We attended Mauls last night for a birthday and the staff were absolutely amazing. Friendly welcoming and really helpful. The produce they have is top quality and tasted absolutely gorgeous. The mushroom and truffle pate was to die for, I don't usually order things like that as I'm quite fussy but Mauls has converted me. After an amazing meal we had to try the cannolis and they were unbelievable. Well done Mauls you have an amazing place with fantastic food. A definite must go to when your here in salisbury. Will definitely be coming back to salisbury just to go to Mauls again

Another lovely stay at the Balmoral. Clean and comfortable. All staff very friendly and efficient. Food super and varied and catered well for gluten free. Evening entertainment very enjoyable. Have already booked another stay.

A nice little café that offers fresh food made to order (paninis, sandwiches, jacket potatoes), plus the staffs are very friendly and helpful. Portions are quite big, value for money is good, great place for lunch or a coffee break

Grim food. Soggy salt and pepper squid, beef that was inedibly salty, all quite lukewarm. Lots went in the bin

What a delightful evening learning how to make a door wreath. A lovely welcome with snow suddenly falling over the entrance ! The wreath making demonstration was informal with everything supplied to make and design your own wreath after tucking into a scrummy snack menu and mulled wine finishing off the evening with a mince pie ! Just perfect !!!

Went in there today with my wife around 11am with high expectations and wasn't disappointed. Had the large full English. Eggs were perfectly cooked. They were under pressure as they only had one chef but the lady told me that immediately and then poured me another cup of tea. Some great local characters in there too. We will be back.....UTCIAD!

Had some great times here. New years eve was fantastic. Bar staff are wonderful.

Great Christmas lunch 2024, perfect. We have eaten at the old rectory on several occasions and we are never disappointed. The intimacy of the rooms may not suit everyone but service, food and wine are always excellent. Highly recommended. Diane and Bob Cirencester.
