What a country we live in! The powers that be can force a thriving harmless business like this to close due to red tape!! A lovely place for pizza & much more especially al fresco on a nice day! Keep fighting & we hope to see you all return soon!
Excellent choices of flavors, good value for money and exceptional service. After taking the dog to the vet for a check up a few doors down we decided to have a treat. The member of staff was very accommodating and made such a lovely fuss over the dog. Helped us choose some good choices, let us sample one and even had ones for the pup too. The puppy equivalent of sweets after the dentist. A lovely local treat.
We went to Igloo early on a Saturday evening before going to a concert, and received a warm welcome. The menu includes Korean food and burgers and we chose burgers. When they came, they were excellent and exactly what a burger should look and taste like. No processed grey patties, but thick chunky beef and the usual lettuce, tomato and American mustard, served with a generous portion of chips. I also had a berry smoothie which was delicious. The service was very good, too.

Our visit to this restaurant was truly a magical experience. We were struggling to find food around 9:30 pm as most places had already closed. Thankfully, we came across Outlaws and met Alex, who welcomed us with such warmth and kindness. He immediately understood our situation and made us feel at home. The food was absolutely amazing, full of flavour and beautifully presented. The ambience was calm and inviting, and the entire staff showed genuine care—it really touched our hearts. Thank you, Alex, for going above and beyond. You're truly an asset to the place!
What a fantastic place in beautiful Abbotsbury.
We had visited the Tropical gardens near by and wanted to wander around the village.
We found the Old School tea rooms which were just perfect.
The welcome and service was exceptional from start to finish by a lovely husband and wife team.
My wife and I had the savoury and sweet cream teas.
They were both delicious in equal measure with plenty of cream and jam and cheese and pickle .
The tea was strong and plentiful and I even through in a wonderfully spiced tea cake for good measure.
Well with a visit when visiting the Jurassic Coast.

We went for dinner and ordered honey and thyme camembert, beef, pork cheek, chicken leg and aubergine with Madeline's and macaroons for dessert. Our favourite must-have dishes were the camembert and Madeline's. Each dish was delicious although the macaroons were nothing special. The service was very attentive and informative about the dishes with good champagne pairings. Highly recommend this restaurant, it is not cheap but we thought it was worth the price.
Stumbled across this excellent deli on a wet January day in Dartmouth and had the best cream tea in a long time. Warm and fresh scones, delicious jam & clotted cream and nicely brewed fresh tea. The interior is very stylish & has a nice friendly and relaxed atmosphere with nice mellow music in the background. Great stuff.
I must say.
I've been all around the uk having fish and chips.
This place is lush.
Its in my top 3.
My only criticism would be.
Use different curry sauce.
You would be number 2.
But apart from that when we are off to Devon from now on.
We will be popping in.
