My daughter and I have been here many times, the food is always excellent, well presented, value for money, and the atmosphere relaxed,and the staff are always very obliging, we have never been disappointed with our meals.

This is a little gem nestled in the heart of bustling north st, I’ve lived in Ashton all my life , and la Mediterranean has been there for quite some time ! I can’t believe I’ve only just visited this place to eat !! The staff were very pleasant and welcoming ! The chef looked like he was enjoying his cooking , it was a nice vibe :) The food came and it looked amazing !! A big portion of lamb cutlets new potatoes and salad, my wife had salmon which also looked great , My lamb was tender and cooked to perfection ! The food was also very reasonably priced and the service was great , we will be back for sure 👌🏽 Thanks la Mediterranean ❤️

Food was bang average. Service was strange. One bloke very willing but over worked whilst the other was useless and didn't really seem to know what was going on.

DISPPOINTED. SUNDAY, 28 JANUARY 2024; SERVED WITH CHICKPEA TAGINE. MEAN, MEAN, MEAN PORTION SIZE, VERY FEW CHICKPEAS, NOT MUCH BULGAR WHEAT OR SALAD. "ALDI" BRANDED(!) TOMATO SAUCE, MAYO, ETC., AVAILABLE ON TABLE. CHEAP, CHEAP, CHEAP! SLOW SERVICE. ONE TO AVOID IN FUTURE.

Out for a meal with 8 friends for a birthday celebration after a local rugby derby victory, food as always top notch & plentiful & very tasty. Service attentive even though the restaurant was very busy. Food hot, drinks cold at a reasonable price, would definitely recommend.

I'm not sure why the waiter was so unhappy, perhaps he needs to be off one day. The waiter was on the phone with speaker and speaking foreign langurage all the time while he was taking our order. Meanwhile, he took the order wrong. Food was average, mains arrived before starters was finished.Based on what we experienced. Overall for what was served there are much better places in Bristol for the money.

Used to really like this Cyprus restaurant and come here for a quick bite. I went in for something to eat with my other half. Member of the staff was eating his meal with his fingers. It wasn't very nice when we having our food. he was also rude. Unfortunately, I won’t be back!

Lovely local eatery. It has a very homely feel and a great menu of mostly Greek and Italian dishes but with a few other Mediterranean classics. Everything we ordered was good, the borek was outstanding. Service was friendly and prices very reasonable indeed. It made a great early stop before heading to the Tobacco Factory. Highly recommend and we'll be back when next in the area.

This is one of the best places to eat in Bristol and Nortb Street. We have been coming to The Med for 4 years now and always had great service and food. All the staff go above and beyond and are so welcoming, kind and great at their jobs. The food is also great value and delicious. Freshly cooked and tastes amazing. We just had a baby and we can bring the pram in and they are so accommodating always. Amazing value and a lovely local atmosphere but above all the staff are so great and welcoming.

I can honestly say, I have never been treated so terribly in a restaurant. I came here last week with my partner and was absolutely appalled by the treatment we received. On our arrival, we were made to feel extremely unwelcome (should’ve left there and then, but you live and you learn!). Waitress explained that there was just one table by the window available, but the manner in which she said it and looked at us, was full of hostility. We sat down and waited a very long time for 2 wraps. I was not feeling 100% and decided I’d rather eat at home, after around a 40 minute wait. I went over to the waitress to ask would it be okay to have the food as a takeaway. She aggressively turned round and said ‘I explained to YOUR FACE that it was going to be a long wait, your food is now ready!”(While literally pointing aggressively in my face). I was absolutely astonished, I walked back to the table in shock. A second staff member came over to the table around 5/10 minutes later, again asked if we wanted a takeaway (as if it was a massive issue). I once again explained that I needed to get home for personal reasons, so if I could please have my food as a takeaway? I do not understand why this was such an issue. So eventually another 5/10 minutes went by, the food came out, we paid and left. We opened the food at home to find two very underwhelming, tasteless wraps and freezer chips. 0/5. Will NEVER return. Edit for response ** Once again, condescending and passive aggressive response - just as we were treated in your premises. Trying to put the blame back onto your customer for your awful hospitality - I wouldn’t advise that in such a public forum. Regardless of the diabolical service we received, the food is just pretty poor and I wouldn’t recommend.

Dined in this place several times and always enjoyed. Friendly staff, relaxed environment and very nice food, more like a home cooking with a reasonable price. Efficient service, delicious foods and good value for money. Highly recommended Update: it's now more than a decade that we have dined here many many times and it's still as good if not better. The food was top notch and the service was great. We are already planning to go again. My husband is a very fussy eater and he enjoyed every mouthful. He hasn't stopped going on about it.

So difficult to find a good homecooked restaurant nowadays. This is a little gem in Bedminster. It's hidden amongst all the other eateries on North Street. Excellent customer service, nothing is any trouble. Kush makes you feel so welcome, and the other staff are great too. The food is freshly made and I go out of my way to visit, sit on its sunny patio (when it is sunny that is) and treat myself to its food. The Mezze plate is my favourite but I've tried most of the menu and it's all delicious and well presented. It has toilets, wifi and is child and dog friendly - what are you waiting for?

Really cracking spot which is beautifully decorated! The prices are so reasonable and the portions are big (veggie breakfast for £8)! It’s not amazing quality but you get what you pay for. The staff are also lovely.

