The best restaurants in South West

Went for dinner with my mum and partner, they didn't have gluten free batter the day we went but was able to accommodate. Felt super welcome and food was the best I've had out in a very long time! Highly recommend

Had a fabulous Sunday lunch on 11/5/25. Beef with all the trimmings and it was truly scrumptious. The veg was just right, the roast potatoes freshly cooked and crisp. A very, very enjoyable meal.

A real caring customer focussed time was had. Lovely food, breakfast and evening meal. I will be going back when in Devon again.

Beautiful fresh fish and delicious chips, we had curry sauce and homemade mushy peas perfect with our meal. The happy atmosphere and chatty owners make it a must for a friday chippy dinner or saturdays.

On behalf of Hatherleigh Silver Band we would like to thank Suji and all the staff at Malabar for the most excellent meal and hospitality. So accommodating to cater for everyone's needs and special dietary requirements. The food was wonderful and all at a very reasonable price. No question , the band will be back next year when we are again in Torquay. Thank you.

We absolutely love Curry Express. Hands down the best Indian in Cheltenham, we'll never go anywhere else. They're always super friendly too. Can't fault them

I called in for a pint or two, July 2018. Only one real ale available, the cardboard label said it was Doombar. Firstly it smelled rank, secondly, you couldn't see through it, thirdly, it tasted awful. There was no point giving it back as they obviously don't know how to keep real ale and there was no other option anyway. Looking around, I certainly wouldn't eat there.

Best sushi I've ever had....the quality of the sushi is top notch and the owners and staff are so lovely and helpful. Sushi king is the king of sushi
