When being seated, offered a seat right by the swing door when there were lots of other tables available. Not asked if we would like a second drink or if our meal was ok so only had one drink each. Had to ask for the pudding menu 45 minutes after finishing the main course and was brought the bill. Neither pudding was available out of a choice of five. Not offered coffee. Asked for the bill with a voucher towards, two waiters did not know how to process this so requested the Manager. He came over and said quite abruptly 30% discount, the voucher was for a monetary amount so this was explained again. Went to the till to pay and the QR code would not work so was manually input repeatedly. The food was lovely but the service was shocking. There were several large groups but the restaurant was not full.

Lovely service from both the waitresses despite them seemingly having a difficult group in at the time. Food was all incredible. We had a camembert, steak and a chicken dish for main, creme brûlée and sticky toffee pudding for dessert. Compliments to the chef. Thanks for a nice evening!

Wonderful atmosphere with brilliant service by Gosia and amazing manager Fiach !! Highly recommend their lunch sandwiches and avocado salad!!BLT sandwiches are always my first option.Their chief did a really good job on seasoning. Meanwhile lunch time is always quiet in here, lovely place to have a small rest!!! Impressed by manager Fiach ,he is very friendly and helpful. Serving hot water for cold days and that’s really mindful for Chinese students like me. He said he had lots trips to china which capable him to speak good Chinese. So you could even try order in Chinese 🤣 He is always considering what’s customer needs and offer help in time and has a great sense of humor. Overall, very cozy and chill place to go with responsible taste in food and wonderful service

Disastrous Service & Rude Staff – Avoid at All Costs! I rarely leave negative reviews, but our experience at Lost and Found Bristol was so appalling that I feel compelled to warn others. We booked a table well in advance for a hen party, making it clear we were a group celebrating a special occasion. The restaurant was happy to take our booking and our pre-paid orders, yet from the moment we arrived, we were treated with hostility and disrespect. Within 10 minutes of sitting down, we were told to be quiet—despite the fact that we were a group of mature, professional women (including the bride’s 60-year-old mother) simply enjoying a civilised evening. This immediately set a negative tone, making us feel unwelcome. From there, the service only got worse. We were left waiting nearly two hours for our food, which, when it finally arrived, was extremely disappointing—some dishes were barely edible. When we politely raised concerns about the delay, the manager (who lacked both professionalism and basic customer service skills) accused us of being aggressive. Every person who witnessed the exchange can vouch that we were respectful in our complaint, yet she refused to acknowledge any fault. Adding to the chaos, a server spilled scorching hot sauce on one of our guests, and rather than offering a sincere apology, the staff acted as if it was no big deal. Plates were handed directly into our hands—many far too hot to hold—and staff consistently leaned across the table with no regard for basic service etiquette. To top it off, we ordered a bottle of prosecco via the app, only to receive a tiny bottle instead—another example of their incompetence. But what really left a lasting impact was how the staff ruined a once-in-a-lifetime event. When the maid of honour stood to deliver a heartfelt speech for our bride-to-be, she was told off for being too loud and disruptive. Instead of embracing the celebratory atmosphere, the staff acted like fun police, dampening the mood and upsetting the bride’s mother to the point of tears. We gave them every opportunity to rectify the situation, but instead of taking responsibility, they denied everything and blamed us. A simple apology and some accountability could have made all the difference, but instead, they doubled down on their rudeness. If you’re looking for a venue that values its customers, knows how to deliver good service, and understands hospitality—go elsewhere. The Lost and Found in Bristol is an absolute shambles, and I would strongly advise against booking any kind of special occasion here unless you want it ruined. UPDATE: You'll see in their response below that apparently one of our party has written an apology - which I'd like to clarify is a MASSIVE LIE. I have also added a photo of our party. As you can see, a civilised yet fun group of mature women. No willy straws or inflatable body parts on this hen. 🤔

We booked this via first table (50% off food only) so we probably ordered more than normally would. The food was nice. Steaks cooked as we asked and maple pork was very nice. We would recommend getting a side dish, we had broccoli which was really nice with pumpkin seeds on top, one had side salad which was nice and fresh and another had cauliflower cheese which they said was nice. Pudding we had sticky toffee pudding which was nice with honeycomb on top and one of us had chocolate torte and said it was really nice. Staff were lovely and friendly which always makes a difference to your experience. Being dog friendly was an added bonus so that was good. Service was relaxed. We would return and be happy to go back and pay normal prices. I think we would not of gone if not for booking through first table but now we would happily visit again so the first table is good because now we would return.

We were asked to pre-order our food and pay in advance due to group size. We arrived on time for our booking but it was 55 mins before our pre-ordered starters arrived. Those who ordered with a QR code on arrival last min were served way sooner. The system is a total shambles. Pre-paid, pre-ordered dishes should be prioritised over walk-ins. Hungry and angry. When the food finally arrived, service was pretty awful, serving across tables with hot plates and a hot dish was actually spilt all over one person's shoulder. The food itself was unbelievably overpriced for what it was. Either dry or soggy or flavourless. Will never return.

