Rockbeare Manor in East Devon

My son & his partner got married at Rockbeare Manor on 31st August, it was a truly magical day. From 7am when we arrived at The Dairy for all the girls to have their hair & make up done, to 11am the following day, we could not fault any aspect of the event. Steph was the event manager for the day & nothing was too much trouble for her, she was so hard working & nothing was too much trouble for her.👏👏 I'd also like to thank all of the staff on duty during the event, you were all wonderful, but special mention for the barman in the evening (sorry forgot your name), what a lovely hard working guy & really personable. Anyone who is thinking of booking Rockbeare for you're wedding, don't hesitate, get it booked & I guarantee you won't regret it. Thanks again to everyone at Rockbeare.

We got married on 28th August and want to say Thank you so much for a brilliant day. To all the staff that worked you were amazing. We had Leah for the day and she was phenomenal, so helpful and the attention to detail was on point. She was brilliant with the kids. We had the ice cream truck and that went down brilliantly everyone was asking were it came from people want more 😂. The food was delicious again so many people complementing on it. Beautiful place attended a wedding

I recently attended a wedding at Rockbeare as Maid of Honour. What a stunning location! Can honestly say I was wowed by how smoothly the staff ran the day. Everybody I spoke to was kind, friendly and helpful - we didn’t have to ask for anything because it was already taken care of! Highly recommend.

We had our wedding at Rockbeare last Sunday 18th August! Well what can I say… the whole day was perfect! This is the only wedding venue we visited and we didn’t need to look any further as we feel in love straight away! Melissa looked after us on the day and she was fantastic! Nothing was too much trouble! Everyone loved the venue, food and how organised everything was! We stayed at the Dairy the night before with mother of the bride and bridesmaids which made the night before so exciting! The 13 bedrooms are stunning!! The guests loved them! All the staff at Rockbeare worked so hard in making sure we had the perfect day! Thanks so much for making our day a fairy tale! Laura & Scott

We had our fantastic wedding here on 5th August. The day was perfect and everything went so smoothly. Our event manager, Leah, was wonderful from the start. From the planning meeting to keeping us organised on the day, she was there every step of the way. The staff were so friendly and attentive and food was amazing. We were so well looked after. We truly could not have wished for a better day. If you're looking for a wedding venue in Devon, look no further!

Honoured to have come here last weekend to celebrate our good friends wedding. What can I say .... apart from truly magical, the Manor, the grounds & all the amazing attentive staff. The freedom to roam & chill in different parts of the manor and gardens made what was a lovely day for the newly weds. The food was amazing, 3 courses of delicious, hot, well presented food and each table being served together by well-mannered staff, nothing was too much for them. We were even allowed to stay in our Motorhome in the carpark free of charge which saved us on hotel & taxi cost. Certainly worth looking at for anyone planning a wedding ....... highly recommended.

A week today we got Married at Rockbeare Manor & are on the highest of highs - We looked at the venue 2yrs ago & didn't need to look further - We loved the tree lined Drive & the view of the Manor & grounds was stunning. & we loved that the venue would be exclusive to us on the day. At our first meeting, Davey was welcoming, friendly, professional, and informative about all our options and the package offered - He took the time to explain everything in detail. All staff we spoke to over the last 2 years were amazing, on every level. Nothing was ever too much! Steph was our main point of contact for much of the 2 years and was there to assist on the day - Steph always had a welcoming smile, was professional, took the time to get to know us as a couple & gave so much welcomed guidance throughout, up to and including on the day. - Steph you really were Amazing & made us feel so special ! and the team who were working alongside you on the day behind the scenes were equally as friendly, professional & welcoming, The rooms were clean and comfortable with the most amazing views of the grounds (wish we'd been able to stay longer) The food throughout the day was amazing! & Breakfast the next morning was superb! We had lots of guests comment on the venue, The quality of the food & the professionalism of every member of staff. Our day was Perfect , and more than we could've wished for & we can't wait to re-visit Rockbeare Manor in the future. Lia & Jon

