St Tropez Lounge in Poole

Continues to be The Best of The Best! Our go-to for a date night as it never fails to be a memorable experience! The setting, staff, food, atmosphere are all unbeatable and it’s further enhanced by the new latest addition of St Tropez Lounge Club - a cocktail bar next door! We had an early dinner (appetisers, scallops, squid salad, beef bourguignon, skate wing and a generous portion of dauphinois, fries and seasonal veggies each and finished off in the cocktail bar which was a great order to do things as the bar was buzzing and we had a great time with the mixologist and other customers! Absolutely fantastic, yet again!

We went here for my wife's birthday with friends and kids. The staff are amazingly friendly and more than willing to help. The food was faultless, beautiful! 100% going again. The mussels are out of this world 🌎 Part 2 We returned for the second year in a row, as before the service was amazing and the staff was so helpful and polite. Unfortunately, the whole sea bass main was extremely overcooked, shame, really. The mussels, however, are still very good. I would like to see more specials on the menu, as seemingly it was the same menu from last year. More or less.

We went on Saturday night and food was excellent and staff look after us 🙂😀 so we booked up for 29 February for Paris night

We dined at St Tropez lounge Saturday just gone for my birthday lunch We've dined here several times and it is consistently great food, service and ambience. A couple of little surprise touches made it a really special afternoon. Nothing was too much trouble and the staff make sure you are comfortable and want for nothing I cannot fault this restaurant at all and we've already booked again for next month.

Just all round great place. From your welcome to helpfulness with wine choice and even talking through the menu. The food and service is just brilliant. Its a must if you can just give them a try

First visit(a year ago)- Everything was spot on. Lovely staff, amazing food. Good view of the quay. Left with the feeling we would be definitely going back. Second visit (Christmas Eve lunch).Definitely disappointing. Food was okay but nothing amazing about it. Prices are way too high for the quality. We were recommended by the waiter/owner to get a Dover Sole fish to share for two - £70 and we were expecting something spectacular but it wasn't(see photo),not even the taste compensated in any way. The wine list is way overpriced too for the quality of the wines. Don't think we are going back. Very unfortunate because their start was impressive and looked very promising.

Excellent meal with the family from the Christmas menu. Staff go above and beyond to make your experience memorable and the meal was sublime. Thank you for a truly wonderful evening

Had a great time from first having cocktails in the private bar and then enjoying the excellent food. The service provided by Joe and Sebastian really helped make our 43rd wedding anniversary special. This included a surprise desert and photo taken and presented to us in a folder. The reason I scored 4 and not 5 was the price of the brandy which i ordered in addition to my brandy liqueur coffee. Sebastián brought a bottle over and poured a large one which I admit I asked for. The brandy liqueur coffee was excellent and cost a reasonable £8.50. When we got the bill we saw that the brandy Sebastián poured was a whopping £23!!!. On reflection we feel the customer should be informed the price of that Brandy or offered an alternative.

Outstanding! The food and service was out of this world. The staff couldn't have been more attentitive. Food ! Well ... just amazing !!!!

Cracking night out with friends in a friendly staff with fantastic service with food to match.

Food and service are always superb from Sebastian and the team. For the best fish cookery, French cuisine and service you can get ~ St Tropez will always deliver. Fresh oysters, soft and tender scallops and skate wing were the highlights. We cannot recommend them more to everyone we meet.

First time in this restaurant and wowser it did not disappoint. Lovely setting, fabulous staff and the owner and his wife were so lovely. Service was wonderful nothing was too much, good recommendations, stunning food! What can I say, go try it, we’ll certainly be going back.

Stunning food and now a family favourite when visiting in-laws. Staff are incredible - always attend to your every request without fuss and nothing is too much for them to make every visit memorable. Will take pics next visit to show just how amazing food is, but nothing less than a trip here to experience it yourself will do true justice to this wonderful restaurant.

French pastries and wonderful coffee.

From the moment we entered the restaurant we were treated like royalty. The staff are so friendly and knowledgeable and couldn't do enough for us. The food was fantastic quality, beautifully served and presented and the ambience was perfect. It really was like taking a mini holiday for a couple of hours in our favourite place, Nice!!!

It's been a while since we last visited. it is one of our favourites for special occasions. my wife loves fish so had the Monkfish, I started with Poole Cuttlefish and had a fillet steak. It was first class.

It is an excellent French restaurant with perfect service - a great option for everyone who likes French cuisine and wine.

Second to none for food and service. Absolutely spot on we will be back, time and again. Best on poole quay.

Great crab sandwiches on Friday led to full meal on Saturday. French Martinis followed by both types of oysters, then sea bass flambed in pernod & rack of lamb, and rum baba & hazelnut meringue. Kir Royale x 2 to finish. Service was brilliant, and good to see returning customers. This is the kind of restaurant you only hear about abroad, with such beautiful seafood & ambience. Shame we are not local, so looking for that weak excuse......

Frederic, Severine and staff were so helpful. There were 2 of us who were disabled, and I also had intolerances which was no issue as I had plenty of choice. We had 3 courses which we thoroughly enjoyed. We have been before and will return.

Booked a table as I visited here during seafood & sounds weekend so was super busy with lots of people. The waitress ensured I had the perfect table over looking the Quay. I ordered the monkfish & prawn curry with wild rice. It was Devine....

Excellent location right on the quay, very friendly service - a table was made available for us at short notice. This was the best place we ate during our 2 week stay in the UK. Owners come from Cannes and Gap in France, so genuine cuisine at its finest! Absolute recommendation! We'd love to come back!

Moules mariniere with cream? baguette from Tesco? whitebait in breadcrumbs? tasteless sardine filets. Nothing you can't get at any average English restaurant. French accent nowhere to be seen.

Walking past and a local resident recommended the restaurant to us. Service is a credit to the restaurant, friendly, lighthearted making us feel very at ease and relaxed. Food was delicious but could only manage starter & main. Will have to go back to try the desserts. At no time did we have wait to try to get the waiters attention. Owner of this family run business brought the bill and continued the lighthearted atmosphere we had enjoyed throughout the meal. Next time we go to Poole we will go again. Thank you.

Completely enjoyed our late lunch here. Our first visit, and will definitely return when we are next in the area. Great tasting food which was nicely presented with first class hospitality.

Good restaurant, where the food is good, the service is prompt and you can hear the conversation with your friends. The food is quite expensive but reasonably priced wines make up for it. The prawn cocktail was more prawns and crayfish than salad which was a suprise!

Amazing service never asked for wine top up or water staff seemed one step ahead would go again no doubt

Myself and two friends are frequent diners and we make a point of returning to St TrOpez on a regular basis. The food is always excellent and the staff are friendly and welcoming. There’s something on the menu for everyone. We always enjoy our evening there and look forward to returning again soon.
