Prob the best fish and chips in Stroud and give Nippy Chippy a run for their money too! Update: better than nippy chippy. Salt and pepper scraps are good, I'm told the chicken satay is the best in the world too!

Good chippy, massive portions and reasonably priced. We had 5 orders of cod and chips during a really busy time, it took about 20 mins to get the order but they gave us complimentary cod bites and mushy peas (because of the long wait), which was very much appreciated. The fish was well cooked, chips were decent and the chinese curry sauce was amazing.

Great food, great service. This chip shop has maintained its high standards for many year. Highly recommended.

Just got back from grabbing my order and they forgot my sausage, which was the very first thing that I asked for! They got everything else right though and included the salt and pepper bits like usual. But I'm not sure if I've been charged for the sausage and they just forgot to add it though...

Fancied a quick meal for Tea and popped in at about 6.30. Was busy, as Customers were sat outside on the boundary wall waiting for their Order Number to be called. Surprisingly I was served immediately. Service was friendly and Food was good quality. Would recommend.

Possibly the best chippy in Stroud? I went to Rick Stein's chippy in Padstow recently and these guys have him beat. Great, light, crispy batter, high quality fish, and great chips. If you live in Cashes and you like fish and chips, you've won to postcode lottery. Probably not the cheapest in town, but generous with the chips, so even a regular chips is sharable if you don't need big portions. We've been going once every month or two since we moved in 18 months ago, and they are consistently excellent.

Very nice to have the option of a mini cod and it was delicious. The chips were okay, but I had salt & vinegar instead of only salt which I asked for. Nevertheless, staff are quick and hardworking.

Beautiful crispy fish lovely light batter chios were a little on the crispy side we had lots of crispy bits rather than big chunky chips but overall was a lovely hot dinner

Best chip shop around bar none but could be better. How? Please set up, install a small PA system. We all wait patiently outside but we can't hear you clearly calling our names. We hear something, then everyone looks at everyone else to ask who was called. If not a speaker, maybe a LED board with the name of the person about to receive a quality takeaway.