Myself and my husband got married on 20th June 2024 at this gorgeous venue!! Nothing was too much trouble from the minute we booked our wedding nearly 2 years before. What can we say! My daughter married her soul mate at Rockbeare Manor 2 weeks ago. We were blown away. The staff were exceptional and Steph attended to every detail with professionalism, a smile and willingness that would be hard to beat. What a great team supporting Steph - you were all amazing. Rockbeare Manor was the first place we viewed for our wedding venue, we were blown away we loved the idea it was exclusive to us and that the Manor would be full to the rafters with our loved ones! We had a spectacular day, Davy looked after us and did not disappoint, nothing was to much trouble! We used the dairy to get ready which I would recommend it was just beautiful! We wish we could do it all again the food was delicious the drinks were flowing and it was simply the most amazing day at the most amazing venue! Thank you Rockbeare you were fantastic! We came here for our friends wedding. And WOW what a beautiful location. The staff were all very helpful and kind. I cannot give the location enough praise, might be one of the prettiest views I've seen in England in along long time. My friend said they were extremely happy with their entire experience with them and that they brought them a sense of calm and support from the very first conversation. It is no surprise that they've won best wedding venue in the southwest. Only thing to keep in mind is that it is a bit remote, and there is limited phone reception. You might want to arrange transportation for your guests or remind them to prebook taxis.

Attended a wedding on a Friday there. Nice location, views great. Room looked nice, comfy bed. No tea and coffee facilities that I had expected. Disappointing. It was a long way to Spill a drink from downstairs, through doors and up 5 flights of stairs. Less risk (and mess) having drinks in rooms. No tv in rooms, ok for us but a child may have been comforted in room by its presence during or after a wedding or for the baby sitter. The new wedding planner was good and helped when needed. Needed to get into our room earlier than allowed, after the meal 6pm ish. Expensive for restricted use. :(

We would highly recommend Rockbeare Manor to couples looking for a wedding venue. Leah was our event manager and we can not thank her enough. She was so quick to respond to our emails throughout the whole planning process which was so reassuring! We had lots of guests with dietary requirements which rockbeare managed amazingly! Although rockbeare do lots of weddings per year, they still made us feel special with brilliant attention to detail! The bedrooms are so nice for guests to stay in and the sunset we had on the day was the cherry on top of the cake. Stunning venue and welcoming and attentive staff.

My husband and I had our incredible wedding on Tuesday 21st May 2024 at Rockbeare Manor and we were over the moon with how the day went and how amazing every single member of staff at the manor are. From the moment we had our first appointment to view the manor, to the moment when we booked our day and right up until the actual day, we felt extremely well looked after and could not have been put at any more ease than we were by the Rockbeare Manor team. The staff are all superb and we felt very special on the day. The manor itself is absolutely stunning, inside and out. We are not local to Devon as we travelled from Kent, and a few people questioned, "why Devon?" but as soon as they saw the venue, they all understood why! Our wedding party were blown away with how beautiful the venue is, how tasty and the food and drinks were and the fantastic service we received. Leah Murphy was our event manager and went above and beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly and ran through every detail with us so we felt comfortable and at ease, which with me being a control freak and an event planner myself, I greatly appreciated! No question or ask was too much for Leah, and we greatly appreciated how attentive Leah was in the run up and on the day. Our day was more than we could have ever wished for. Invited to a wedding, can't fault the place, the service and the price,really good day 👍🫡

Like most couples we looked at a number of venues for our wedding but Rockbeare Manor had our hearts from the moment we walked through the door. The large and spacious Manor House is beautifully decorated and really is a space you can do as much or as little with as you want. From first show around to the big day the staff were kind, friendly and attentive. We truly felt we could relax with our big day in the hand of such experts who guided us through the whole process. I stayed in The Dairy the night before our wedding with my mum and our sisters. It was the perfect night to spend some time with my close family before the big day. We opted for the sharing platter wedding breakfast and the food was incredible. So many guests commented on how good all of the food is. I could go on about how perfect Rockbeare Manor was on our big day but simply put it is a stunning wedding venue managed by an incredible team.

