We booked through First Table, it was our first visit here and we were impressed. The cocktails were sublime, the starters were plentiful (I couldn’t finish mine as I wanted to enjoy my main meal too!) and the servers were excellent. Despite an event happening in the back room with 30-40 people and only 2 people serving food and drinks, we didn’t feel as if we were left waiting. They were very attentive. I would definitely recommend the Masala fish and chips! Gorgeous!!

Wonderful service and friendly staff. We had the strawberry bonbon cocktail (photo added to this review) it was sweet and refreshing. Perfect balance of flavours. For starters we had the halloumi bites and the sausage and black pudding roll, both were little flavour and the portion sizes were great. For mains we had the sirloin steak with chunky chips and the cheese and bacon burger with french fries, the steak I had well done and was perfectly cooked. Wish I could have finished it all as it was delicious. The burger was wonderful and had a chilly jam in it that I felt perfectly complimented the saltiness of the cheese and bacon. We also had the sourdough with butter, olive oil and balsam and vinegar which was lovely to have on the side to share and we would recommend it. Overall a lovely experience and would definitely go back again.

The food was lovely, the service (Tyrone) was exemplary (very friendly and efficient) and the decor was lovely, however the atmosphere would have been even better if it were a little busier.

Great restaurant with excellent food and service! Visited for lunch after a graduation event based on being near the university and previous good reviews. We were surprised how empty it was given how busy the city was with graduations but it meant we had almost personal attentive service from a lovely guy and the food was all excellent too (particularly my perfectly cooked seabass)! Excellent Orchard Pig (and Aspalls) cider on draft to top it off - we'll definitely return when next in Bristol!

Well if we didn’t have a 2 year old ( who behaved empeccably ) I would have argued the bill even after discount. Given a bottle of Prosecco after total mess of starters ( that we didn’t want or drink ) the mains were a shambles ordered 4 lamb mixed grills but only had one thing on the list of meats. Ridiculous !!!! Still charged for 3 &1/2 after complaint … wtf … a plate of koftas for £22 a head ridiculous. Would we go back No we would not and please don’t waste your hard earned money there …. Brother visited to take sister out for 30th Sadly disappointed

Robi gave us amazing service, as a server myself I can say she is a massive benefit to the team :) Only Problem is that at the end of our brunch, the metal handle to the disabled toilet had snapped off and cut my finger and left my trapped for a short while inside.

A Perfect Birthday Celebration at Lost&Found I chose Lost&Found for a special dinner to celebrate my partner’s birthday, and it turned out to be a fabulous decision. Our manager, Hattica (I hope I spelled her name correctly), along with her colleagues, made our evening delightful. To add a surprise element, I arranged a cake to be delivered beforehand. When the staff approached our table singing “Happy Birthday” and carrying the cake, my family was overjoyed. This warm gesture was indeed memorable. We ordered a steak and amixed grill of lamb, both of which were exceptionally prepared. The quality of the food was stunning; from the flavors to the presentation, everything upheld the restaurant’s reputation. We were particularly impressed with their cocktails, which offered innovative choices every time. I must also commend their attention to detail, including preparation for the birthday celebration and consideration for our photo-taking moments during the meal. Overall, our experience atLost&Found was impressive in almost every aspect, making for a perfect evening. Got a wedding gift to do a dining in the dark experience. It was such a unique and fun experience. Food was delicious but some portions were a bit small (thats only because the food was very tasty and we wanted more). I forgot his name but the server was very informative when he told us what the food was and we got on well with him throughout the dinner. We had blindfolds and it was intentionally dark in the restaurant where we were sat to intensify the experience. We loved it and will probably purchase another dining in the dark experience for ourselves soon. Wish more places do stuff like this. The only downside is that they only do this once a month on a Tuesday but it was nice to be able to have a small group of people in the experience with us. (Apologies for the blurry photos but I was blindfolded)

I came here with 3 friends for a bottomless brunch, very nice food and a good amount of alcohol during the bottomless brunch time period. You had a bottle of Prosecco for the table and a choice of cocktails. Very good value for money and a lovely atmosphere

Pork 8/10 calamari 8/10 fried Halloumi 5/10 crème Brulé 4/10...Mai Tai 5/10 my friend had the mix grill and it was as dry as a desert even with the sauces... All in all it was ok..not thee best.....but they also don't have doggie bags.... Bizarre so had to wrap my food in foil....... Honestly it's a step up from pub grub and you're paying for the location more than anything...

Atmosphere is usually good but we tend to go in on a Sunday and it's very quiet

Lovely venue with excellent service from Gosia and Tom. Food was generally very tasty (loved the halloumi fries) but the nasal fish and chips could do with a bit more seasoning/masala. Overall really pleasant place to go!

