Excellent flavours, decent portions, fair prices, great service. Loved watching the Bollywood routines on telly as we ate. I will return to try more from the extensive menu...

Fabulous breakfast, freshly cooked. Full English was fantastic, cooked to perfection. Massala Dosa was huge, stuffed with potato & served with dhals and other sauces. Absolutely delicious, and certainly had the Wow factor when it arrived! Very cheap prices when compared to other places. The owners were very friendly, and you could tell they were so proud of their food. Very highly recommended - if we hadn't just come for an overnight stay, and too far to 'pop down' from Hampshire, we would be very regular visitors!

Delicious food, the perfect place for us to take our fussy kids to get a bacon sarnie, beans and chips while we get some delicious South Indian food. We had oothapam, vada and mutton kothu, with masala tea and mango lassi, all delicious and very authentic very similar to what we’ve had in Indian. The people are lovely and were so kind to our kids. Absolutely love this place can’t recommend enough will be back!

You know when you find a hidden gem and you have to tell the whole world about it. Well, this is one of those times. I had the Chicken dosa. Wow, it looked and tasted amazing. Then I tried the mutton curry, it was so tasty my mouth is watering just writing about it. The Devil chicken certainly lived up to its name too, sweet, sour & spicy 😋 If you like authentic Sri lankan food, you have to try this place. I can't wait to go back to try more. Well done guys

This place is a lesser known GEM in Bristol! I've not found a good quality & authentic South Indian/ Sri Lankan restaurant in town. I mean quality ingredients and flavour 💯

Amazing curry. Stopped off for lunch with a friend. Dosa was off the charts, as was the mutton kothu roti. Best Dosa I’ve had.

Gobi Manchurian is amazing. Really reccommend trying the specials as they are always excellent. Cant wait to try the rest of the dishes

Delicious food! A good amount of vegan items on the menu, they just aren't labelled as such. We had: Gobi Manchurian (10/10 yummm), pilau rice, veg kothu (never had this before and it was delicious!) and daal. Lovely staff too!

Such a great place!!! Been here 3 times in the past few weeks after discovering it and can’t get enough. Dosas are amazing all the curry’s and especially the devil dish! So spicy but lushh. Very very much would reccommend. Staff are friendly and the food speaks for itself.

Dropped in for a bite to eat when we were early for a swimming lesson. Was expecting greasy spoon menu and was amazed to find masala dosas. I ordered one to try and was the length of my arm and delicious! What a find. Will be back to try the rest of the menu asap! Delicious. The kind man who served me also made us a fresh orange juice as didn’t want the Robinsons squash one from the fridge. Greta service and passion.

Have been to knife and fork regularly for takeaway and to eat in since we found it. The food is always absolutely delicious, portion sizes are huge and flavour amazing. The staff are always friendly and the prices are really reasonable. The kottu roti is the best I’ve had outside of Sri Lanka.

The best dosa we've had! Super tasty and huge! Lovely coconut chutney 😋 and the medu vada were perfectly crisp and fluffy inside! 😋 traditional chai masala tea and Vegan Dahl option! Great prices! Lovely staff! Highly recommended 👌

Masala Dosa is my favourite south Indian snack. It was served beautifully and is nicely spiced. The Dosa is done really well.

The most authentic South Indian/Sri Lanken restaurant we have been to in Bristol. The dosas are huge and tasty. Mutton curry and cauliflower side dish were exceptional. Had a mango lassi to top it all off which was great. Can’t wait to try other dishes on the menu. Will be going back very soon.

Good: tasty food, affordable Bad: dirty tablecloths, poor service (when we came nobody was there and we needed to call the server from the kitchen), a few items weren't available. Extra point for a crispy chilli paneer, really really good dish

Great Sri Lankan food, great staff.

The most authentic southern Indian food I've had in the UK. This is nothing like the fusionised, dumbed down versions of the dishes served by the popular places on Gloucester Road that claim to be as such in, but full on authentic southern Indian spicing and flavours (read: liberally spicy). Having grown up in Malaysia eating lots of southern Indian food (especially Tamil food), this was a delightful find to have so near me and that I visit almost weekly. The dosas are awesome (mutton or masala potato are my go tos for lunch) and the seafood kotthu is both yummy and a huge portion. Fish cutlet and vadais are also very authentically southern indian and delicious for smaller snacks/starters. Drinks I usually have a masala chai or an indian brew coffee. I have yet to visit for a full on dinner, but I'm sure it'll be just as fantastic when I do. They also operate as a greasy spoon cafe but I'm there for the Indian food (if you haven't already realised).

Tea was luke warm cook had a terrible cough should not have been at work food quality was ok

I had very nice biriyani. If you want to have Tamil style biriyani have this one. And I think they have all variety pf south indian food on menu. And they have very professional and polite staff.

The curry was delicious and I admire the hard working and talented chefs. Count your change if the young lady serves you though. £9 curry, paid with a £20 note, given £1 in change. Accident? It's the oldest trick in the book. What a shame

I shared a masala dosa, some rice noodle dish with anchovies, a paratha and okra curry. With a masala chai and mango lassi to drink. Everything was so tasty, especially the paratha and okra curry - I’d come back for just those two alone!

Love this place. Much better Sri Lankan food than available anywhere else in Bristol. Tried lots of dishes and literally every one is delicious! Could do with a rebrand and I've no idea what the english breakfast food is like, but could happily eat here all the time.

The evening Sri Lanka food is amazing, can't say much about breakfast. Aubergine curry, mutton kothu, mutton biryani, okra curry mmmm. Seriously good. Don't expect a fancy restaurant with all the drinks and frills you're used to, just expect delicious food!