Our entire experience of booking, planning and having our wedding at Rockbeare Manor was simply perfect. From the initial viewing to the day itself, the communication from the staff was excellent. Staff go above and beyond to cater for everyone, always listening to the bride and grooms wishes. No request was too big and we will forever be grateful for such an amazing venue to celebrate our special day. The venue itself is beautiful and the food is fantastic, so many of our guests said it was the best food they’ve eaten at a wedding! Furthermore, there is plenty of space for indoor weddings, should it rain, and the bedrooms are all stunning. All guests who stayed were served an amazing breakfast the following day. From the moment we viewed Rockbeare, we knew it was the venue for us. The fact that it is exclusive use of the grounds and house sold it to us as well as the beautiful manor itself! All the staff were incredible throughout our planning and were on hand for any question big or small. Our wedding was on 9th March 2024 and it really was the most special day. I stayed in The Dairy the night before with my bridesmaids which was comfortable and kick started the wedding weekend. The wedding itself was everything we dreamt of and more! Steph was our wedding coordinator for the day and she was just fabulous! She made us feel incredibly comfortable and catered to all our needs for the day. Leah was also amazing and made sure our music was played and helped me time my walk down the aisle to perfection. I could continue writing everything in detail, but in a few words, Rockbeare is honestly the best wedding venue. For the value for money, you will definitely not want another place to share your magical day. I wish I could do it all over again!

Our Daughter got married on Saturday at this stunning Venue. Rockbeare Manor delivered everything we hoped for and more....Leah is very friendly and helpful and Steph was a gem , nothing was to much for Steph and she makes you feel very welcome. All the staff are well trained and very friendly. The Manor rooms are superb with plenty of room. Anyone looking to use this Venue will not be disappointed. Hi everyone, Shane & I just wanted to express a HUGE thanks to all of you who made our dine & stay experience so special last Friday evening, especially with the kind extras for our 4 year wedding anniversary! Rockbeare holds such a special place in our hearts so to have the opportunity to revisit and relive all those memories together as a married couple was wonderful. A couple little shout outs incoming… Steph was extremely welcoming when we first arrived and whilst being served dinner, she was such fun! We enjoyed sharing lots of laughs together! William & Fin were such gents throughout the evening. Taking care of the bar and providing quality banter and so helpful whilst serving the large group of guests, plus still giving so much time to individual couples too. Leah was wonderful. I had to rush off in the morning as I was performing at Westpoint for the wedding extravaganza fair and Leah made sure we did not leave hungry! She provided a cute breakfast takeaway with pastries, sandwiches and juices. It’s those little extra touches which make all the team here at Rockbeare stand out from all the rest! Andrea rounded off our stay on Saturday morning with her kind & gentle manner, thank you for being so helpful during check out. And the food, oh my, where do we even begin?! Ben & his team are INCREDIBLE. Such impressive flavours, beautiful presentation and creative dishes, clean plates at every course! To this day, we still have family & friends comment on how incredible our wedding day menu was, so to return and enjoy the dining experience again at Rockbeare was bloomin’ delightful! Staying in room 9 was gorgeous. I forgot how beautiful the room is. Perfectly presented, so clean & with all the little extras we could have possibly needed for a comfortable nights stay so thank you to the housekeeping team. I’ve been booked by several couples to perform at Rockbeare throughout 2024 & 2025 so will be in touch closer to these dates to chat through logistics. Every visit is such an honour! This venue is just incredible, everything was perfect for our wedding in November! We booked the venue 2 years in advance, it was the most booked out venue we viewed and now I see why! Communication throughout those 2 years was amazing, they always responded very quickly and all the staff were very friendly and helpful. They were also very relaxed, which was perfect for us. We met Davy when viewing Rockbeare Manor and we felt at ease as soon as we met him, he did a fantastic job with the wedding planning meeting and checking all the details over carefully (we had a lot of dietary requirements). He has so much experience and it shows! Will was our co-ordinator for the wedding and he honestly could not have done more, he is such a lovely person who really cares about giving you the best day. All our guests have since said how amazing he was with any request they had. The food and dinner service were incredible (again we have had a lot of comments how seamlessly the food came out especially with all the dietary requirements and how delicious the food was). The breakfast was amazing, it’s a lovely set up for the morning after the wedding. We had two guests who had a vegan breakfast and couldn’t believe how much effort had been put into their food. The team set up our décor and did a much better job than I would have, it was perfect. Thank you to Anna who looked after us overnight and was very attentive and kind. The venue is incredible with a room for both the bride and groom to get ready in, which really appealed to us. The fireplaces were all lit which was very cosy. The accommodation (The Dairy and Manor) was beautiful, clean and well maintained. Even after the wedding the team have been amazing, our guests had left items behind and they did everything they could to make sure the items were returned to the guests. We know so much goes on behind the scenes and I haven’t mentioned/named everyone but thank you all so much for giving us the most perfect day, it honestly meant the world to us, we really couldn’t have asked for more. You are all amazing at what you do! If you are running the dine and stay overnight this winter, we will definitely book in!

