I love this independent coffee shop. Cakes delicious. Staff lovely and efficient. I ordered an iced coffee and a glass of water to drink in. ONLY QUESTION IS WHY SERVE the coffee in a single use plastic cup???? Water was in a glass. We cannot afford to do this to our planet anymore. Please please stop. Perhaps we could ask for it to be served in a glass in future…….. ?

It is a fantastic little coffee shop. They not only sell great coffee but also sell different types of cakes. The staff were friendly. We loved it. A great place to have a coffee.

The peanut square is worth the walk from town; in fact that is the main reason I go. It is my favourite coffee shop cake, I just love it. The place is so cute and the other cakes are fab too...plus the coffee is good

Small but perfectly formed & apt if you’re in this area. I wouldn’t call it a destination coffee shop, but it was popular and hosts friendly and welcoming staff with warm & non-abrasive sense of humour and care for their coffee. The coffee was divine and the tea bag choice fresh, clean and tasty. I ate a delicious moist oat, date and apple tray bake. Artisan Light bites rather than the full English type of place.

An excellent coffee and serving fresh food. Only get to visit occasionally but I have always enjoyed my coffee there.

Had a fabulous time here, food was well above expectation.

Held a private event here and it was fantastic! The staff were completely faultless and welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. They buffet style charcuterie broads were a treat, and they also made amazing cocktails all night. Would highly recommend for a private event, the commutation in the planning stage was great, could tell they really cared. Thanks so much Havanas for making our engagement party so special. Side note: the coffee is also great during the day and they're an equally good cafe as they are party venue ❤️🎉☕

Absolutely lovely place to meet friends for a coffee, food, grab a take away for a walk ect. The staff are always so friendly and accommodating. Went in once and couldn't decide between two drinks and the next thing I knew the barista on duty had come up with a unique concoction of the two and it was INCREDIBLE! It's now my order every time I go in. Amazing Place.

Coming from Brighton, it's easy to get blasé about having good coffee shops a few minutes walk from home, but this isn't the case everywhere. The residents of Cheltenham who live near Havanas can count themselves fortunate - this is a fine little café that makes a great cup of coffee and some fine cakes, pastries and sandwiches. The service is very good, friendly and efficient. It seems very popular with locals, which is not surprising.

I love this place. Havs is my favourite and regular cafe in the local area. I can be sure to get vegan food (Steven the Vegan breakfast cigar; vegan porridge; mezze bowl; cake by day, and sharing board and cocktails in the evening). I can always get a decent oat flat white or a can of Cawstons. But it's the friendly atmosphere and chance to sit in the windows and watch the world go by that I love. The staff make this place - every one of them is lovely.

Not the cheapest but then again , nowhere is cheap for coffee these days. But, in terms of quality Havana is the best by a long way. Excellent.

A quaint little cafe, haven't been downstairs. On menu, it said Welsh Rarebit-'something'! Oh yes, my favourite, real Welsh Rarebit. But no, like others who think they will call cheese on toast W.R. please just look on utube or Google on how to make it. Trades description & all that... What I had was yummy, but not WELSH RAREBIT! A Buck rarebit has a poached egg on & there's one with bacon. An excellent chip dish:- On chips, put chopped raw onion, grated cheese and/or crispy bacon pieces. Mix tabasco sauce & tomatoe sauce as a dip, 3 YUMs... Created this years before dirty chips came along. Now serving it in Os & S.A. & North Weld Flying Club... Hava naigeilla...

Had a delicious pannini, served with nachos and salad, and a cappuccino for lunch there today. My daughter and I sat outside and had a very pleasant lunch. Very impressed with my first visit.

Been using this great independent coffee shop for a few years always a warm welcome great service and excellent food

Looked busy which is a good sign. However waited 10 minutes after ordering a takeout. People turned up and sat outside 20 mins later their order turned up and no sign of ours when asked we were told they were busy. Well only because they were so slow. Slow is probably an understatement. Coffee was good but not worth the wait.

I do love a chai latte but like it a certain way, not too sweet but with some spice. The chai latte at Havanas hits the spot with a lovely frothy top. They have a great selection of sweet treats and the staff are friendly. A lovely little coffee shop, definitely worth a visit.

Unfortunately, I've had to edit my review of Havanas Cafe. I'd actually been coming here for a while. I really like it. A really nice atmosphere. A delicious selection of food and coffee. I was so impressed. Then there came a point when I did notice a slight difference in the attitude of the staff towards me. I don't know why. I always tried to be polite. Then one of the staff members made a negative comment about me when they thought I was out of earshot. I was so disappointed. This was a while ago and I haven't been back since. It's such a shame. I thought the place was so nice.

I had a Smokey Joe panini it was very good. The menu options for food and drink are great and everything looked fresh and clean. Really like the feel of the café and the staff were friendly. Just my first visit but I'll be going back 👍

A very nice coffee and a delicious lemon slice in - or rather outside - this friendly cafe near the centre of Cheltenham and not far from Pittville Park. Staff are nice, it's a lovely area, yes there were three shots in my coffee not two! Great to be able to go into cafes again and this was a fabulous one to start with.

During lockdown we had fabulous sharing tapas. Three types of bread, cheeses, salamis, olives, balsamic and oil, sundried tomatoes, roast veg, chutney, humous and more.... oh and crisps... 3 types. Fabulous!

Been here a couple of times over the last month, whilst waiting for my son having his driving test, It truly is a great find. Lovely décor and ambiance; very friendly staff; a decent selection of cakes, prompt service and Covid aware. More than happy and would certainly recommend.

Wonderful hot chocolate in delightfully quirky mugs. Loved everything thing about our prolonged drinks and conversation, complete with 4 dogs!! Lively atmosphere. Would definitely recommend.
