Wonderful place to eat. We had booked for 7.00 and were shattered so asked if they could accommodate us (5) earlier. They duly fit us in and our lovely waitress Annette gave wonderful service. Honestly so glad we got to eat here. Everything was delicious.

The lovely lady that served us at first was amazing she was so professional also the barmen who bringed the champagne - sadly the young waitress while taking the plate she threw knife dirty one one my white dress which is expensive and sophisticating specially for night out ready and barely said sorry which shows no care about customers attire and that’s really bad … please train your young staff members to properly serve customers in good manner because that ruins all the experience… other than that food is 10/10 but service of that lady tonight was horrific to say the least. Improvement needed, 3 years ago 5/5 today 3 years after 2* for the service to say the least.

I do recommend that lovely, cozzy, and full off vintage look place, all day long. I promise, this place is worth visiting when you in Bath. Superb A+++ Thank you for your hospitality. 😉😘

A lovely welcoming spot! We came for wine and food - both were delicious and good value. The food in particular left a great impression. It was rustic, homemade and delicious! Will return! A big thank you to Arthur for being so attentive and helpful.

We were here on a Sunday lunchtime and sadly the place was empty so there was no atmosphere. I can only think it's because their prices are too high. The food was nice but seemed expensive for what it was. We had a fondue for two. It was tasty but not a traditional fondue on a burner like in France but served in like a camembert packaging with potato wedges and bread. At £39 it seemed overpriced. For dessert, we had madeleines and ice cream - the madeleines were very good but they give you one tiny scoop of ice cream. And the cheapest champagne is £14 a glass. Maybe if they lowered their prices a bit they'd get more customers.

Lovely little place selling great wine and lovely food. Definitely try the monkfish soup - it’s brilliant.

Celebrated my 30th birthday here. Absolutely amazing place. Champagnes are amazing here! Thank you Arthur for being the best of advising us on the drinks! Definitely will come back :) lovely stuff ☺️

Good service and good tapas. The five cheese board was exquisite and the duck very tasty. Recommended for informal sharing of dishes.

Amazing food, wine and Service.

Fabulous. We arrived without booking and were lucky to get a table. We had a fondue and about 8 tapas between 4 of us. Our waitress, Divine, was really attentive and served us well. It worked out about £50pp including wine, which you can easily spend at any of the the chain restaurants without getting the same quality food.

Lovely little find, the service was outstanding by Anetta who was very knowledgeable and made good suggestions. The Manager was also very friendly and spent time talking to us. I recommend this little gem in Bath, it was a perfect start to our shopping weekend.

Delicious French style tapas! Lovely cosy atmosphere with lush decor, the food and drink were great - recommend the pork cheek. Aneffa served us and was so friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend !

Anetta has been fabulous and gave us good recommendations to the tapas choices. She has great knowleage of wine and champagne and we very much enjoyed her explanation to food. Very much a foodie couple, we are convinced that this has become our favourite restaurant and we will come back again and again. All dishes we ordered were nice. Can't fault any of them.

Enjoyed a lovely dinner here last night , a place to enjoy some great champagnes with a great food selection . The mixed cured meats and cheese board was delightful. Our waitress- Amelie was great and provided great service for us - thank you 😍

Very disappointing overall, the escargots I got were incredibly chewy, the rest of the food was not fresh and was barely lukewarm. Shame, as the place seemed quite nice.

Anetta and Eliza were warm, welcoming hosts to our very enjoyable evening of cheese and champagne cocktails! Both ladies were friendly attentive, and reserved all judgement when we kept ordering additional boards! The variety and knowledge here is a goldmine - make sure to book in!

We were meeting up with family in for lunch and looked for somewhere special and Comptoir+Cuisine exceeded our expectations. The ambiance, food and quality was excellent. Special mention for Amelie as the table service was first class. We will definitely come again when we are in Bath

Wow! French Tapas for late afternoon lunch. Each incredibly tasty dish was bought out in stages.. thus getting to appreciate the flavours one at a time... This Bistro came out on top as our favourite food of the weekend.. Can't recommend it highly enough! The pork cheeks and courgette and carrot fritters were my favourite oh and they are dog friendly too. We will be back!.

Excellent meal. For two guests. We had baked camembert, monkfish. Pork cheeks and Aubergine. Every dish was excellent. The service was very good especially Anette, who so patiently explained the menu and made Excellent recommendations.

Just popped in on the odd chance and had one of those experiences where everything was perfect. The plate of cheese and meat was exquisitely presented and tasted equally as good. A wonderful mix of taste and texture. I would recommend.

Cosy, intimate, casual - French style. No pretence, just really great food, served as sharing plates. An interesting and varied wine list. Good vegan and vegetarian options. One of my favourite places in Bath.

Excellent food. The cheeses available are all fantastic, and all of the dishes were extremely well cooked. Also recommend the champagne flight - there were some excellent wines.

Fantastic lunch with friends. Food was delicious and service extremely good. Good range of beers as well as wines.

