Mashallah lovely place. Visited 1st time today. And highly rate it. Served by sister Ovaisha. I cannot stress how helpful they all are, the place is clean, tidy and welcoming. Reasonable prices too. They offer a takeaway too. Would reccomend 100%

Me and my dad came here for the first time and thoroughly enjoyed our breakfast. It was reasonably priced and the masala breakfast is super yummy. Wonderful service from a young lady, very polite and helpful. Thank you. We will be back very soon.

Daughter visits friendship cafe with support workers and has said how lovely it is. I finally visited with her and she isn't wrong. Food was delicious, service was great and the atmosphere is relaxed and friendly. Looking forward to our next lunch outing.

Local community centre; supporting, serving and enriching the lives of the people living in Barton & Tredworth. FC Cafe is an ideal place to meet for a hot / cold drink, bite to eat etc. Good wholesome variety of drink & food at 'freindly' prices. Staff are very helpful and good relaxed surroundings. Also, slightly out of town centre so easy to teach by walking, car or bus.

Plenty of choices for breakfast/brunch. Not many choices for gluten free food, but the have nice gluten free cake. This is the chicken salad dish in the photo.

Nice big hall,price abit high an hour to rent it,not nice when the owners walking around watching,moving bouncy castle every hour while kids onit and in hall 5 minutes before our end time of party, when we were celebrating my mums birthday

A lovely place to walk in. Loved the food and the staff as well was excellent specifically Mrs. Shama, Mrs Shakera, and Mrs, Vajeda provided a wonderful service. Definitely recommend this to everyone looking for a homely touch....

This halal nook is a gem of a place, try their desi breakfast coz the masala eggs is just bursting with flavour. It's a community-centric place too with lots of activities being conducted in and around the building.

Lovely cafe with a really nice meeting room next to a spacious kitchen. The smell of the cooked breakfasts was delicious! We had fresh hot samosas for our meeting. Everyone was really friendly. I hope to come back soon 😊

Went there post vaccination as the jab was in the hall behind. Everything was great. The place was clean and welcoming. The staff super. Only went for a coffee but ended up having an omelette...freshly made with a nice crispy fresh salad. Prices very reasonable. Definitely going there again.

The Chicken Sausages tasted fresh like they were made on site! The hash browns were cooked to crispy perfection and the eggs were just right. I would highly recommend the big breakfast.

Attended family funeral and after the funeral the family gathering was held here. The place has ample of parking, excellent facilities to cater for many events and the local community are supportive.

It’s a gem! Chequers Friendship Cafe is a hidden gem. We were invited for breakfast/brunch and when we walked into a airy and well lit cafe it was above and beyond a greasy cafe. The staff are very friendly and go above and beyond...they made us feel so welcomed. My wife and I both had the Full English Breakfast which was perfectly cooked and the portions was so generous that I couldn’t finish. Will definitely go back in the near future and would highly recommend it for get meetings or just chilling.

Solid place to catch an all day breakfast. Customer service was great, the food was really tasty & waiting time didn’t take too long. Portions were really generous. The shop is clean and has a nice atmosphere. Shout out to Tina who has put the Chai latte on the menu (Hopefully) for the non coffee drinkers. I will be back for a more bespoke breakfast experience.

The coffee shop arm of the organisation has reopened! Lovely decor, great coffee and affordable prices. Current opening times are 9am-2pm with a view to extend hours in the near future. Looks promising.

In any week, we will be running activities, including archery, swimming, walking groups, sewing club, carers groups, self-defence class, youth clubs, trips off-site and arranging community events such as BBQs, fun days, and inter-faith activities. As well as the community centre, we also run "St James City Farm and Riding School".

All ways a friendly face to talk with. Helps to take a break from usual day to day life.

Dilapidated. Is not a cafe you would attend, however there are clubs like boxing and archery to attend if you wish.
