Nothing special, just an ordinary donner n chips n wraps.. they got fancy names for the food but the taste n the actual thing is just an ordinary doner wraps n chips.

Delicious vine leaves wraps served by friendly people in a wonderful cosmopolitan atmosphere.

Very bland food and barely any meat on the plates.

Greek style food is good and quite abundant and economical. Not bad to fill your stomach if you are passing through.

Ordered a click & collect on Saturday evening and have to say the service was very pleasing with the food being cooked just before our collection time to make sure it was still hot and fresh. I had pork gyros which was very well cooked and not at all chewy which some takeaway pork places can be like. The chicken sauce was unique and worked really well with the pitta and chips that was included. We did get a portion of the courgette nugget things (sorry can’t remember what they were called) - but they were really nice tasting and fresh. You get a substantial amount of food for the price so will certainly be recommending and returning.

My friends have been recommending this place for ages but I always assumed I wouldn't be accommodated for very well (as I'm vegan). All I can say is I wish I tried it sooner. There's a couple options I had the choice of and it was delicious! I'm keen to go again soon.

Tried the falafel/ hummus and halloumi wraps. Large wrap filling for 2 adults!!! Interesting flavours of Cookies but weren't as tasty as it looked.

Would be a lovely meal if there was some meat in the gyros. It was full of chips but meat just for sampling. This is the large chicken gyro for 10.45. Very disappointed.

The food was quite mid to be honest, does the job if you are hungry after a late one, but that's about it really.

Items ordered were unfortunately not what was listed on the menu when they arrived. Very unfortunate as the quality at Taka Taka is usually so good!! 😭 Halloumi salad missing multiple ingredients (which made it less than 2/3rds of its usual portion size), only one of two dips arrived with our chicken cheese combo, lastly the cold-slaw had probably been left, out so was very dry and definitely past it's best... We will still be back to eat here again, I just hope the quality improves ❤️

Fuimos al Taka Taka en Broadquay - Taka Taka solía ser muy bueno, barato y popular. El servicio era terrible, la máquina de pedidos no funcionaba así que los pedidos no estaban pasando. El personal era poco servicial y la comida estaba demasiado cocinada y sosa. ¡No voy a volver!

Went to heat up my leftovers today and found a large amount of pork in my halloumi skepasti. Food hygiene and processes must be awful. Not worth the risk if you don’t eat meat. Edited: to add there was a nice bit of blue roll in there too, yummy.

Must of been taken over. My wrap was mostly chips and no salad. Gone downhill but definitely will catch the new students coming in. Disappointed

Exceptionally authentic Greek street food, in terms of taste and quantity. Great value for money, highly recommended!

This is a must for your bucket list. Walked in there and felt at home straight away. Massive portions of proper greek food with the best service ever. They go above and beyond. Cheers fellas will be back good job

Llevé a mi hija a cenar después de un viaje de compras temprano por la noche a taka taka en Rupert Street. El personal era horrible y grosero. Un hombre me miró debido a la confusión sobre el pedido, ya que nunca he estado en taka taka antes. Me pareció bastante intimidante ya que los hombres que trabajaban allí esa noche obviamente estaban resentidos por estar allí. La comida que pedí se veía y sabía muy bien pero esta mañana me ha dejado con un malestar estomacal , pedí mayo pero terminé con salsa de chile picante, no iba a acercarme al personal para variar a mayo por la forma en que me trataban. No recomendaría comer aquí y he hablado a familiares y amigos sobre mi experiencia. Bristol está lleno de lugares increíbles para comer, pero el taka taka no será un lugar al que iría nunca más.

Doors open, music on, staff are in at 10:45 but I got told to go away because they're closed. If you're closed shut your doors

Used to be good, This time terrible, i was the only person in there, took them 15 mins!! to work the till, old guy (cook) picking and eating chicken of the kebab cooking, even tho i told them i dont eat meat, and then not washing his hand after making my falafel roll. Food was terrible burnt bread, mountains of tzaziki, stale tough falefel. I wont be going again. to top it off over charged me £2

Stay away! Taka Taka in Bristol leaves much to be desired, offering a disappointing dining experience. Overall, Taka Taka fails to meet even the most basic expectations of a dining establishment, making it a regrettable choice for any meal.

Tasty Greek souvlaki and gyros. Generous portions. My Greek husband and daughters loved the food. All enjoyed. Would definitely recommend!

First visit and also the last! Very little food for a lot of money. My pita almost didn't have meat inside, but only fries. Bought a large one, for an extra £3 and i didn't think it was particular large. Again the issue is the lack of meat i side the wrap. The bread wrap was nice and soft. All the rest was tasteless… Bought also a very small salad for £7.50. It was not seasoned very well. Basically a very disappointing take away. Never again

Food was quick and freshly grilled. The tzatziki is To Die For. Plenty of veggie options and they don't skimp on portion sizes. Definetly going next time I'm on the Triangle.