A solid place for French cheese lover. Presentation is very solid, selection is adequate. I give 4* due to simply not getting enough food for the money paid - when it comes to the cheese board and the tapas both. The décor of the place is great though!

Found this family run style french restaurant. Everything is well made w fresh ingredients n cooked in classic french techniques. Love sauces that accompany the meats. Every thing was excellent!!

A small overlooked bistro in Bath. We really enjoyed the champagne and cheese. The host was really friendly and we had a lovely time.

our 2nd visit after having had some great food here before. Food overall is delicious. Camembert, cauliflower and Aubergine were our favourites. Unfortunately, Onglet steak was very small for price (precooked weight less than 100g?) and overcooked. Also all dishes we had were only luke warm. We felt that overall the plates were very small for the price so that we had to order 4 plates each not to leave hungry. Which in the end left us a with a bill of just under £70 pp incl a bottle of house wine (no coffee/ deserts). Service was very friendly and attentive and atmosphere cosy French bistro. Overall good but quite pricey. If you are hungry you might want to go to places like C.K. or B.C. nearby where you get more for your buck.

Stayed in bath for a few days, one afternoon about 1ish we stumbled across this place and immediately fell in love with it, by far our favourite restaurant in Bath. The food, wine, service and ambience of the place is awesome....we will be back..

The atmosphere was cosy and the service was excellent. Our server explained what the restaurant was about and gave recommendations. We ordered the rosemary and honey Camembert, though good, we could not taste any rosemary or honey. We also ordered a selection of 3 French meats which the server explained what they were when brought to us. The food was amazing and surprisingly filling. Definitely will go again!

Came across this restaurant in desperate need of lunch before heading to the Spa, so we were a little short on time. Very cute inside (think... French childless middle-age couple that has spent too much time in The States... but wants to feel "at home"). Ordered the 3 meats/cheese charcuterie board, which was delicious. However, I do wish there was a more detailed description (or menu) on what the meats/cheeses were. The waiter was very quick when they rattled off what we were eating. All in all, nice establishment; would go back when I had more time to enjoy it.

It was a gift from my son and we has trouble getting codes to load. The management were very understanding and allowed us to enjoy the experience and let them have what was needed later . At no point was I made to feel uncomfortable as we were having wifi issues so couldn't load. Very enjoyable .

The food was excellent, the wine brilliant and the staff and the service they supplied was amazing. They didn't know it was a special day for us, but they made it memorable. If you want a cosy and intimate experience this should be on your list.

We went for their cheese, meat and tapenades board and it was gorgeous! The food and wine was so nice and the staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and couldn't help you enough. A particular thank you to Annetta who took good care of us!

very nice little french restaurant where enjoy a wide range of french wine, charcuterie and cheese, as a start or a light lunch, and other specialities always nice and tasty. the location is great and relaxing too, even though it's on a main central road in Bath, and the staff is definitely a plus for that restaurant. . it is always a good experience to be repeated again and again.

Restaurant with very good French cuisine. We went as a family, but it has a very romantic atmosphere, ideal for couples. The setting and decoration is very well maintained. The attention of the staff is very good. We really enjoyed it and it's a place to return to if we're passing through Bath.

Lovely place, lovely service. Enticing menu. Possibly the worst food I’ve ever eaten: dry, overcooked, pretty much tasteless except for the truffle oil; one item was inedibly over-salted. It turns out all the dishes had been prepared in advance and were just being reheated. This simply doesn’t work with food that’s designed to be delicate and subtle. If you risk it, check the chef is in the kitchen.

First time dining at this restaurant while visiting bath, couldn’t recommend this place enough. Was made to feel very welcome by all staff. Our waitress Anetta made us feel very comfortable and couldn’t do enough for us. Very knowledgeable about the menu. Enjoyed the aubergine dish that much we ordered it twice. 10 out of 10 would definitely visit here again

Interesting place, with wobbly tables, hit-and-miss food, and a minimal atmosphere. Food is like Tapas but varies dramatically in size. The onions soup on toast was great, but the scallops were unedible. Imbassingly after an £80 lunch, the two of us headed into town for food. Seems popular with the ladies who lunch crowd. Which if this the thing you'll be satisfied with. Not a place ee would recommend for a meal, especially at standard Bath prices.

We were looking for a new restaurant to have lunch in Bath and discovered this unique French vibe restaurant which has authentic decor and a naughty side! Food was tapas small plate style & great, with unusual options to add interest to lunch. Wine was lovely also. A fabulous experience and we will go back.

Went for dinner last night to celebrate my birthday, the food was absolutely delicious and service was great! Cameron was lovely all night and looked after us!! I would definitely come back again!

Very disappointing! Me and my partner visited comptior Saturday lunch time around 2pm. We were shown to our table and told by our waiter that every dish was made fresh and would come out when ready. We ordered around 5 tapas dishes including duck conflit, the scallop bomb and the beef to name a few. Everything was either cold or luke warm and flavourless. When I mentioned this to the waiter he said he would pass this information back to the chef. That was the last time I heard anything. £85 for some below average food is a disgrace and I hope no one else's fall for this joke of a restaurant.