Hi Both, We just wanted to email to say a massive thank you. We are so overwhelmed with how perfect everything was. You were both incredible, so attentive and we felt so calm and relaxed all day. Every single guest complimented us on how amazing the venue was and how well run it was, so huge credit to you. The food, was FAB. It was so nice, again, all guests said that the beef was unbelievable, I think they even tried to get tips on how it was cooked!! There is absolutely nothing I would have changed, you did an absolutely phenomenal job and I will recommend rockbeare every day for the rest of my life! Some of our guests have already recommended to people because they were just blown away with how stunning and well thought out everything was on your end. Davy you were so attentive, always asking if we were ok or needed anything and that meant to much. Throughout this entire process, you have been incredible. So responsive with our questions, supportive with anything we wanted and thank you so much for everything along the way, it’s been flawless. William, thank you so much for helping us set up the day before and for the breakfast in the morning too! You were a smiley friendly face throughout the whole event! The pizza and cake to our room made our night! We genuinely thank you from the bottom of our hearts, if I could do it all again exactly how it was I would, there was nothing I would change, you smashed it out of the park and all our guests were absolutely singing your praises. We are so sad it’s all over, but if you host the dinner and stay next year like you did this year, best believe we will be there!!

Absolutely perfect! We had our wedding here the Saturday just gone; the 14th October and I can honestly say it was the most perfect day. Leah and her team went above and beyond to make our day run smoothly and make it so special. I felt so thankful to have Leah as our co-ordinator. She was exact with every detail, nailed the requests from us and made sure we were okay and looked after throughout the day. She really cares. Davey is also a gem and such a nice helpful guy. All the team were really relaxed and from booking the venue everything was ran with precision. The venue is absolutely stunning, beautiful inside and out so weather doesn’t matter! Rockbeare Manor and its staff were amazing! They made the whole process of organising a wedding extremely easy. No question or query was too big or a problem and they were always dealt with promptly. We were lucky enough to hold our wedding at the stunning Rockbeare Manor, Devon on 16th July 2023, we had an absolutely magical day, thanks to Aimee Carveth and her amazing team. We could not fault anything at all...... food was amazing and hot, bedrooms were beautiful, the staff were polite, and super helpful, the day was perfect. Rockbeare Manor is an original old and Beautiful Manor set in a huge estate surrounded by farms and countryside, with lovely gardens, and an amazing lake. Several rooms for functions including a main function room so ideal for weddings etc.

Excellent service very friendly

We got married in July 2023 here, and it was just so wonderful. They looked after us answering ALL of our many queries, were always so accommodating and making sure on the day we felt looked after. Such a beautiful setting and every guest was in awe of how lovely the venue was. Thank you so much, we would recommend this venue over and over again.

I had the pleasure of booking Rockbeare manor for my wedding. The venue itself is stunning, the hotel rooms are luxurious and I would recommend staying if you are having a wedding here. Beautiful wedding venue, amazing food!