After reading some of the positive reviews on here, I thought, as a seasoned traveler to Bristol but never coming here before, I’d take my wife for a birthday meal. We booked the restaurant in good time ( Monday prior) and had looked at the menus to see the availability. When we arrived we were immediately underwhelmed. Being shown through an empty bar to the back room through a set of glass doors, I was anticipating perhaps a bootleg style of atmosphere. No chance, it was simply dingy. The table we had been shown to( there were 5 empty tables at the time - 8.00pm) had no light above it and the only table without a candle- luckily having read the menu I had already thought about what I wanted. Immediately upon being seated the waitress ( friendly) listed of a reel of not 1 or 2 but 7 items off the menu saying they were so busy- however the restaurant had only about 20 people in it. Having disappointingly chosen something else , I was then asked if I wanted a bottle of wine. We chose the Pinot Grigio… 10 minutes later, and having to get the attention of someone, we were told” oh no, we sold out” …. So no pinot Grigio.. in a city centre restaurant on a summers evening at 8pm? Having not wanted anything else we opted for a vodka and coke… that came when main course arrived but had been left on the bar so long it was flat.. eventually replaced… food that we did have was ok. Halloumi was well cooked, chicken breast on the bone had been trimmed down so much the breast had shrunk to a very small piece and hardly any chorizo( I had 3 slices). We did speak to the manager who informed us that they had supplier issues on Friday?! ( I can’t really understand why no contingency made; being an ex purchasing Magee for a restaurant group) and we do receive a discount; sadly, underwhelming, dark and disappointing

Perfect service from the 2 friendly, professional female members of the team. Wonderful cheerful welcome and clear explanation regarding the drinks and food menus. Excellent timing for reading the menus to taking drinks orders and then first course food. 4 of us dined here and we had 3 different starters (buttermilk chicken thighs, fried squid, halloumi) and 4 different main meals (Maple glazed pork, Massalla fish and chips, sirloin steak and lamb mixed grill) all of which were delicious and cooked to perfection. Service was attentive without being too often or intrusive, it was at the perfect times. Friendly staff who were only too happy to help even offering to make me a non alcoholic cocktail as I was the designated driver for the evening. I decided on a 0% Stella lager which was very good. Wonderful food, good atmosphere, great cocktails for the rest of my family and the best service from the staff. Also a big shout out to the 2 chefs on last night. Guys the food was amazing , not just the gorgeous tastes anf flavours but also the presentation. Thank you everyone. See you soon.

Such delicious food, the triple cooked chips were unreal. I’d really recommend the pizza, and the chicken thighs starter. Our waitress was also really nice and attentive - also was a big fan of the cocktails!

After 2 hours of bottomless brunch and several cocktails the waitress came around and gave us a business card with a QR code offering a glass of prosecco for a 5 star review. Looking back on this with a clear head this is a predatory business practice and is in my opinion taking advantage of drunk people who would not really think properly about the fact that this is artificially inflating the venue's rating for the sake of another drink. The venue was nice, the drinks and atmosphere were good, however the portion sizes for the food were very small for what we paid and several people in the group left hungry.

Food was good and so was the service, very different having a restaurant that is also a cocktail bar, but the issue with this is, things get loud so makes it off-putting for families and couples, my personal opinion of course. Probably a better place for hen/stag parties or groups of friends/couples.

Had a lovely experience at the lost and found. Was served by Tom, service was amazing, staff were accommodating and very polite. Starter were great! Food was lovely, however food portions were a little on the small side. But food taste wise was delicious. Thank you very much, will be back for bottomless brunch!

This was a 20th birthday celebration which we wanted to be more special than just a typical restaurant. We’d used L&F before for a university graduation meal and thought it suitable, and signalled in advance why we were coming. Ellie our server made us feel very welcome and gave the birthday girl a cocktail and sweet with a candle. We were impressed at the choice and quality of the food, and I add a particular mention for Masala Fish and Chips. Not as cheap as other restaurants might have been, but the difference in price was more than justified by superior service, food and drink, particularly cocktails. Thank you, we enjoyed it.

Waitress rolling eyes at drinks orders and wasnt happy at having to make a large cocktail order even though place was empty. Pre paid a service charge which wasn't clear when doing the pre order, then got charged another service charge and they didn't want to take it off, waiter was dismissive and tried to say it is expected. Would always tip but service wasn't great and attitude worse. Food OK but expensive for pub grub. Ordered cocktails as it was 2 for 1 and they tried to not put the offer on to our bill. Asked before booking if they can accomodate someone with a severe allergy who carries an epi pen- reassured they could but then couldnt procide allergen information! Told us to look at the website which didnt tell us anymore than the menu which didnt tell us anything so not helpful. Waitress seemed annoyed that we had asked and was very dismissive and did a lot of eye rolling. Was an OK place but wouldn't reccomend and wouldn't return mainly due to service

Food was overcooked and dry, and almost no creme fraiće for the salmon, just the tiny amount you can see in the pic. unfortunately it was also really loud and we had a party being set up in our area whilst we were still within our party alloted time, so we felt awkward and in the way despite having paid for our experience. Our card was also charged twice with extra added the second time, which was eventually resolved but now need to wait for it to be refunded to the account, over £100

First time here. Couldn't recommend enough. Beautiful food! Our waiter Anthony was really helpful, attentive and professional throughout. The bar has a really cool jazz vibe. The decor is stunning.
