Tuna was incredible was not expecting that at all. Found it very hard to choose a favourite out of the 4 dishes. Will definitely be back!!

Great meal, great service, lovely atmosphere. Lauren was amazing, watching her prepare all the meals single-handedly - so quickly and efficiently. And the food was delicious. And Holly, our server was delightful, taking a few minutes to chat about this fairly new restaurant, opened only a year. Give it your support - it deserves it! 😊❤️

Really loved this place. The food was amazing (and great for a celiac like me), the staff were funny and friendly, and it had a really good vibe. Didn’t get any pictures because the food was too good to pause and tack snaps. Highly recommend

Best Mexican food I have ever eaten hands down

Holly has served us a couple of times now, she’s very relaxed but attentive. Always smiling, she’s definitely a brilliant person, for front of house. My partner and I will keep coming back here

Came for churros, ordered two portions , one portion had a hair in it which they apologised for. The second portion was undercooked and soggy inside, took it back only to be told that it was meant to be like that. I’ve had enough churros in my time to know this isn’t true. We obviously weren’t charged for it so only paid for a tea which we also ordered. If they had good customer service they would have given the cup of tea on the house to apologise. The waitress was lovely it was the cook behind the counter who wasn’t helpful.

We popped in spontaneously for lunch and were so glad we did. This place is awesome, the decor and atmosphere is spot on, and the food was delicious. We only tasted the brisket and pork tacos but were very impressed, and we will 100% be back for more and to taste the whole menu!

Fantastic, cosy and atmospheric little restaurant serving a refined selection of very nicely done authentic mexican dishes. The little taqueira tacos were all stunning, and the 12 hour, in house smoked brisket was superb, along with the charcoal grilled hispi cabbage and cod cheek tacos. Revisit April 2025 Lunch time on a Saturday lunchtime with restaurant half empty.. Long wait for service, cokes arriving after 15 mins.. and after ordering, long wait for food, and 2 other tables asking when food would arrive after 20 Min wait. Chef was clearly overstretched on his own. Food was good but a single elote arrived after a 25 Min wait, and a single plate of 3 small taqueira took another 15 mins after...Brisket was still good thou and food overall.. But took a very long time this time. Though waitress did apologise between each. Was definitely not as good as the first visit.

Very rude management. Table booked but when arrived told no table available as walk ins take priority! What’s the point of booking if it doesn’t mean anything! Very rude and no compromise offered. Would definitely not recommend!

AVOID !! Ordered on UberEats. The bags came completely soaked with drinks leaked everywhere. Quesadillas stone cold with coke soaked all over it. Inedible and disgusting. No phone number to complain to. WILL NEVER BE BACK.

Outstanding. The Longhorn Beef Birria Tacos are mindblowingly good, so many layers of flavour. Bravo guys!! Will be back for sure.

We booked a table two days before we arrived, and got told walk-ins are being prioritised due to the booking system going down. The manger was useless and lied to us about our table not being available, despite seeing it on his iPad. We are very disappointed and will not be coming back.

The beef tacos and cod cheek tacos were definitely the highlight! The salsa and tortilla chips was amazing but quite small for £6. Unfortunately, a few of the dishes were quite greasy. The service, however, was slow and not very impressive.

Nice food but found a mini pool of grease at the bottom of each plate making the tacos wet and they started to fall apart. The flavour of the filling was lovely and filling.

There aren't many places you can go in Gloucester where you feel like you've been transported out of Gloucester. Add to that, the food here is fresh, cooked with skill and precision and you might have just found my new favourite place to eat in this city!

Disappointing experience. We went in when it wasn't busy but had a very long wait. The service was extremely slow. We weren't greeted, the high chair they gave us was dirty, they took ages to take our drinks order and bring them out, then take our order, the food took about 45 minutes to arrive, they didn't bring us cutlery, we had to go and ask for the bill because there was no service. Portion size was very small as well which I wasn't expecting for the price. This review isn't all negative because the flavours were really good. The tacos themselves were excellent. It's just a shame the service was the worst we've had in a long long time. I was furious afterwards because I didn't notice at the time, they added a 10% service charge despite the awful service. But I wasn't shown the bill, just had a card machine shoved in my face.

Went at lunch time it wasn’t busy. Took a long time for the food to come out ordered some tacos and potato’s. There’s not a lot of flavour in the food, potato’s needed salt. The place is nice to be and looks good and the tacos were okay. Just not anything special for the wait.

Food is incredible me and my partner walked past and could smell the hot coals and it took us back to Mexico! We had the pork tacos which were lush the brisket tacos which were even better again! With a side of papayas mojo verde which accompanied our meal perfectly! Service was brilliant in a great location don’t miss out on this great restaurant

Arrived & took a while to be greeted, despite 50% full restaurant. Loud machines going in behind the counter. Front of house & kitchen staff clearly weren’t getting along. Took ages for someone to take our order. Drinks took 20 mins. Margarita was watered down, and I sent it back. Food took ages - after having been there for an hour we left. We went to the ramen restaurant nearby which was great. Also the male cook was intermittently wearing gloves, then taking them off to go on his phone, then finishing dishes & touching food with gloves off. It was really off putting. Really disappointed as we had wanted to go for ages!

Great service and a lovely atmosphere by the docks. Well done interior as well. I am from California and would honestly say these tacos are delicious and authentic... it's just missing that spice I crave in my salsa. But, that's the British palette for ya! I would just suggest having Tapatio or Cholula hot sauce on hand for the spicy lovers!

The beef tacos were a doner kebab by another name… the pork was a bit better, but nothing special. The cocktails were disappointing. Not really Mexican food. I wouldn’t go again.

Absolutely loved our meal. Probably ordered too much food as we were so full but with all the lush flavours but we couldn’t leave any!! The recommendation is 3-4 small plates each, I would argue 3 is right to leave enough room for pud too but I am pleased we tried so many different meals! Highly recommend going. Worth booking first as it is a fairly small restaurant that fills quickly due to its size

Ordered refried beans (£8.50) for takeaway. I opted to eat elsewhere as the indoor area was smoky. While the beans were fine, they were served without any utensils or accompaniments - no cutlery (not even bamboo), no napkins, and no bread to help manage what is essentially a liquid dish. (I asked for cutlery and was repeatedly told no) The beans were very oily and difficult to eat as served. Found it ironic that a traditionally accessible Mexican dish was made both expensive and impractical. Would recommend confirming exactly what's included before ordering, particularly for takeaway items that require utensils. For £8.50, expected more thoughtful execution of this simple dish. Really poor overall unfortunately.

The Birra brisket tacos were the best tacos I have ever had In my life, the flavour was sensational and like no other.It tasted like a true Mexican taco.I had Amelia cook for me and her enthusiasm and work ethnic was very good,she is good with customer service and knows how to make a good taco.I would recommend to anyone wanting tacos.

Wow, so good! An actual taqueria with food cooked fresh over charcoal in their open kitchen, and using proper corn meal for their tacos and tortillas. We enjoyed everything we ordered.

We love this restaurant , the food is lovely and fresh and the service is done with a smile and a friendly, customer focused approach.