Amazing Service from Ritz! We had an incredible experience at The Lost and Found in Bristol, and a huge part of that was thanks to our amazing waiter, Ritz. From the moment we arrived, she was warm, welcoming, and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed throughout the evening. Her knowledge of the menu was impressive, and she gave us fantastic recommendations that we absolutely loved. Ritz went above and beyond to ensure we had a great time, always checking in at just the right moments without being intrusive. Her friendly and professional attitude truly made our visit special. Absolutely awful experience earlier this week. My triple cooked chips were burnt. Dark brown, greasy and virtually inedible. My fishcakes were definitely lacking on the fish front. Under the hollandaise sauce were in fact several rock hard and very dry lamb meatballs. No fish at all I sent both back and we had a refund and to be fair a free drink each. The waitress was very polite and apologetic but the food was beyond redemption. How it actually left the kitchen I will never know The only positive was our very sympathetic waitress, who deserves a medal for being expected to serve food like that. I won't be going back.

A total incomprehension of the praise for this establishment. The welcome from the waitresses is cold and contemptuous, the wait endless, and the “Roasted Cauliflower Steak” a real scam: half a barely roasted cauliflower, thrown on the plate with tasteless beans and a few lost capers. 16 pounds for that. A really terrible experience, which was a shame due to it being Valentine's Day. The staff were wearing quite unsightly, trainers and tatty lower half garments some with mud on their soles ans a multitude of styles. If advising clientele to dress smart you should at a minimum expect this of your staff. Our wine glasses Had lipstick on as well as a hair in another. The main courses were bland with the steak coming out luke warm, the chipscbarely any heat and me having to return a meal which is incredibly rare for myself to send anything back. We had to ask several times where our drinks were. The service at times seemed rude and quite abrupt. Despite refusing politely to eat my main what appeared to be, the floor manager still tried to charge me for my meal less twenty percent, bizarre. I was offered a free drink but by this time I wanted out. A really unpleasant experience and needless to say I certainly won't be returning and will be sharing my experiences with friends and family.

Good concept but poor execution, let down by the playlist they had on, we found it very distracting and poor taste. It took away from the magic of the experience when there is full opportunity to play something fitting such as mysterious music, instead of heart radio! Glasses and cutlery weren’t polished and could’ve done with some bigger portion sizes. The blindfolds smelt like sweat and seemed like they hadn’t been washed. We had a good time, but from people who both work in service we were slightly upset that it wasn’t as special as easily could have been.

Lost and Found offers such a fantastic dining experience with amazing food, great service, and a beautiful atmosphere. The menu is full of flavorful dishes, each one expertly crafted. I would highly recommend the Pork Chop, one of the best dishes that I’ve found in Bristol. The staff is friendly and attentive, making sure you feel well taken care of. The stylish, inviting setting adds to the overall charm. Highly recommend for a memorable and pleasant meal!

Walked in, mostly empty. Served informed us about 5 menu items were unavailable. Ordered a soft drink, server comes back says it's not available either. Ordered. Food comes, no steak knives or ask about sauces. I asked for s&p and ketchup and where my side was. Clearly the kitchen forgot. Had to ask again 10min later for sauces and S&P. Steak was overcooked and inedible so I sent back and asked it to be removed. Appalling experience on what was supposed to be a nice birthday meal.

Booked afternoon tea for 2 and prepaid, including service charge. Greeted on arrival politely but given no guidance as to where to find drinks etc. Food arrived and presented as “one normal, one vegetarian” by the waitress. This was confusing because we had ordered a vegan AT and not vegetarian. In every other AT I’ve had, the server has explained what the food is but this was not done. I had to check online to see that it was indeed vegan and not vegetarian to avoid accidentally eating dairy. It was clear from sight that the bread was stale as the sandwiches were curling. The brioche bun was also hard and the avocado had turned brown. We pointed this out to the server who arranged for the savoury items to be remade whilst we ate the sweet parts. Significant time passed while the chef was supposedly preparing this food by which point we’d finished our tea having not been offered any more drinks and finished our sweet food a while ago. My partner spoke to the waitress to ask for a partial refund but was told the food was on its way. We decided to leave having waited too long by this point. The server was apologetic and offered to send the food with us but we declined. This was something we had looked forward to as visitors to Bristol and the experience was entirely unenjoyable. My partner also had an upset stomach later on which could be attributed to the obviously poor standard of produce offered. Would certainly not recommend - terrible food, no atmosphere (we were the only diners) and substandard service despite a service charge already being taken.

We were met by a very abrupt waitress who made us sit on a table for two, which had other occupied tables located very close to either side of us. There were several other empty tables where we could have sat without invading the existing customers privacy. We did not feel any of the staff were particularly friendly, the food was very over priced, and we took a very dim view of the waitress opening the front door and allowing the cold air into the restaurant on what was a very cold wet day outside. This made most customers feel very uncomfortable. We felt it was like they were saying, “we have had your money, so the quicker you leave now the better”. One customer got up and closed the door, and the waitress immediately went up to the front of the shop and opened the window. For how rudely we were treated, it’s a wonder they had any customers at all. We will not be going back !

Great beer, great vibes....... But £14.50 for a TINY plate of Nachos is criminal. I've had better value in London. And that's saying something! Again, lovely beer selection and excellent vibes. But yeh, not sure about portion size.

Favourite pub in Bristol, Jake and Mollie (I think? Sorry!!) were so lovely and welcoming and can’t wait to come back! :)

Great coffee in a great location. Spiral staircase to an “interesting” basement and toilet which was very clean. Friendly and helpful staff.