Excellent staff, let down a bit by the kitchen. I ordered moussaka which seemed a bit undercooked, had chunks of aubergine, and a random potato, covered with loads of cheese. Sadly it didn't resemble any moussaka I've had before.

My family decided to try this place for a meal with visiting family. We are so glad we did, saturday so booked a table. We ate sea bass and chicken. The food was excellent, indeed memorable. service and attitude of staff faultless. This is reasonably priced with a 5 star delivery. What a find! A lucky discovery.

Lovely informal no frills eatery offering a warm welcome. I had the meat mezze - wonderful. My companions had the veggie mezze and lamb chops, respectively. I rate this place highly and have eaten here on many occasions.

Come in here often. Really reasonable prices, cocktails only £6.50 in oppose to town where they’d be £10 more or less. Great food and atmosphere. Very welcoming and kindly let me charge my phone in there too. Toilets and free wifi. Been a few times now will pop in again. Only criticism is I wish they had a choice of peppercorn sauce to go with the steak. Curious to try the other dishes/mains too. All in all great little place :)

Live locally and not sure why this was first trip - won't be last. Excellent food, well priced and warm, friendly service. We don't have huge appetites and sharing a prawn starter and meat mezze main was enough for 2 of us - though couldn't resist a sneaky baclava to finish. Reasonable and well priced drinks selection. With lots of excellent eating places locally we are spoilt but this one goes on our list!

As soon as I walked in, someone welcomed me and the service was attentive but not overwhelming the whole way through. Large and varied menu including mezze and full English breakfast. Restaurante mediterraneo parecido a griego. Pedimos un desayuno con salmon que llevaba 3 rodajas de salmon que daban para media tostada escasa. El sabor era bueno pero es muy poca cantidad para lo que cuesta. En lugar de poner el pepino podrian poner mas cantidad de salmon que es el ingrediente principal del plato. El segundo plato era pollo con arroz. El arroz no tenia sabor aunque el pollo estaba aceptable. Quizás el arroz podria tener algo mas de condimento. El servicio es muy amable y eficiente. El restaurante tiene una terraza y es agradable el interior pero la valoracion esta sobrevalorada.

Great little place. Nicer than the bigger places on North Street

We ordered salmon breakfast (which was a toast with cheese and 4 slices of smoked salmon) and chicken souvlaki. A bit more of salmon was expected for £8. Chicken was not properly cooked and rice seemed to be reheated and tasteless. Staff was friendly and decoration was good and reminds you of the Mediterranean countries. Price was ok though.

What a delicious surprise of tastes and ingredients! From the first bite to the last one you will enjoy different meals so far from the classic pizza or burger. If you want to eat something else, and something really good, come and eat! I recommend it to you so much that this restaurant could be a part of a tourist guide.

Easily the best cafe on North street! I go here all the time. Great food, cocktails, very dog-friendly, fair prices, and it's run by a family of absolute sweethearts. Skip the boring chains and try some delicious Cypriot food on their little sunny patio!

Had late afternoon dinner at La Mediterranean,Staff were really friendly and helpful,food was very good and was great value for money.Chicken Souvlaki's were very good and so were the Baklava desserts. It was a hot day and was very warm sat inside.Would recommend some fans to help keep customers cooler on hot days otherwise I would've given you 5stars. All things considered a nice little place. Thank you La Mediterranean for looking after our group of 4.

The food and service was excellent there was a great variety on the menu and what we are (mousaka and lasagne) was home made absolutely delicious and great portions.

Found this place by chance. A varied menu themed around the Mediterranean. Greek and Cypriot dishes. The meat mezze dish was fantastic according to my partner. I had steak, as I'm not keen on lamb, it was cooked as I requested and the porcini sauce that came with it , was delicious. Very reasonably priced as well. Definitely worth a visit ☺

Most of the decent Greek restaurants in Bristol have long dice disappeared but now one is back, this place is amazing, from the waiter in the baseball cap serving us who was absolutely brilliant, all the staff were really good but this guy was great, first off we ordered too much foo as the portions are goo, we had. Calamari. Prawns Whitebait Mixed grill Pitta bread. garlic mushrooms Amazing garlic mayo tzatziki Houmous.. 10/10 definitely going back.

Very busy when we visited, Killers at Aston Gate, therefore had to wait at least 40 minutes for our food to be served. Very nice but nothing special. Mayo and vinegar put on the table in their bottles, so felt like we were in a average cafe rather than a restaurant. Prices reasonable for what you get.

Found a table here last minute..what a wonderful meal. Piping hot, tasty and good value. I had the moussaka and my hubby had lasagna. Highly recommended

Well disappointed had a gourmet sandwich there was nothing gormet about it. Stale bread I wish cafes would learn the difference between seeded bread and granary. I could of got a better sandwich in the Tesco value range. The chicken wrap was dry and chips underdone. Was hungry so ate it but the staff were misrable and the service and food was shocking

Decent food at affordable prices

A great option on North Street for freshly-cooked Mediterranean food. There’s an affordable lunch menu (wraps, sandwiches etc) plus a full menu for lunch and dinner. They also do breakfast but haven’t tried it. Friendly and efficient staff.

Called in for a late lunch, food and service was excellent, the lamb cutlets were to die for, in fact all the food was delicious 😋

Mothers Day family lunch on Sunday 27 March 2022. My first trip to this lovely family run restaurant. The staff are really attentive and friendly, the pricing is extremely reasonable (£15 for a bottle of house wine) and the food was excellent. Will definitely be heading back!