Rockbeare Manor is a stunning venue with beautiful, generously sized rooms and wonderful staff. I was here as a bridesmaid in a wedding. The Dairy worked well as a place for bridesmaids to rest the night before and get hair and makeup done the morning of. We were then able to head over to the main venue between 11.30-12.30 to enjoy the rest of the day. The area bridesmaids got ready in was great, a generous sized room with water and a light lunch served. There are large mirrors, areas for hanging bridesmaid dresses and the bride's dress and a makeup area. My only criticism of this room is there isn't a toilet to use so we had to go up and down the stairs in our dresses as wedding guests were arriving. Staff worked above and beyond to help a smooth day. The room for the ceremony was cosy but the grounds for photos and confetti were stunning and huge. They served ice cream between the ceremony and the main meal and games on the lawn were a good in-between activity. Staff were friendly and all meals were table service and the main manager kept the top table informed with timings and made sure they were ready for the next course. The bar opened in the evening and closed at 11.45pm as guests not staying were expected to leave at midnight. There was a bar tender on hand to serve residential guests until they went to bed allowing people to make the most of the day. I stayed in room 3 which was through an archway and up a few stairs with a toilet, bathroom and two rooms (one double and one twin). Lovely views and rooms, only small critiques are that there was no mirror in the room with the toilet and basin, and the twin room had no hooks for towels to dry. These minor details did not detract from the stunning venue and amazing day. The morning after saw all of us in the ceremony room around a large table for breakfast which was a lovely way to end the wedding. Special mention to Sian, one of the waitresses who helped find me non-alcoholic alternatives, and leapt into action when a smashed glass was reported on the dance floor - all staff were great and went above and beyond but she stood out and was the only name I caught.

Shame the weather wasn’t on our side but the venue was spectacular!

Went here for a wedding. Beautiful surroundings, and the food was top notch. The only thing I would say is that the arrival was a bit disorganised as there was nobody to meet or greet, to tell you where to go or how to find the bar etc cetera. Needs someone front of house to usher in guests and direct them.

As the father of the bride I am writing to thank you and your staff for your superb service on the 8th of July. I have always worked in customer facing services and have to compliment you on your attention to detail at every stage of our day which went without a hitch. I was so impressed by the table service, something many guests spoke to me about, which was so fluid and efficient. I also noticed how you placed the flowers throughout the weekend to best effect without any prompting. The food was excellent and the evening food just kept coming throughout the evening so that guests could enjoy hot pizza at a time to suit them. The accommodation was beautiful and spotlessly clean. Somehow you managed to give us excellent and attentive service whilst being so discreet it was almost as if things just happened by magic. On behalf of myself and my wife I would like to thank you so much for making our time with you so special. Thanks to Jess who superbly managed our day and ensured we had everything at the right time in the right place. I recently attended a wedding at Rockbeare Manor in Exeter and I have to say, it was an absolutely amazing experience! The venue itself is stunning, with beautiful grounds and a grand entrance that really sets the tone for the whole event. The reception was held in the main ballroom, which was spacious and elegantly decorated - the perfect setting for a wedding celebration! But what really stood out to me was the level of service provided by the staff. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel welcome and well taken care of. The staff were attentive and professional, always on hand to ensure that everything ran smoothly. We also had the pleasure of staying in one of the rooms at Rockbeare Manor, and I have to say, it was one of the most luxurious hotel rooms I have ever stayed in. The decor was beautiful and the bed was incredibly comfortable - we slept like babies! All in all, I would highly recommend Rockbeare Manor as a wedding venue. I was lucky enough to get Married at Rockbeare in Apr 23! I could not recommend it enough, from Day 1 at the initial meetings to the actual day everything was handled in a professional manner. The day ran absolutely perfectly and I only have Rockbeare Manor and in particularly Jess who we can not thank enough!

We got married at Rockbeare in March and it was truly spectacular. The venue speaks for itself, it is truly stunning. But it would not be the venue it is without the staff - you make this THE place to get married. Throughout the planning process no question was too silly and your maticulous eye for detail during meetings ensured everything ran smoothly. Thankyou to Anna, Aimee and team who were there throughout planning and ran our day. But also thank you to the hospitality team - we had so many comments about how attentive and friendly everyone was. Oh to do it all again we would and i'm slightly jealous of all the upcoming couples planning their big day with you. They've struck gold, and you should all be so proud of what you do. Every wedding has the exclusive use of the Manor and this combined with wonderful service, a beautiful setting, friendly smiles and delicious food make it a perfect place to say I do. The Most perfect wedding venue💕 Rockbeare Manor is the most perfect wedding venue it’s so beautiful and charming. All the staff are absolutely amazing and go above and beyond to do everything for you. The food is outstanding. It has the most beautiful room for the bridal party to get ready in and it’s so perfect to get married outside in the garden, every room in the whole venue is absolutely gorgeous. The bedrooms are also outstanding. And a big thank you to the chef who made our chocolate brownie tower for us and huge thank you to Helen Davey for helping us when we arrived at the venue and guiding us all the way through and all the support through Covid and a huge thank you to Davy Pinder-White for all his help on the day he was there in the morning when we arrive till the moment left next day and for making the day go so smooth and perfect 😍 Chris & Carlene Wedding 2nd June 2022

