Visited at lunchtime on a Sunday before a concert. Food was fresh, tasty and varied. I noticed before going that some people said it was expensive- I would disagree based on quality and size of portions. You can easily have a main between two with only adding a starter or I would recommend the meze platter. In picture is half chicken, meze platter and an empty plate from a tasty salad.

I went with my family to this restaurant, at first I was a little afraid of not liking the dishes, but I was really surprised! The dishes were really delicious, I ordered a grilled chicken with chips, it was really juicy! We really liked it! The service was impeccable! I recommend this restaurant!

The food was very good, service was okay. Everything was cooked well and had great flavors and tasted fresh! The prices are a bit higher than I expected compared to similar places around, but the portion sizes were large. All round good food!

Top draw restaurant and great find, lolas up the road was full so gave Gogo a shot and really glad we did. Slight variation on regular Lebanese/Turkish fair being a Kurdish, bringing they're own unique blend of spices, complimented by that famously warm Kurdish welcome. Food was excellent, perfectly cooked, spiced and beautifully presented, from the spiced grilled chicken to the delicious nan bread, everything was perfect. Enjoyed with a delicious floral kudish and washed down with a traditional kurdish coffee all at a reasonable price given the quality. Will be returning regularly 👌

Service from Hamid and Ibo was amazing! Food was great and the GoGo platter (10-11persons) is something I highly recommend. This is definitely a hidden and underrated restaurant on Gloucester Road. Thank you for hosting such a large group and given us an outstanding service!

I invited my friend to this beautiful restaurant They were very welcoming and nice. The food was high quality it was one of these best meals I’ve ever had that’s what all my friends thought too. Thanks to the manager he’s very kind and welcoming. You guys deserve ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The food itself is cooked very well however they have forgotten the sauces which have been added part of the order which has made it less enjoyable than normal, the food is well seasoned. It is just a bit on the drier side that I would have wished. Especially given I paid extra for sauce as well.

I’ll have to honest that we didn’t plan for this but had to try this since we were not getting seats in Lona. But i will have to say that we were happily surprised with the food and top quality service. We ordered a family platter, chicken nuggets with chips and fruit shoot along with a okra curry , spicy hummus and pot of Kurdish tea. Lentil soup was on the house along with amazing salad😋😋😋😋 The kebabs were so fresh and tasty. The rice and bulgul alone tasted so good . The bread was out of the world . We had to order one more. Finally the quantity was more than 4 people could eat and we had to take it back home. The pot of kurdish tea was like icing on the cake. Someone like me who don't like tea was blown away by the taste as they mix 6 different tea with cardamom and cinnamon to make this tea with amazing aroma The salads breads , rice and tea were much better than Lona to be really honest .. The other items were definitely on par with the restaurant. We couldnt fault even a single item that we ordered.. Please do try and you will 100% come again atleast for the wonderful service by cameron❤️

Had a birrhday party for 25 people here at short notice so we had the upstairs party room. Evening generally went well, food was enjoyable and came out at a good time, and the waitresses were nice and helpful. It's only at the end the owner came and told us abruptly we had to leave and that we would be charged £60 for overstaying (initially never told us we had a 2 hour slot). We never paid this but felt as we were literally forced out before we could even cut the cake for the 8 year old birthday girl. We ended up overpaying for a an extra meal that we didn't have as well Awful way to treat guests who have just spent £400. Good restaurant but the owner/manager needs to be mindful with how he deals with his guests.

A Mediterranean salad to start followed by a Mixed grill - 3 large skewers with fries served with dips and of course and refreshed with a mint tea before leaving - great value for money . Generous portions and a welcoming vibe - great for solo dining , friends, work colleagues and families. Was a great experience.. be warned tho lol they don’t serve alcohol

Best Middle Eastern restaurant in Bristol by far, the people were so friendly, food was amazing, went for my sister’s birthday. Everything we asked for was done. The ribs were tender, rice soft and fluffy , amazing hummus. Definitely coming back soon !!

Food was nice ,came quickly not much time or delayed .🙂 Ordered chilli hummus with naan , tabuli salad , chops with fries and platter for two which was nice and cooked well. At the end ordered kurdish tea which was so refreshing . Overall nice food and place .

The lambs shank, quazi on the menu, is delicious with their sides! Chicken wings are also mouthwatering, and not as spicy as I thought but their side sauce makes up for it. Always a good place to return to as you can trust their food quality will stay the same

This restaurant is recommended when you want a cosy environment with delicious aromatic food the service was lovely and the boss was absolutely hilarious cracking jokes to entertain us. But the highlight of the visit to this restaurant was where the boss had drawn a smiley face with the tomato ketchup but overall I recommend this restaurant.

