All in all a great experience.

All I can truly say about this place, is it is fully the best meal myself and my family have had in Bath. I have visited Spain, I have visited lanzarote and I have worked with Spanish chefs in the industry, not one restaurant elsewhere can come close to the flavours in La Perla’s menu. To top it all off, if you are lucky enough to have Fredrick serving you, you will have struck gold. 10/10, 5 star

I came to La Perla with no idea what to expect, as we only found it on Google half an hour before we arrived. From the Food to the drinks to the service, I can’t think of a place I have been in the 20 years I have lived in Bath that I can compare in quality. Amazing Tapas, and incredible service.