There are no words to describe how wonderful Rockbeare Manor is. It is stunning, inside and out. The staff are all so friendly, helpful and professional - they really make it come alive. They cannot do enough for you and your guests, and make you feel as though your wedding is the only thing they care about. The food is absolutely sublime. The accommodation is gorgeous, modern and comfortable but in keeping with the beautiful building and feel of the place. Rockbeare Manor is just perfect! The getting ready room for the girls is a wonderful space and really special. Our wedding was in December so there was candlelight everywhere whichI would thoroughly recommend, but I am sure it would suit a summer wedding too as the grounds are so gorgeous. The ceremony (dining) room is an incredibly beautiful room and the ballroom is the perfect space for the sit down meal followed by a party. I cannot recommend it enough! For those staying the night, the breakfast the next day is such a perfect end - everyone sits around a huge dining table and is served the most delicious food. I could not imagine a more perfect location for a wedding. The house, the grounds, the food and the people are all phenomenal.

Hi Jess, we hope you are well. We have been meaning to send you an email since the wedding but life is just so busy! We want to say thank you so much for all of your hard work on our wedding day! We couldn’t be happier with how the day went – it was the best day of our lives and you were a big part of that. From the initial viewing with Anna in April/ May you have all been so helpful. Anna was so knowledgeable, answering all of our questions. We love the transparency and all the information you shared with us before we booked with you. We felt confident we had made the right choice with Rockbeare and now would recommend you guys to everyone! The planning meeting in September really put our minds at ease that the day would go well – you and Aimee thought of everything and gave some brilliant suggestions which we hadn’t considered but that made the day go so smoothly. Having 138 people there with so many different decorations, timings, vendors, etc, I was worried something would go wrong but we left the planning meeting feeling really excited! Following this and up until the wedding you were all super responsive and helpful on email – answering all of our questions quickly and informatively. On the day itself, Jess you were SO helpful. You were on top of everything, regularly checking in to see if we needed anything or prompting us/ the bridal party when we had forgotten something. You really went above and beyond, even helping me with Chris’ jacket! My sisters and Mum and Dad all commented on how lovely and helpful you were. Chris and I felt like we could truly relax and enjoy ourselves on the day which just summaries how great you all were. The next day having all of our flowers on the table for breakfast was such a lovely touch! Also your team packed up everything so well it was so easy for us to pack up our cars the next day. We couldn’t be more thankful of you all, we just want to re do the whole day again!! We will send through any professional pictures of Rockbeare we receive as everyone has said how beautiful the venue was. Thanks again and have a lovely Christmas and New Year.

