This place is so much better than ‘eat a pitta’ but their portion sizes are whack. £8 for salad and 3 falafel!?! Come on guys, I expect £8 to get me more than that.

Had a really good coffee and baklava from Edna's on Saturday morning. It was lovely sitting out in the park. Don't go to Cafe Nero over the road, support Edna's instead.

We coincidently came by as tourist and had Sabich sandwich, one in a wrap, the other as wrap. Very tasty and healthy full of vitamins 😊. Staff were also very kond to change the recipe a bit to our taste. Really recommended!

Yeah Edna's is a great wee place. 5/5 for atmosphere cos its right in Castle Park, so lovely surroundings. Good place for a quick healthy lunch. Usual suspects of falafel, cous cous, hummus, pita breads etc. All very fresh and tasty.

Falafels were full of flavour. Salad box was a gods mix of vegetables. Portion size was good and filled me up for a long time. Chilli sauce was not hot enough. Overall, a friendly, tasty lunch. Falafels were full of flavour, salad was fresh.

Stumbled on Edna's last Saturday about lunchtime and gave it a go. Freshly made food of a very high standard. The pittas were absolutely amazing and way better than anything that you normally come across. My first encounter with Sabich and I loved it. Great value for money too. There's only outside seating but we were well wrapped up and the coffee was hot enough to stay warm for ages.

In an area of Castle Park that people used to be free to walk around…..this thing now exists, with picnic benches! Apparently, these aren’t the same as the other benches you are free to sit on around Castle Park. To sit on these special things….you need to be a customer? This is technically a park, paid for by taxpayers money. This begs the question…….who is subletting and earning money from this wooden box and space for exclusive tables? Is it Bristol City Council?

I didn't order any food (though it looked and smelled yummy) but ordered an oat milk latte. Proper nice coffee and very quick service. Will definitely visit next time I'm in the area.

Edna catered for our wedding in May 2023 with 60 day time and 120 evening guests. Edna and her helpful staff were instrumental in making our day special. Edna provided a range of options, and we worked together to develop dinner and evening buffet menus with a focus on vegetarian and gluten free options. Good quality fresh falafel in lovely middle eastern soft pita bread with tasty fillings. Very accommodating and friendly staff. Option to sit outside and eat overlooking Castle Park. This is certainly a step up from large franchises like Eat a Pitta where I've experienced old dried out falafels and low quality pitta - more akin to the UK supermarkets than truly Middle Eastern.

Asked for a halloumi wrap 🌯 and I got the falafel one. Was ok but too much cucumber.

This is my go-to lunch place. I always get the salad box with freshly made falafels. Make sure to ask for extra chilli relish if you like it spicy! :)

Incontournable si vous souhaitez déguster des excellents falafels. Ils sont cuits à la demande ( et pas rechauffes). Tout est frais , goûteux. Quelques tables ( exterieur) permettent de savourer sous les arbres face au " chateau" et à 2 mn à pied des rues commerçantes. A chaque fois que je viens à Bristol je viens chercher mes falafels préférés. Prix très abordables et personnel très sympathique. Venez essayer!

I was in Bristol as part of a big birthday celebration one sat afternoon recently.. And when we walked around this vibrant and busy city, we came across this small venue , that is sited on the park area of castle park.. By the bombed out church.. And there were many people queuing for different beverages and food.. Our party numbered around 15people and all drinks,.( usual coffees, chocolate , teas and bottled beverages), we're available.. I was served with a polite hello and a smile.. And everyone enjoyed the vibe around this small building.. Certainly worth stopping by if your near it and relax..

Great for a coffee and cake break on your weekend walk or lunch.

Disappointing for £8. Mostly lettuce, cold wrap, lack of tasty sauces as advertised. Wouldn't recommend unfortunately.

We were visiting Bristol and discovered this treasure. The food is wonderful.

Edna recently catered for our wedding and we were absolutely delighted with the most delicious food we could have hoped for. We chose a variety of salads, dips, pastries and the most amazing falafel we have ever eaten. Edna visited the venue beforehand and was an absolute joy - we are so grateful to her and the team. Their organisation on the day was so professional but they took into consideration the style of our wedding and provided the perfect buffet and relaxed sharing-style food. It tasted amazing but it also looked almost too good to eat! We are still obsessing over which was our favourite dish and cannot wait until we are in Bristol next and we can enjoy some more falafel! Thank you so much Edna and your wonderful team.

