Kings Arms in Cornwall, Isles of Scilly

Really lovely pub. The staff were all friendly and welcoming with the drinks being cold and refreshing and served quickly. The Food was really tasty and a great portion size. I had the Kings Crown and it left me feeling full while my partner had the loaded fries and had to take them home in a box! Would really recommend for anyone staying in any of the nearby camping sites like we were.

This is the 2nd time we have been in 5 months while down on holiday with friends who live in the village. Once again 10/10 for our meal ,service, and staff nor forgetting the excellent beer. Have told owner as we came out about our 2nd time and going to give then yet another TOP REVIEW. This time I had the Large Fish ^ Chips and it was Large as well plus home made onion rings, my Wife had Scampi amazing our friends had fish pie packed with fish. My Wife and my Best mates Wife had the Mint Cheese cake we both had a bit of it wished we had one as well it was amazing. Riley who was serving our table cracking lad as well can't fault him. Once again this pub hits TOP OF THE TREE for us,can't wait to come back.

Visited on a Saturday evening, a table of 7. Very busy. Waited a little longer than expected, but totally understandable due to the volume of tables. It was definitely worth the wait. Excellent hot food, no complaints from anyone. Could hear other tables complimenting the chef as well. All the staff were friendly, excellent service and there was a lovely atmosphere within the pub. Dog friendly. Definitely recommend.

The best Halloumi Fries my wife and I have ever had, followed by a Cod Mornay and Trelawny Pie. You couldn’t have fit any more steak or gravy in the pie without it bursting, and the Mornay portion would have fed two. Both main courses tasted amazing. Would highly recommend this pub, and hats off to the young lad who was cooking in the kitchen as well as delivering the food.

We were just out to pick something up and decided to stop off at this pub. Welcome, Service and food were great. Will be making a trip specifically to come here in the future.

A great experience from booking to paying, friendly helpful staff. Lovely menu with daily specials on blackboard. scrummy food, well presented and reasonably priced. We were a table of 12 - 6 adults + 6 children aged 1-12 all looked after, all meals came out at the same time. Definitely recommend this pub.

The best pub meal we’ve had in ages. All our meals were tasty and well presented. The vegetable fajitas were particularly impressive. Great value. Very welcoming to our dogs and 20-month-old granddaughter. Will definitely return.

We have been here a number of times this year by ourselves and with family. Every time the food has been excellent with friendly welcoming staff, We will continue to recommend this hidden gem to friends. Food and service is always excellent.

Took our family that were visiting to our local pub here, service from the bar staff and waitress was excellent, we requested a four cheese pizza that wasn’t actually on the menu and they managed to make one that tasted fantastic, it was too much to eat there so they gave us a box to take the rest home. Homemade food and hot, didn’t have to wait too long. Highly recommended

Had lunch here while on holiday. All the food is home made on the premises. I have never had a better pub lunch. A real treat and not expensive. I had the Cottage Pie, my wife and son had the Trevelyan steak pie. Unfortunately, neither could finish their meal which was a shame as the pies were absolutely fabulous. A good selection of St. Austell beer too. Staff were very friendly. Our two dogs were welcomed and doggie biccies available f. o. c. This was our second visit, our previous one July 2022. The standard was as good then as it is now. I will always eat here if I am back in the area next year. Well Done Kings Arms!!

Lovely friendly local pub with great food and beer. Stayed in a B&B near by and ate here every night.

We came here for a family meal out and couldn’t fault the food, it was outstanding. There were some really unique options to choose from on the menu, especially the build your own burger topping choices. Our food was piping hot and was clearly home made and fresh, we will definitely be returning for another visit! :)

Brief and to the point..... The Sunday roast is excellent, the local ales are well kept And nearby Luxulyan Valley offers a pleasant area to walk off any excesses.

We were staying in The Old Vicrage B&B for a short break, so this pub was recommended to us. The food was excellent, with extremely generous portions. A good variety of choice with excellent prices. The steak and ale pie must be one of the best pies we have ever had, but visiting various nights we had to try other meals from the menu. None of them disappointed. Highly recommended!

This pub is genuinely lovely. The chef is an absolute star, because the food is just delicious and the portion sizes are immense. It’s got a great atmosphere and everyone was very welcoming. Been a couple of times now and it is very much our “local” when we are down there. Just superb.

Visited Kings Arms for an impromptu dinner, staff seemed friendly. Food arrived around 45 mins after order, which would be my only complaint, however the portion sizes were large and the food was hot. Good choice of food on the menu and caters for vegetarians After dinner we realised there was a skittle alley linked to the pub on the opposite side of the road. What’s better it was free, so enjoyed a few games again. Would definitely visit in the future if we are back in the area

Fantastic pub which serves amazing food and reasonable / sensible prices. Off the beaten track and a venue that you're unlikely to be driving by, but definitely worth making the effort to put the postcode into your sat nav to get you there, you won't be disappointed. Very welcoming. We visited previously 9 years ago and could remember it being very good back then and are glad to report it remains as good, if not better, now.

We visited for Sunday lunch. It was good good, well cooked, at a very fair price. The service was very friendly and welcoming. Highly recommended, and I'd certainly go back again.