Amazing!! Completely and utterly faultless from point of contact through to packing up and heading home after the most incredible experience. Anna Musson is a true asset to Rockbeare manor, impeccable throughout!! Her attention to detail was incredible and we cannot thank her enough for making our day everything we could imagine, never far from the wedding party she made every effort to ensure we were happy! The staff at Rockbeare Manor are a credit to the company, the young staff looking after the guests were amazing, and we have heard nothing but praise from our guests! The most incredible venue and perfect day, better than we could ever have imagined, we were incredibly lucky to have enjoyed the outside space at the venue in October. Not only was our day the most magical day possible but to wake up newly married to be presented the perfect breakfast in the beautiful ceremony room was a real treat and hosted perfectly by the staff! Anna and Team, we just want to thank you so so much for everything you did to ensure our wedding day went perfectly! Your attention to detail, calmness and professionalism guided us through our day without a hitch. From arriving at Rockbeare Manor the day before our wedding to set up a few things (particularly the champagne tower!) you put us at ease and made sure that everything was going to be positioned perfectly and look how we had imagined. We then checked in to The Dairy, this was also perfect and ensured there wasn’t any need to travel to the venue in the morning for the bridal party. The breakfast options at The Dairy were incredible (toast, pastries, yogurt, granola, fruit), dietary requirements were also catered for, meaning they also had various options for breakfast! When you and your team came and moved the bridal party across to the venue, the vision came to life as the flowers and cake had arrived and were being set up! The time spent upstairs finishing getting ready flew by, you and your team were so attentive and really made sure we had a lovely calm morning. Once the bridal party were ready, the help you gave getting us in order and lined up ready was amazing and having a minute before walking out to the ceremony was much needed and brought calmness to the flurry of excitement that we all had! After the ceremony, you guided us through our day, ensuring that we didn’t miss anything we had planned and making sure we always had a glass in hand! The food was out of this world, the Chef and their team made the most incredible food, it tasted amazing and looked flawless, we have had so many people comment on how amazing the food was! (the canapes, ice cream tricycle, wedding breakfast and the gourmet burgers) Once we had finished partying those of us that were still standing and staying at Rockbeare had a drink in the library which was the perfect end, we had time to fully absorb the last hour of our day and catch up with our nearest and dearest. Breakfast the next morning was the perfect ending to our time at Rockbeare Manor, we loved having a banquet style breakfast table, meaning we could see and speak to everyone before we left the venue. You and the team had collected all of the things we had brought (flowers, decorations, table names etc) and put them in the breakfast room so it was easy for us to load them in to the car. We had the most perfect day and it wouldn’t have gone anywhere near as smoothly as it did without you, you and the wider team are incredible, we can never thank you enough!

Me and my husband got married at Rockbeare in August. Words can’t explain how amazing this venue is! We were originally set to be married in Cyprus but had to cancel and needed somewhere to fill the boots of a wedding by the sea. I never thought that I would be happy getting married anywhere else after dreaming of my abroad wedding for 2 years but then we found Rockbeare. From start to finish the whole day was seamless - the staff are unbelievably professional, fun, calm and so organised! An enormous thanks Cameron who looked after us for the day - I cannot believe how amazing he was. He was so calming and checked in with us throughout the day making sure we had a drink and that we were okay. I was so nervous at times and he just brought me straight back down - he was amazing all day and made everything seem so simple and easy. Everyone has commented on how brilliant he was. Thank you so much! The venue itself is out of this world - the scenic views and the simple elegant decor through was perfect for photos and made us feel like we were in our own little fairytale for the day. The manor is so beautiful - we genuinely never wanted to leave. The food was amazing - we had the feast option and people are still talking about it every time I see them. It came out quickly and was wonderfully presented. Everything was so tasty and fresh - would highly recommend the feast option. We can’t thank Rockbeare enough for the amazing day that we had. Rockbeare Manor was the first and only venue we viewed in Devon and we knew as soon as we stepped through the doors it was going to be perfect for our wedding. We cannot thank all the staff at Rockbeare manor enough for making our wedding perfect. Throughout the planning process, the team were amazing at answering any questions we had and made us feel special at each planning meeting. On the day itself, Steph went above and beyond to ensure we had the best day, always checking in to ask how we were doing. She helped set up the dining room exactly as we’d imagined it, even putting out additional candles when I didn’t think I had enough! Steph was also there the day before to help us set up. Steph then transformed the dining room for the evening and it looked just as amazing as it did during the day. I didn’t have to worry about anything other than having a good time and the whole day ran smoothly and to schedule. Thank you Steph for being there with us every step of the way to ensure we had the most memorable day. Breakfast the next morning with our closest family members was the perfect way to end our wedding; Steph and the team repurposed our wedding decor and flowers on the tables, making it extra special. The serving staff were friendly and professional throughout our stay at Rockbeare. Our family and friends were blown away by the setting of Rockbeare Manor, the stunning bedrooms and the friendliness of all staff. They are still talking about it over three weeks after we got married!

Awesome tree lined drive up a beautiful house. Probably had about 10 wedding transports to here always been a very warm welcome. If you are looking for a wedding venue you must check this one out.

