The quality of the food is not great. Wraps are very dry and ingredients not great. It tastes like they use the kind of vinegary mint sauce you'd have with a roast which doesn't work so well with this kind of cuisine. The wraps are dry and not very hot because it seems they don't put them on a grill. If they want to improve, I recommend the owners go for lunch at Biblos or Dandos and see how to make a decent wrap.

Food was very overpriced and for what you get in a lamb kebab wrap is 85% salad and 15% lamb which didn’t have a lamb taste

There are alot of wrap places in Bristol, but I think Liyas is my favourite! It's the bits of mango mixing with the pickles, and crunchy falafel 😍

I had the most amazing falafel & salad here, the food was fresh & tasty, nice cappuccino & friendly service. I would definitely return.

food was great and delivered on time however delivery driver had not been told to leave the takeaway in the porch as I had requested. After a few phone calls I went downstairs and he was very cross as he had been knocking hard for 5 minutes, so hard my door decoration was on the floor.

The air extraction here is zero, and we nearly just walked out. The fumes were visible in the air. Lots of food for not much money, but not really a relaxing place to be. Now washing all our clothes and coats to get rid of the stech of fried food.

Absolutely delicious chicken and lamb kebab, n and very nicely seasoned chips.

We visited liyas for the first time after staying late to finish a building job, we were tired and so hungry. We had a veg and meat platter to share and it was PHENOMENAL!! Would highly highly recommend

I love it at Liyas! It’s such a cosy space in the colder months and there’s the option to sit outside in sunnier weather. My favourite is a halloumi & salad wrap and they do half the spicy sauce for me cos my palate is pathetic 🤣. I think they do one of the best chai lattes in town, with lush finishing touches Sallyx

Delivery was really quick and the driver was really lovely and polite. The chips were slightly undercooked and the portion was small so a little disappointed but the wrap was delicious and hot. Thanks again Liyas!

We used to love going to Liyas, the veg pakora wraps were our fav. However over the last year or so the quality has been getting worse and worse. We tried it again today on the off chance they’ve improved things, however, the wraps were stale and dry, and then we found actual mould (photo attached). That’s what’s led me to leaving this review - you really really can’t serve mouldy wraps - do better guys.

Food was tasty, but service was awful. We ordered our food and the lady was really grumpy, had headphones in which was so rude. She ended up giving me something totally different from what I ordered, obviously because she had her headphones in. I didn't want to complain at the time because I didn't want the food to be wasted. My friends also ordered naan and pakori which they weren't given, and we didn't realise to after we got home and the restaurant had shut. She was the only person in the restaurant, which must be stressful! But still, the business shouldn't allow for this in the first place. Will not go again.

The falafel was probably edible but hard to eat cos it was covered in incredibly hot chilli sauce. The salad was inedible. The tomatoes had gone bad and the pickles had too. And it was very over priced.

Went last weekend, looked like a quaint little place. On a Sunday they had one person in which seems odd as the crowd quickly started coming which meant long queues and too much to handle for the poor woman. We went for the meat platter for £27 and it’s defo not worth it. Bland and oily and to top it off the chutney had gone off! Won’t visit again.

Ordered a chicken pakora salad box and got a half empty box with 80% hummus all while paying £12.50, an actual joke. Ridiculous because I used to eat here pretty often and it used to be filled to the top but not going to waste my money on something like that again. They’ve either changed management or something but it’s downgraded so much. Not worth money at all.

Tried the papdi chaat but was disappointed. Was almost entirely chickpeas and not at all like some of the pics here. Felt a bit ripped off tbh. Shame as other items I've had in the past have been good.

My wife and I shared the meat and veg platter recently, every part of it was absolutely delicious, and the portions were really generous. Very friendly service too. Highly recommended!

Truly excellent meal at Liya’s today with my family. We all have different tastes and we all found something on the menu we really enjoyed. Delicious, authentic, and accessible cuisine. I highly recommend the loaded lemon chicken fries as well as the halloumi. We will definitely be back next time we are in town. Thank you Liya! <3

Such a lovely café with amazing food - samosas and rosemary fries were INCREDIBLE, she was happy to do babycinos for our toddlers, and so tolerant and kind about our two toddlers roaming around playing (there weren't any other customers in, obviously!) love it here. Have previously had the falafel wrap which was just as good. Highly recommended.

Food was good however I wouldn’t say the portion sizes are worth the price. There wasn’t much chicken in the wrap and neither item would’ve been enough for one person as a dinner. Maybe for lunch. However great flavours

Really enjoyed eating at Liyas. The food is outstanding 10 out of 10. The Papdi Chaat was authentic in taste, it’s visual appearance and texture, amazing loaded fries which have a combination of flavours that just all work well together and delicious chicken wrap. We sat outside on a hot summers day, lovely breeze and fresh air whilst enjoying a delicious meal. Super friendly owner, I would highly recommend and will be visiting again soon.

Delicious. food arrived quickly and tasted very fresh. The rosemary fries tasted homemade, the halloumi salad was generous and full of flavor. can't wait to try the whole menu.

The nicest falafel wrap I've had In a very long time. Everything was fresh, vibrant and full of flavour. The samosas where amazing too. Had a lovely conversation with the friendly owner. Service was quick, and the food definitely definitely filled me up. Would recommend to anyone that enjoys authentic food.

Hidden little gem. Delicious home cooked food. Teas coffees with very friendly owners. In a great location opposite St Werghburts Park. It's very small but don't be put off by this. It's a warm experience

Love this place. Great vegan options too. Months later - Still good! Doesn't seem to suffer from delivery spacemen constantly visiting and hanging around next to your table like most other places do? Which is great.

Great variation specially for vegeterian. Nice and welcoming atmosphere. Local vibes and one pf the busiest, In a positive way of Bristol. Glad Covid restrictions are over for goods. I missed my dreamer promenade .

In a city where wraps arent hard to come by and competition is everywhere liyas is a top contender. Amazing pakora, banging samosas haven't tried the whole menu but i haven't been disappointed yet. would recommend!

Woman behind till was incredibly curt and unfriendly, but seemed to have friendly words for other customers. Wrap was ok, but full of sharp pickles. Pity it didn't live up to the hype.

I found Liya's through Wriggle and opted for the loaded fries at £5.50. These fries were some of the tastiest I've eaten. With each bite I tried to determine what was making this dish so tasty; I soon realised it was the carefully selected ingredients, working in perfect harmony with one another. The fries were spiced and topped with an array of tasty treats, all having their place. Toppings included: fried lamb featuring whole toasted spices, crispy onions, spring onions, a chilli and mint sauce, Liya's special sauce (which is akin to a seafood sauce) and tasty pickled peppers, which were sweet and sharp. I wish I had more time to sample some of the other delights on offer, if these fries are anything to go by, Liya's is a hidden gem of flavour on a road that's stacking up to be one of the tastiest streets in Bristol.

Really fresh & tasty menu all for great value. Superb vegetarian options. Grab a Samosa for a special treat.

Best part of Miner road. Not a big place but its a cosy Part indoor, part al fresco dining experience. Wraps and rest of food are amazing. Staff lovely and friendly. Come here at least once a week as a new local residence of st werburgh. Hughly recommend if you love this kind of food.