Didn't even get a chance to try the food. First time visiting so was unsure what they offer so waited patiently at the counter just for the young man to point at the self service machine. I explained I wanted to pay cash to be told its kiosk order only. Very unhelpful and poof attitude from the staff yet another business not taking cash as payment and not allowing customers to be served by a human being.

The tall boy with the mullet who worked Saturday night is low-key the unsung hero at this place, so under appreciated you deserve a raise. The only one who knew about the glutenators. #prayingforyouking (don't come here if u are a student the chips are £5)

Brilliant Greek-style Takeaway. Loved the gyros and souvilaki; chicken (Halal) and Pork. Really tasty food at a decent price. Had the Skepasti, which hit the spot after a few pints. Seasoned chips are amazing. Halloumi is also very good. Looking forward to going back and trying more of gyros dishes, traditional greek dishes, and bakery. Good service. Seating. Toilet. Definitely recommend if you're a fan of Greek food and need a late night spot 🇬🇷

Incopetent personnel. They put the wrong meat in my takeaway sandwich. It was a poor experience for me, I won't return again.

The food was okay. But I would rate 3/10 to the customer service. All of them are polite except the white chubby guy with earring. He’s rude and don’t have common sense. Taka taka owner, please send him to customer service class. Disappointing.

Not Happy at all with the food. It was cold and mainly consist of either fatty gristle or dry meat and tzatziki. Very disappointing and left hungry as couldn’t eat

Whats to complain about. Every since this was magic roll the food has been on point and a welcome change to late night offerings of pizza or kebab only. The sour cherry drink is a must to try.

I ordered a Meatless Burger Wrap to take away and was highly disappointed. For £7.95, it was more than half just chips in the wrap, and they tasted like they were cooked quite a while ago. A little salad was included and a three small burger balls. Terrible value for money.

Me and my colleagues used to love taka taka bit it's gone downhill. What have they done to their food? It's disgusting now. So disappointing.

Absolutely love this Greek restaurant, food is amazing, really good selection, chips are incredible and my favourite dish skepasti. And all the grilled meat is amazing too. The service is always good and friendly. Great choice of desserts. Good selection of drinks, but mainly it’s all about the delicious food with generous portions. After a night out I love to go to this place and even have on a regular day it’s a treat to get a meal here. I keep coming back to this place as the food is so good. And sometimes I would just get some desserts to take home and it’s a delight with a coffee or a tea. The prices are good for what you get.

Quality and quantity has become like shavings of meat. Payed extra for the loaded fries.... definitely not worth it. Need to up the potions of meat content. Otherwise people will stay away because I won't be back... Son payed £47 for 4 meals ...2 wraps and a large loaded fries and a bowl meal

Taka taka is such a Bristol classic being open late makes it the perfect place to visit after a night out. It is also great for a quick and easy dinner, however, my last couple of visits have been disappointing, had a haloumi rap which the haloumi was under cooked and very salty. Will be back but bit disappointed that the quality seems to have gone down but the prices have gone up.

Food was delivered late 30 min and cold when it arrived. Driver refused to come to my flat door on 5th floor because “he didn’t know where to go” even tho he had exact address on the order form! Very unhappy and disappointed

These guys used to be good, forever increasing prices and making worse food. Can't get an order right, always receive meat when I have ordered something vegetarian. Used to be so good and used to be a staple as a student in this city, but is pretty rubbish these days.

When ordered delivery time said it would be 20-35 mins, ended up being 1hour 45 mins, and the food was cold on arrival.

What can I say..I had to rush to the bathroom 15 minutes after eating my meal. The fries in one of the meals were greasy, hard and had no filling? Won’t order from here again unfortunately.

Taka Taka was the best delivery we had whilst staying in Bristol for two weeks. The food was great and delivered quickly.

I used to go to this place and i loved their food so much specially the chicken gyros and halloumi fries. But last time the chicken gyros was horrible and the sandwich was full of chicken skin!!

This place used to be so so good! I used to get magic rolls for lunch regularly when I worked in the area. Just revisited for the first time in a while and it’s such a shame to see that that prices have gone up enormously but quality has gone down hill. £10.50 for a wrap with a couple of meatballs in is excessive imo.

Customer service rude , I eat in and serve me in a box no plate no cutlery table dirty ,don't recommend ,the girl don't gave any atencion my order disgusting Customer service!

Excellent halloumi wrap meal. Well cooked and finished with tzatziki and the most delicious seasoned fried. Trio of sweets were beautiful with well made baklava.

Awful. Ordered a chicken wrap. No salad at all inside and meat was incredibly salty. Cost £7.50, and put it in the bin.

The food is pretty good. Staff were very nice. Chicken was a tad chewy, but overall great. Saver wrap and a can was only £6.50. Desserts are a little overpriced, but I’m not sure of the quality, as the wrap was filling enough.

Lid was off the food when delivered so I had a carrier bag of food. Very disappointing. Not their fault but so frustrating

While visiting Bristol, I stopped at this place to have dinner. The restaurant was wonderful and the staff extremely friendly and helpful. Should I get the chance again, I will visit it in the future.