Gorgeous venue, delicious food and great staff

We held our wedding at Rockbeare Manor on august bank holiday of this year. We viewed 12 venues in total, and looked at over 50 online and we knew as soon as we walked into Rockbeare Manor, that this was the one. The venue is decorated with such elegance and class, whilst keeping some of the traditional beautiful features too. We were not local, we travelled over 2.5 hours and viewed the venue a few times on the lead up to the day and every time we fell a little more in love. The maintenance of the building itself is faultless. We had two years of planning and Aimee and the team at Rockbeare could not have been more helpful throughout the process. No question or request was ever too much, and they’re all so lovely to deal with. Aimee made the whole experience from the moment we visited for the first time, to the day after the wedding so enjoyable. She is truly one of the most professional and kind ladies in the wedding business. Our wedding day was a dream come true. I am an absolute control freak (if I do say so myself) and had many demands for the day - and I felt so at ease, everything was executed just how we had wanted. The team listened to every little detail at our final planning meeting and made sure that everything was perfect on the day - which indeed it was. Cameron was an absolute delight and we feel so lucky to have had him and Aimee as part of our special day. All of our guests could not have complimented the venue and service anymore - and on top of that, the food was sensational. We had guests saying it was the best food they’d ever had, so thank you to the special team of chefs. We would recommend Rockbeare manor to anyone - from a bride and groom that are rather high maintenance and know what they like, they absolutely delivered on all their promises and went above and beyond. My husband & I attended a wedding at this stunning location yesterday & stayed overnight. The food was fabulous, the room was lovely & a fantastic breakfast this morning. My only small gripe would be some hooks on the wall to hang our posh clothes!

Where to start... We recently had our wedding at Rockbeare Manor and can honestly say it was the perfect venue and we had such a special day. Communication from their team was always extremely helpful and prompt. We were kept up to date right through the process and this helped so much with the stress of planning a wedding. Rockbeare encouraged us to bring in lots of personal details and no ask was ever too big for the Team, in fact they enjoyed the different elements that we requested and offered advice on how to bring our vision to life which we were so helpful for. Anna was our wedding co-ordinator for both our planning meeting and the wedding day itself. Nothing was too much trouble and we can’t thank her enough, from replenishing fans for guests to ensuring we always had something to drink, she even made sure we had plates of our evening food kept back in our room so we didn’t miss out. Also, a special mention goes to Cameron who was always extremely friendly whenever we visited and stepped in to help the grooms party with their button holes. Without him, we’d still be there now trying to put them on! All in all, we couldn’t recommend this beautiful venue enough. Thank you! Mr & Mrs Roberts

My daughter and her (now) husband had the most magical day at Rockbeare. The planning was very professional and responsive. Helen and her team on the day made sure that everything went like clockwork and took all the potential stress away. Nothing was too much trouble and we felt that they really cared. The food and service were excellent and although their experience really showed, at no stage did we feel that this was "just another wedding" for Rockbeare. The feedback from all the guests has been that they thought it was an outstanding venue. The family breakfast in the morning was a fantastic way to finish off the event. Thank you Helen and the team in front of house, in the kitchen, and in the office.

Rockbeare Manor was the perfect place to make our wedding dreams come true! The staff were so friendly and nothing was too much trouble or too many questions to ask. Without the help of Steph & the team, our wedding vision would not have been possible. The finest details were followed and they also went above & beyond in areas we hadn't even thought of in our planning. The food was incredible and all our guests agreed. We were in such safe hands with everything decor-wise and running of the day -they really took the weight off our shoulders and helped us to be stress-free, which is worth every penny! The stunning features and location made for a luxurious day where we all felt like royalty and a lucky few of us got to stay the night. The Old Dairy Cottage was a fantastic new addition to help spread the excitement over a few days and have a location close-by to get ready with the bridal party. Rockbeare is an ideal location for a beautiful wedding day. I was groomsman at my best friends wedding and experienced the logistics with the venue. The team were fantastic from start to finish with set up for the wedding and service over the course of the day. Rooms were all kept to a very high standard. Everything about the venue was clean, tidy and suitable for such an important occasion. Guest experience was fantastic from start to finish, and the grounds are absolutely beautiful.
