Lovely little place, loads of menu choices including vegan and gluten free and happy to switch things out on the set menus, super friendly, nothing was too much trouble. Really cute hiddden gem of a back garden perfect on a dry day!

This little restaurant is full of charm. Dark and moody in the best way! The staff are always friendly and welcoming! The drinks are always good however I was they had more drinks from Japan! The bbq part of this restaurant doesnt really appeal to me, however the bao buns are incredible! You must get the bao selecta if you go! Will definitely be bringing my partner here

We are on holiday nearby and popped in. A wonderful warm welcome from the Landlord Steve. Exceptional service, they couldn’t do enough for us. Highly recommend the homemade cheesecake. Would go back tomorrow.

Amazing, very affordable and wide range of food. Fun tunes too! We loved it and highly recommend. Will probably be back next week, or maybe even tomorrow for breakfast!

Had the most tasty lasagne with salad and garlic bread and the wife had the delicious Trelawney steak & ale pie with chunky chips and very tasty gravy. She rated it one of the best pies she had tasted. The staff were very friendly. It was a very quiet stopover in the adjacent car park and well worth the visit although the route in via Bugle was very narrow for our 7.35m as was the exit north to Bodmin. They did say the best route in is from St Blazey in the south.

Quite a few of the drink items on the menu weren’t available, this was the only short coming. Otherwise a lovely place to have a drink with friends

A friend recommended this place to me for Sunday lunch and it did not disappoint. I had the pork and it was absolutely delicious - the portions are very generous and absolutely everything was cooked to perfection. The pub itself is cosy, with an open fire and country feel. The staff were all brilliant and the service super fast. The desserts looked amazing but we were too full to order one - I heard another customer get a dessert to take away which I later wished I had done! The price is really reasonable too, particularly for the amount of food you get - 7 different types of veg, roast potatoes and Yorkshire pudding. A very generous portion of meat plus perfect crackling with the pork. You can also order extras - we had the stuffing which was also delicious. We will be going back here as soon as possible - best roast dinner I’ve had outside my Mum’s!

Food is good. Prices are going up and up. The portion size is getting smaller and smaller. Will think twice before going now.
