The best coffee in Cheltenham (and there are quite a few to choose from!). Staff are friendly and the atmosphere is just what you want for your morning coffee. Have been a regular for years and will continue to be so.

A cute little spot that serves good coffee 😍 the milk is smooth and consistently good. They have different coffee beans so you can choose your preference - and if you're not sure, the staff will recommend something depending on what you like. They also have sweet treats so perfect for a nibble.

My favourite place for coffee in Cheltenham, the coffee is amazing with different ones to choose from, such a lovely atmosphere inside and a great outdoor space in the summer. Croissants and cakes are yummy and lots of options for different dietary requirements. Perfect for people with kids as well as it opens early!

Very pleasant experience. Unfortunately all purveyors of liquids containing caffeine now have to be compared with the positively divine Slō Cafe ......and non quite meet Slō's exceptionally high standards.

I am a coffee snob, who has worked as a trained barista in NYC, Melbourne AUS, and California. I can say without a shadow of a doubt - One of the best coffees in Cheltenham! My cappuccino and lattes are never over/under extracted, milk is always the right consistency/temp, added sweetener is completely unnecessary. Perfection. Also, their pistachio croissant is to die for.

I love everything about Scandi. To me it’s a real life mindfulness tool in my armoury. As soon as I walk in I instantly feel calmer. The music is always great, the staff are lovely (and calm!), the banana bread is delicious and when it’s sunny they have created a great outdoor area.

Lovely coffee shop with yummy pastries, highly recommend the pistachio croissant. Warm atmosphere but unfortunately it was full (showing how popular it is) but thankfully some seating outside. They were able to use my reusable cup too!

It's reasonable-ok for a quick coffee, but nothing special. The drinks seem to only be served luke warm. I asked the one lady serving about this, and she said it's because they are hand brewed. My friend and I did have a second coffee though and asked if it could be microwaved to warm it up a bit.

I absolutely love this place. A great place to work, grab something to eat with a friend/family and all accompanied by some of the best coffee I've ever had. Definitely recommended, whether you're just visiting town or haven't tried it yet. Oh, and everyone's really lovely there too!

When I come to Cheltenham I always stop here. Always a good selection of coffee and made to a good temperature. Also a good selection of sweets and cakes a small coffee shops you might not get a seat if it’s busy

Such a wonderful find on a Sunday morning! Though we wouldn’t be able to get a good coffee at 8am and turns out this beautiful pod is open everyday of the week! Love the coffee cups they use too. Often I’m having issues holding cups that get very hot but they have these lovely designs which allow you to hold it without being burnt. Lovely coffee and drinks selection. I enjoyed a yummy mocha 😊 Keep up the good work!

I like to think of myself as a coffee enthusiast and aspiring connoisseur. I would rather go without than drink Starbucks or Costa. I found this place when staying in Cheltenham! A huge selection of coffees and brewing styles. I went for a V60 pourover, and it was very good. This would be my go to if I lived in the area.

Friendly service, intimate environment with basic but comfortable outdoor seating. Had a chai, which can be a gamble from a coffee place but was divine and gives me confidence for the rest of their menu. Just the thing after a long weekend!

<3 The Scandinavian Coffee Pod <3 Aww, this is literally my heaven! Absolutely adore this place and I tell/drag everyone I meet to come here for coffee. I just love visiting, it is always a delight. Every cup of coffee is just perfectly crafted. The amount of effort the team put in, ensuring that each and every cup hits on the right notes. From selecting the right beans, to calibrating the grinders and their phenomenal execution of it all is just sublime. Along with their exceptional coffee are their fine selection of cakes to accompany the brew. It's my most favourite thing; to come and join them for my morning breakfast, the "calm before the storm" if you will. Before I venture into the office to face whatever it is lays before me. To take a moment and enjoy the vibe, the coffee and their cakes. And to top it all off, the staff <3 the wonderful staff. There are other good coffee shops in Cheltenham, but it's only at "The Pod" do you have such fantastic staff. It's the reason I go back every time and it's a credit to the business to have such lovely and dedicated staff! Thanks Sophie for such a wonderful business! My only wish is that I could come to you more often =)

Amazing coffee and a genuinely Nordic experience

We came here on our first visit to Cheltenham, based on some Google reviews indicating it as one of the best in the area. Good quality coffee (Assembly on tap) which was well made and a good frothed oat milk. Cakes reasonably tasty but a little overpriced for the size. Friendly staff and answered our questions about the blends. We would prefer ceramic mugs if dining in and a couple of cushions on the hard MDF benches. Some people were working but we can’t see how it’s comfortable to sit there for more than an hour and it’s small inside so isn’t really work friendly we’d say. We think this is better as a take out option and take it to one of the local parks in the area 🌷🌷🌷 (about three minutes walk away)

Best espresso in Cheltenham no doubt. The roasts are darker than I prefer but the bean does usually come through. Sweet pastries are fresh and tasty but there are no savory. Good service indoors but only paper cups if you sit on the benches outside.

The title says it all here - the coffee is awesome, the pastries superb. The interior is a nice example of a fairly minimalist design and the staff are helpful. This is possibly the best spot for coffee in Cheltenham. It's small, so please don't hang around with your laptop for hours hogging a table, make way for more customers!

I've been drinking speciality coffee since 2010, having first been introduced to it by Maxwell at Colonna and Smalls. I've drunk a lot of it, and thought I knew it well. That was until I visited The Scandinavian Coffee Pod, had an oat flat white and an AeroPress, and then realised I needed to re-evaluate everything I knew about coffee. They were simply the best two coffees I've ever had in my life, and have made me realise that there's still so much about coffee for me to discover, even 12 years in to exploring it. I will gladly make the 40 minute journey to Cheltenham again simply to visit this place. Thank you!

THE COFFEE HERE IS INCREDIBLE. Possibly the best in Cheltenham (Haven't tried everywhere yet). Staff are well trained and polite. Service is fast. The cafe itself is very unique being a pod. Small selection of food options available too.

Limited food - but coffee is probably the best in Cheltenham

Excellent coffee, you can feel the real taste if you order an espresso. The croissant was very flavourful and of the right size. The atmosphere was minimal and very cosy, exactly what you'd expect when you think about Scandinavian. The staff is not Scandinavian, but attentive and friendly nonetheless. Absolutely recommended.

Lovely vibe but a bit disappointed when i visited this mini cafe. There wasn't much pastries to choose from. Also, my iced mocha was TOO sweet 💀. Although, the croissant tasted very good and it was fluffy.

As soon I wrote this review, one minute after so called Nathan left 1star on my webiste as well. How revengeful are these people. Cant even accept a straight opinion on their business. Keep in mind that what you see online is nothing you get when you got there. Cakes are bad, dried outdated for sure. The cofee is watery as well. Looks like they try to spend at least possible while charging you a 3.6 pounds for a dried banana cake. For sure will not go back.

After reading reviews, I was excited to try this coffee shop. I was disappointed to pay £7.00 for an iced, oat milk, latte this size. Taste was fine but not the best iced latte I’ve had.

Great Rwandan on aeropress, sweet, balanced and the right acidity, loved this little cafe’ P.S. whatever problem with extraction or anything else first you put trough more shots to understand what might be the problem, roasting issue, grinder issue, coffee machine issue, regarding the problem shots waste is inevitable to understand the problem as quick as possible to offer the best shot to the customer ;) ;) ;) ;) ;)

What a beautiful place and the coffee was beyond great. I really like it and it is a shame is so far from home. Visit if you are a coffee lover you won't be disappointed. Also, the cakes were excellent.
