Marco's Kebab Van in Gloucester

After living in Gloucester 2 years and trying various kebab places I stopped having them as they were so bad. But tonight I really fancied one so asked social media for recommendations. Marcos was most recommended so gave it a try.... So glad I did absolutely unreal food all made fresh and peices of proper chicken and all reasonably priced. Will definitely be back.

I didn’t believe I could get a good kebab in Gloucester but I just finished an amazing one! Funny, lovely staff, huge portions, unbelievable taste, fresh salad and a free can of Diet Coke!

Not bad done me a 5 pound kebab (min 6) and more than enough to feed me happily

I ordered mix meat with veg and onions rings, food was delicious, perfect taste,wonderful serving, great price, love it

£10 for a donner kebab burger with chips and a can of Pepsi, not worth it. The kebab was nothing better than what you’d get in a local chippy.

Dropped in by chance on our way through Gloucester at 1am, and what a fanatic strike of luck it was! I had a Chicken Shish wrap (see photos) and both I and my friend (who has the same) agreed it was the best kebab we'd had in a very long time. And we've have a lot!! Tender chicken in a delicious marinade cooked to perfection, sliced up and and laid out on a wonderfully chewy wrap (kinda like a large paratha), together with salad n sauce. The guy serving is was polite and friendly, and was hair too chat with us while he cooked, despite the late hour. All in all, a fantastic experience. If I'm ever in Gloucester again you can be sure I'll be back for another fantastic kebab!

Hands down the best kebab van in Gloucester and prob the country! I order every week, sometimes twice a week. The staff are friendly and always a great service. I always order the large mixed wrap (chicken and donner) The chicken is ALWAYS freshly cooked on the grill and the donner meat is always fresh. I know this because they use a whole donner once a day and 2 per day on the weekends. Therefore, the meat is never from the previous day(s) Would highly recommend.

Had a large portion of chips 16/03/22 £3 and had to throw them away as they were hard and inedible ( recooked I would say but don’t know how many times ) gave 2 star rating as I feel let down as I’ve had food from here before and it was good.

Staff are always friendly and chatty and i LOVE the Chicken Wraps Marco's do! Would highly recommend!

Has to be said that this was hands down the best doner I had in the UK. Meat and salad was quality absolutely loved it!

Honestly, these guys produce the best kebabs in Gloucester. It’s not greasy and the choice of salad is brilliant; they have homemade coleslaw and beautiful red cabbage. They also throw in a free drink with orders over £10!

That guy from walls doesn’t know what he’s chatting about 5 star everyday ,been loads of times you watch them prepare it, always well cooked or however you like it, but it’s done, great guys great food, don’t let anyone else tell you otherwise, check it out yourself and make your own mind up. Guy must have had something stuck in his teeth from earlier, usual trucker type

I am not from the local area but stopped off here at 1am one morning while driving through the city. I only ate chips as not a meat eater but I have to say the chips were fantastic. The oil was fresh, not fatty at all. The food truck itself was unbelievably clean. It was spotless. 5 star food hygiene from the local council. I would stop here next time I come by. Thanks

Another great meal - Marco's special kebab is a great feast!

Got my order wrong, rang back they were busy. Said I could go back and collect missed food order but too late as every one else was eating their meal. So we shared ours, then they offered delivery after they stopped being busy. Too late! So they said I can collect a free family when I next visit. I haven't been back since and they probably wouldn't remember now as I haven't fancied a kebab since. However, the kebabs are bloody lush!!!

Kabab great.. Chips no so was dry and though they have been cooked then reheated apart from that the staff on the van was great just let down on the chips from my meal if it wasn't for the chips I would of gave 5 stars