Without a doubt the best falafel in Bristol and possibly in the whole of England. It tastes delicious and the salads are just divine. Everyone is so nice and polite, the kiosk is very clean and the espresso there is pretty good too. I would definitely recommend Edna’s kitchen at Castle hill. The view is great with plenty of sitting space too. Top Falafel and excellent service!

The guy with the curly hair is obnoxious and rude. I was waiting for 30 minutes after ordering and when I asked he just said it’s not ready, 20 minutes after he said what do you want. I said ‘it was a falafel wrap’ and then he decided to make it

Horrible service. The staff who was in the booth completely ignored me when i was waiting to order coffee and o was standing like an idiot for 5 minites It was not busy at the time and he didnt even say hello or acknowledge the fact that a customer was waiting. He obviously couldnt be bothered . I saw others leave too for the same reason. A bit of politeness doesnt cost a thing. Will not be returning there anytime soon

Rude obnoxious staff, they have their head up their a....... was waiting 5 minutes at window to make an order, some guy inside with long curly black hair making falafel saw me but turned away and completely ignored me continuing making falafels. 3 minutes later another guy came carrying a box with food, ignored me again. If you are busy, at least acknowledge the customer by saying "sorry for the wait but I'll be with you shortly ". I got up and left. Never going back.

The chef is moody and when asked for condiments I was abruptly told the food doesn’t need salt and pepper. The salad wasn’t dressed and frankly the overall taste was wanting. They never even offered lemon juice. For £9 you’d expect more

For £2.70 for a black coffee I was expecting it to taste nice. I was disappointed. Also disappointing was the disposable cup with plastic lid it was served in. When I asked about recycling I was told to put in the waste bin for landfill. Rubbish!

We , a party of eight people visited this place . We all had Falafel wraps, Halumi wraps and Falafel . These were probably the best Falafel we have tasted , ever. And we have all traveled all over the world. Very fresh and tasty . Extra pickles were great too. If you visit Bristol , you have to visit this place . Very friendly staff and excellent food. Can’t wait to come back again. A little gem of a place.

I tried this place for the first time last week, and wow! What a salad box. Totally loved every mouthfull. Went for some of the homemade chili sauce, which I was warned packed a punch. And oh my, it certainly did. Too much for me, but I was warned, so no way it's affecting my rating eveen though it was waaay to hot for Me, it was all soo tasty ... 5 stars! Can't wait to go back

Just needed a place to sit and watch the world go by and have a coffee. Had falafels and salad and a coffee. All of which were really delicious. Salad was tasty and varied the coffee was really delicious strong and rich but no bitterness. The host was really friendly and genuinely cares about what he serves.

We had the halloumi wrap and the sabich pitta and they were both superb. Really fresh, tasty and healthy too ! Will definitely go back when next in Bristol. May even make a special trip just for this food 👍

Unassuming small shop at the garden, yet it's so tasty! The falafel has taste on the inside, not just the outside. The aubergine in the sabich is well grilled, tasty on its own. The homemade spicy sauce is a real deal. It's so fresh and spicy -- even in my Southeast Asian standard

If you like Middle Eastern food, then Edna's Kitchen will be a good option.👌 Very delicious and healthy. The "duqqa" on the top of the hummus was a clever touch as well as the tahini sauce on the top of the salad mix.

I chanced upon Edna’s only today and I would call it an amazing turn of fate. The lady(whom I assume is in fact Edna) was kind to ask me if I had any food allergies and if it was my first time at Edna’s. She said I would love it and I definitely did. I had a spicy falafel wrap and I can’t recommend it enough. I liked it so much that I’m going there again tomorrow. :)

Really great cakes and drinks (we didn't get a meal, but I love the planet-friendly feel of the food offered!) Amazing part of Bristol with good views. The staff seemed slightly stressed and not super friendly, but the food was great all the while!

Thier Falafel is rightly lauded and highly recommended. The added pickled lemon is a nice addition. Missed out on that elusive fifth star due to a limited variety of vegan cakes on my visit.