Wonderful place, friendly staff delicious food.

Food is delicious and very filling. They gave us a beautiful soup on the house to begin with! Great seating and atmosphere. Bathrooms very clean. They also offer free complimentary Turkish delight and lollipops at the end of the meal. Special thanks to the young lad who was on point with service!

Greeted with friendly staff , food served promptly. Food was fresh and hot Eveything was delicious , ordered more than we thought we could eat due to the portion sizes. Had to pack away food as it was too good to waste. Can’t really complain apart from the lack of parking available near by.

My friends and I booked the upstairs hall as a leaving do for one of our friends . Unfortunately the experience was appalling and dreadful . The manager/owner was so rude and horrible to us. He didn’t fulfil his promises which included : having two waitresses , banning men from going upstairs for any reason ,getting the mains out with the starters. Instead he decided to be rude and argued that he never said these things! Furthermore , some comments he made were racist and very insulting. At some point , he even kicked us out of the restaurant and that was primarily because my friend asked for soft drinks as it was extremely hot because apparently the upstairs fan were on but not working properly due to the extreme heat ! Saying that ,when food eventually came out , it was actually nice but we were not in the mood to eat because it came out really late and the manager managed to annoy us all by raising his voice and asking us to leave !!! The waitress was hard working and did her best. The waiters were very friendly and apologetic. I would never go there again due to the awful management!

I booked the private party room upstairs for a leaving do for a friend. The organisation and service were appalling. The owner instead of apologising was actually extremely rude and has no hospitality or civility. He shouted at us and asked us to cancel the party and leave when we asked for drinks which was shocking behaviour. He also made unacceptable racist remarks. Even though the food was nice and the room is acceptable, he ruined the night for us from bad organisation to rudeness and very poor service. Absolutely disgusting and a disappointment. What a shame - it could have been a real success. I will reply to the reply below: I did thank the lady who served us because we were told 2 ladies would serve us which didn’t happen so she did it all alone, so I can understand why she looked fed up and frustrated whenever she served us But was polite. It was hot and we were told that the fan is on max when it wasn’t even turned on and then turned on 1 1/2 hrs later which is not acceptable. The food arrived late and the dessert was placed on the tables without removing the dishes. Also not acceptable. ‘Disagreement with the owner’ is an understatement. His rudeness and humiliation ruined the special evening for my friend and all of us there. No hospitality or civility shouting at customers and asking them to leave in the middle of their event. How disgraceful. Similar comments made by other customers and reviewers. Absolutely disgusting behaviour and manners from the owner as well as unacceptable racist remarks. I would not recommend having a party there. You will probably not get what you are promised and disappointment.

Food was delicious. Customer service is ok. Only negative was salad was given at the start without any bread or any sauces or dips. Usually dips / sauces and bread are given before food is served this case just a plate of salad put on the table. Food took a unusually long time to serve considering there were no other diners in. Was rather hot and the AC was switched off when asked if they could be switched on were told they didnt work! How strange But over all the manager was friendly a d food was delicious. Would definitely recommend for the food. Will visit again.

This place is a new favourite! The food is absolutely delicious, fresh and full of flavour. The portions are big and everything is so fresh! We passed by Gogo a few days before and went inside and the young server offered us some menus and was really helpful with my allergy queries. He was kind, polite and very welcoming! Today we came to actually have some food, takeaway on this occasion, and we where greated by a different server that was a welcoming, polite and kind as the previous one! While we waited for the food, he offered us some delight! That was a lovely touch. Had a nice chat while the food was being prepared. The food came out fast and at home we discovered massive portions ofamazing quality and value for money. I highly recommend this place and surely we'll be back for some more. Already spread the word with friends!

Go Go Lounge Mediterranean is a fantastic restaurant that I recently visited with a group of my Work Colleagues. The atmosphere is cozy and although it was quiet inside we had an amazing time, the Waitress was also very quick and always checked in with us. The food was absolutely delicious, especially the hummus and the Salmon. Yum! It's the perfect spot for a nice lunch with friends. I highly recommend Go Go Lounge Mediterranean!

Food was amazing. Great portions (could have fed 6 people), very flavourful food, from succulent and juicy meats. To refreshing dips and sides (we ordered extra Halloumi). The taste was reminiscent of Turkey, I would highly rate GoGo Lounge and would go again. Final shout out to the staff. Waiters were very attentive and made sure we had everything we ordered. A good Halal spot if you find yourself in Bristol.
